Yeah, this one is an incredibly pointless stereotype. Yes, I am a bit of a pervert. I have sexual thoughts, oh well. I can control the impulses fairly easily (though if someone is dressing deliberately provocative and I'm in the mood, I may not be able to help but look). Would I attribute this to my gender? No. I have the luxury of being in the loop with some of my female friends (and have had some honest girlfriends). I would simply venture to say that most people have sexual thoughts at times once puberty begins. I don't think there's anything wrong with that. Personally, I think the stigma towards male sexuality is based on resentment on it having been more socially acceptable (pure conjecture), depending on geographical location anyway, but there's no reason why a chip on a shoulder can't exist in a relatively openminded place.

Gotta say, if those were my friends, I'd bring it up with them (honestly) about what's bothering you and why, and if they continue with the behavior, drop them. I don't think disrespect like that should be tolerable from a friend (or anyone really, but you know, choose your battles and all that annoying stuff).

Hell no. They might be a little sexist, but I'm not going to drop my best friends just for that. Everyone has problems and like I said, it doesn't bother me that much.

It's disrespectful, sure, but nobody's perfect. They can't really help it and don't really realize they're doing it. I don't blame them.

One that offends me a lot. In fact, compared to many other my own age (including females!), I'm not really that perverted. Sure, I'll laugh at a sexual joke once in awhile, but who doesn't? And I never say sexual things that would disrespect a woman.

What really grinds my gears is that they think it's okay to exclude me from serious talks (especially about relationships) because I'm a dude. lol I mean, sure, they'll involve our gay mutual friend, but not the bisexual, who is, for all appearances, straight. Ugh.

Not disagreeing with you, but the vibe you put out contradicts that. I'll chalk it up to in the moment frustration or something, but I couldn't tell from the OP.

First, I think men are probably as dirty as women, but different people show it/are it in different ways.

Second, a man in a group of guys being treated as not equal. Sounds familiar, only from the other side. Happens to women in groups of men, too.

And I once walked in on my parents...yeah...when I was a little kid, too little to understand what was going on. I barely remember it. It was weird. XD

My problem is that I'm not being treated equally as a friend... which is weird, because I don't get that problem when it's just me and a friend. When I get them all together, this weird thing occurs and it's kind of annoying. Part of it might be that they've all known each other much longer than they've known me, but still, it's annoying not to be included. If I'm around and they need to talk, then yeah, they'll talk to me, but if there's someone else around they'll find a bathroom and not pee in it together. confused

The sexism thing isn't so bad... it's just annoying that they're so inconsiderate.

Are you serious your not allowed in the girls bathroom i always get in their with my freinds

I really don't see whats is so damn wrong with talking about sexual stuff.

Heck I'll admit I'm really perverted and I'm happy with it. (sorta how I got the nick name The Dirty Pervy Cow) >.>

People are like always "OMFG HE B TLKN ABOUT SEX AND PENISS AND VAJINAS" It's really annoying I mean really , it seems that NO ONE ever thinks about when the truth is people do it constantly, It's natural

And I think its also kinda dumb that people get all crazy when you're on the topic of a p***s or v****a, wow its a body part so what?? People don't go crazy when we talk about our arms or legs or nose....

Perversion is hard to define. Women are equally as sexual, and enjoy it as much as men do. Usually it isn't fair to say that.

However, men are attracted and stimulated by sight, and have the imperative to spread their genes for the survival of their species as much as they can. Women, on the other hand, can have only a limited number, and are far more reserved with who they would mate, and aren't as likely to have the impulse jump on just anyone like a man does.

This ultimately ignores a man's sense of choice, however. Not all men are perverted. However, there is another factor, which is society. Man is reverred for sexual prowess, while woman is shunned for the same act. From the moment you are born you are told you are different from the opposite gender, even though only your genitals are different. If someone mistakes you for the opposite gender as a baby, the parents are offended. They make sure to dress you in your colors, tell everyone that you are in fact a boy or a girl, and men are given action figures and trucks while women are given dolls and houses.
Before puberty, you see the opposite gender as icky and something to stay away from. Then puberty comes and you want to sex them. Men have been raised to be men, but much stop being all macho and crap to woo women. Most men find that to be an act, or something done just for women. A man would not be considerate or gentle speaking if not for his lover. In this way, many men are raised to be perverts in which most women are not.

Ultimately, it is a choice to be respectful of women. Friends of mine have checked out women in the halls, purposely staring at their behinds or their bosoms. I sometimes have my eye caught, but that is it. So are all men perverted? Mostly. Are they hardwired? Somewhat bioligically and somewhat socially, but not ultimately.

I think I understand how ya feel... Then again, sometimes, I can seem sexist. XD
I'm a tomboy, so technically, it's a bit hard to fit in. I don't give a f*ck about the latest celebs, or what fashions my friends are wearing, or blah blah anything that stereotyped as being girly. And.... Since most of the boys i've ever met seemed to be inheritely stupid, and, in a few words.... Seemingly unfeeling or uncaring towards female kind and their own kind, I find it hard to communicate with them as well. Sometimes, it feels like the closest thing i'll ever have to a buddy is a gay. *not that having a gay guy for a mate is a problem*
Technically, I'll be lagged by most of my female mates if I do anything that's deemed, *unusual* and most of the boys for doing something *their into*....Hell, even my own boyfriend sometimes sterotypes me. It's friggin annoying...-_-
I think it's down a helluva lot to society. In a way, boys are raised to be macho and *perverted* if you will. Girls, on the other hand, will get shunned if they seem like they're perverted. Sex for boys = good. Sex for girls = bad. Until a vast majority of society starts to view males and females as equal, including the gays, bi's and lesbians, then things aren't gonna change....-_-
*Personally though....I've only ever met one boy who truly isn't into all this perverted, sexual stuff.....But you could consider him as a gaming nerd and a narutard...*

I've been a tomboy for the entire life - I didn't wanna play house when I was a kid. I didn't wanna play with dolls. I did play with small cars and toy guns. I was the only girl in a group of guys - and it's like that nowadays too. I don't care about fashion, I don't care about the latest celebrity gossips and I can't stand anything overly cute (I hate Hello Kitty stuff from the bottom of my heart). I hate pink and I hate the noise those ridiculous high heels make when a horde of blonde, giggly and idiotic girls walk in our school's hallways. Seriously, everytime I hear that sound I wanna jump up, run to them and strangle them. Their IQ is seriously lower than their shoe size.

I don't brag about my sexual experience while the guys in my class do so - I just sit there and laugh at them, commenting something maybe... But I do tell dirty jokes and I have no problems when it comes to talking about sex openly. I think it has a lot to do with the time when I was a small kid and still growing up, because I got used to hanging out with males. And I'm actually happy about that, because I didn't end up to be an airheaded blonde that only cares about her makeup, hairdo and latest gossips.

You make it sound like every girl other than you is this blonde airhead =/

I like the color pink, but I'm still somewhat intelligent. I don't think that has anything to do with playing with toy cars as a child, though...

Yes, all men are perverts. So are women. No, it's not stereotyping, and no, it's not a bad thing. It's a basic concept of evolution, people. Our brains (this goes for males and females) are programmed to have thoughts that aid in our continued survival.

This explains why men are attracted to young women; young women are most likely to have healthy offspring. This explains why women are attracted to strong, wealthy men; they are most likely to be sufficient providers for their family. This explains why everyone thinks babies are so adorable; we have to protect them from predators so that they will survive and grow up and contribute to the human race's continued survival and growth.

And last but not least, this explains why everybody (particularly adolescents and young adults) have strong sexual impulses; we need to have sex in order to have offspring, so that the human race will continue to survive and grow. Maybe now we're smart enough that we would have sex even if we didn't want to, because we know that we have to in order for humanity to survive, but don't forget that a few thousands of years ago, we had nothing but basic instinct to guide us along.

So in conclusion: would you rather have a world where all men are perverts, or would you rather have a world where the human race became extinct thousands and thousands of years ago?

Um... does this mean you are disagreeing with me? Anyways, I've learned a bit more in my classes. Essentially, from all the years of saying that sexuality is wrong to women but giving high fives to men for sex, it is implied that by default women do not sex it up, while men have boners on cruise control. It is reverse sexism.
