Adela kept running, her ears catching her brothers plea, coming to a stop after a while . Enjoying running but seeing little point in running when there was no were they had decided to go. But they had covered a fair bit of distance. Looking over the ones that had been behind her, not recognising her older sister. But knowing the other sister that was there. Smiling at her mother and brother as they get close.

Telnara ran towards them as her and linnie became more closer to them.Trying not to get close to the ice her hoove clipped and clopped aganist the snowwy ground."Cmon linnie!"She raced for them.
"But!"She watched Nara speed off for them.Troting slowly behind she didn't feel in the mood for running today.But she would try her hardest.Then,when she had seen her brother.Linnie bolted for him."Chevvv!"

Chev didn't make it and fell on his side , still sliding on the ice looking at his sisters with a pout.
Contessa shook her head and planted her hooves down hard on the ice making a easier path to walk and scooted her only son to a clearing away from the ice.
Chev moved further into the softer ground he let out a sigh and asked," did that look as stupid as I feel?'

Adela walks over, smiling at Chev, giving him an affectionate nuzzle. "Not as stupid as I did when I first tried ice skating." Smiling at her mother before nudging Chev to get up. "Don't lay in the snow too long, you will get cold and sick!" Giving him another nudge before moving over to stand at her mothers side.

Chev nodded about to get up until he looked down a bit and smiled, " I see something shiny!"
Contessa looked around in that directed and trotted over, almost used to the ice and snow, " it's a volcanic rock," she started to dig it out with her hooves and found the rock to be small and misshapen, about the size of a walnut.

Adela tilts her head, not having seen anything like that before, well she had but not exactly like that. Moving closer to get a better look ay what it was. "What is it?"

Chev went over and peered closer, " is it a rock? or glass?"
Contessa giggles, " It's a over heated rock that melted. I wonder how it got here?"
thinking maybe a squirrel buried it.

Adela sniffs at it and gives it a funny look, nudging it and seeing how it shined, nudging it again. "I like how it shines, its pretty." Smiling, keeping nudging the stone, liking how it went from dark and shiny, to flashing white for a moment.

Chev starts laughing a bit, " someone's acting like a girl!"
Contessa snort back a laugh and brushes up tp Adela,"It's kinda like you, it sometimes shines bright."
She loved all her children, which to her they are like earthbound stars.

Adela glares at Chev and gives him a little kick, never having been told she acted like a girl. "I find some things pretty, that does not make me a girl." Knowing she WAS a girl but she had never been the type of girl that cooed over things and preend or spent any time on her looks.

Chev snort and turns away," FINE I take it back! your NOT like a girl!"
Contessa smiles and nuzzles her back then swiftly kicks Chev,Say your sorry!"
Chev ashamed looks down and pouts,"...sorry..."

Adela nuzled her brother, not having ment for him to get kicked twice, a little puzzled why their mother had done it but she wasn't going to ask any questions. Smiling at her brother, loving him dearly. "Apology accepted... besides being the only boy arent you glad that I'm not primping all the time?" Not really knowing much of anything about her family, but she did know that of the 6 siblings there were 5 girls, guessing that some of them must be a bit fussy and obsessed with their looks.
