Tranduil started to roar in laughter, his body shook and he tried very hard to stay still for Nishi's sake. Calming down, almost as soon as he had started, Dui waved his paw in front of him, as if trying to shoo something. "Ahhh...This day just continues to get interesting. The name's Tranduil." Dui was very aware of the size difference between himself and Lorne. The very large size difference. And Dui was larger than all his brothers and sisters. "Don't worry about it all too much."
Dahn Tau had different ideas. "DEER? I look like a DEER now?" Someone needed to work on their temper. When Dui stepped on his brothers back, the lunar kyn hit the floor again, hard, and blinked in surprise. Dui wasn't hurting him, just keeping him down. "B..?! B-b-bAH!" Was all the lunar could manage to wheeze out.
"Dahn..." Dui gave him his best glare yet and turned his attention to the two female kyns. "Nishi, Kaaruni, are you both ok?" He lowered his head closer to the ground for Nishi, realizing how she was clinging to him.

Nishi issued a small squeak, her wings a little rumpled behind her back in her distress. She turned her head to mouth her mane back into place before looking up at the eye of the other. "I'm-I'm okay..." For such a big heart earlier, she certainly did startle.
Kaaruni was still all bared fangs, tail curled over her back dominantly. Her forelegs were rigid, tense with her own aggression. Size was obviously something she wasn't seeing right now, nor was reason. A sharp growl slipped from her, and she turned abruptly from facing the european kyn. The fur around her neck slowly settled, but her teeth continued to be displayed and her tail was still swept over her back.

Lorne wheezed and coughed again, then lay his head on the ground. "I really am sorry, you know. It's not easy being big... I've had to eat plants to keep from going hungry because I just can't catch enough to fill myself! Plants, for goddess's sake!" He glanced at a nearby sapling-- one of the very few that had not been snapped by the force of his wings-- and leaned over, taking the whole thing in his enormous jaws, pulling it out of the ground, and swallowing it. "... Blagh. Awful." He lay his head back down and sighed.

Tranduil would have raised an eyebrow if he were human. Seeing as he wasn't, he of course did no such thing. Paw still carefully holding down Tau, Dui nodded to Lorne. "Forgive my brother. His temper overrules his reasoning. I, for one, do not blame you for your mistake." He gave a toothy grin, and Dahn Tau sighed from underneath, thinking how corny the large kyn on top of him was being.
Finally set free, Dahn Tau shook himself and strolled away, grumbling to himself. Sitting himself beside Kaaruni, he glanced at her from the corner of his eye. He blinked once, twice, then stood again, walking right in front of the startled lunar. He didn't look directly into her face, but kept his head down. He was trying to distract her, but didn't know what to say.

With an unfurling of her wing and a light push off of Tranduil, Nishi was once more aloft. She winged over to the massive head of the other kyn, peering down at him curiously until a hesitant smile slipped into place on her face. "It's-It's alright. Poor little one." With a warm croon, she settled onto his large nose and looked him in the eye, as she coul really look at one at a time.
She looked over her shoulder, neck curling slightly, at her sister and the two kyn brothers whom they had just met. For a routine walk in the woods, it certainly had turned into a busy day. She wondered briefly what her human was going to think of all this when they returned home. "It's alright Kaaruni. I'm fine."
Kaaruni eyed Dahn Tau out of the corner of her eye as he approached and seated himself, taking a startled step backwards as he moved in front of her. A partial growl rose from her, taking her lost ground back aggressively. "What's your deal?" Ears flicked at her sister's words, confused at the european's action of eating the sapling and this strange-looking lunar's behavior.

Lorne blinked, then carefully threw his head back and laughed at Nishi's calling him a "little one". It was a deep, booming laugh, the kind that startles you for a second before mellowing you out and calming you down and just making everything seem funnier. He lowered his head and raised a giant claw up to shake Nishi's claw with just the tip of one railroad-spike claw. "Nice to meet you. Well, I really should be off... I have to get back to the den to help my Prince prepare for the upcoming tournament. My Prince is Hadus... we belong to Ganon Firenight. If you ever come by the mountains, swing by the foothills. You'll find us." He smiled and let Nishi down, then carefully turned, waved, and ambled off on the ground, clearly deciding not to lift off with all these kyn around.

Tranduil suddenly started to chuckle to himself, then laugh. "Well so it seems...so it seems..." He kept mumbling to himself. "It was a pleasure and honour meeting you, kind sir." Dui yelled after the HUGE kyn. "Till next time. And good luck with whatever you must do."
Dahn Tau barely noticed the large Lorne leave. He just blinked at Kaaruni. He paused before answering, and Kaaruni must have even thought that he was not going to answer at all. But he sighed, and, "Sorry. Didn't mean to." And he moved back to her side instead of in front of her. Obviously, he wasn't helping the situation.

The small kyn peered up at Lorne as he shook her hind claw, twittering slightly to herself in the process. "Leaving so soon? I suppose you do need that deer you thought we were." Nishi fluttered away from the disappearing Lorne, neck twisting and turning to peer at Tranduil as he spoke before she trumpeted her own musical farewell.
Kaaruni eyed Dahn Tau a bit as he moved back to her side, eyes flicking to Lorne as the giant of a kyn headed off. At least now she didn't need to worry about that thing breathing and inhaling her sister. Her ears flicked back as she turned to look at Dahn.
"You meant perfectly well to." She turned from him, padding under Nishi to give her sister a perch to land on, which she took without another word.
"Well, he was certainly a large kyn. Are all europeans that big?" Nishi and her sister had never seen a european before, as their clan had none.

Dui lowered his head so it was about level to Nishi. "Oh no, no, no, small and delicate one. Dahn and I have a few brothers and sisters...and three of them that are european are quite small. Smaller than me. Sir Lorne seems to be an especially big one." His mouth curled upward in a kynish grin. "Quite a surprise I've had today. First would be the meeting of two gorgeous ladies..." He paused to add to his words. "And the second of course is the meeting of an unusually large, but friendly kyn."
Dahn Tau bristled up again, and started to open his mouth to say something to Kaaruni, but only managed to sputter. "Wha-?! Buh...!" He would have turned bright red if he was only able. "I....I did not! Gah!" He soon found himself being threatened by that same paw Dui had often used on him before and quieted down, prefering not to be squished.

Nishi issued a small noise hallway between a chirrup and a full-fledged dragon thrum at Tranduil's initial comment. She fluttered her wings at his ending comment, looking back after the Eastern who had gone. "He was polite as well, if a little too big for his own good." Despite her size, she was still very sympathetic to the one, perhaps finding a similarity in suffering from size issues with her brothers and sisters.
Kaaruni dipped her muzzle downward, wiping at it with a paw as she tried to cover her chuckle. Despite herself, her tail crept over her back and waved there in a friendly arc.

Tranduil smiled kindly at Nishi. "Ah, but physical size matters not, it is the size of the heart that counts. And you, dear Nishi, have the largest heart of all." He took a bow, bringing his head as close to the ground without actually touching it and rested there, grinning quite broadly.
Dahn Tau felt his brothers weight get heavier as the large kyn got closer to the ground and struggled to breath or wriggle away. He finally managed to get his chest out from under the claw, but his back legs were stuck. He looked completely pitiful, helpless and gawsh darned hilarious. He turned to glance embarassingly at Kaaruni; and felt even more humiliated.
"Eeee...Duiiiii...." He wriggled violently(which no grown lunar kyn should do, especially with his already bruised ego)...to no avail. He squeaked and gave up, flopping onto the ground.

Nishi dipped her head down, her neck arching over it in a snake-like manner. If she hadn't been pink by birth, she would have surely been blushing. "You really are the charmer, aren't you?"
Kaaruni shook her head, forepaw resting once more on the ground. After Dahn Tau's look of embarassment and continued disdain for his own pride, the female padded over and stared down at him. "Not very much pride for a lunar." She gave a swish of her bushy tail before turning and walking back a bit more slowly to her sister.
"The sun's going to be setting soon. Perhaps it's best if we head home.
"Ah, can't we just talk a little longer 'Runi?" The lunar gave a sigh, lowering herself into a laying posture with her forepaws crossed and her tail tucked neatly at her side, one ear canted back towards Dahn Tau slightly. She wasn't going to walk away from her sibling.

Tranduil grinned at Nishi. "Always." Upon hearing Kaaruni's comment, Dui looked up towards the sky. It was indeed getting dark. "Ahh...as much as I do hate to see you leave and cause my life to darken without your bright presence.." He glanced at Kaaruni. "..-s" He added, nodding. "But I also fear the chill that comes with darkness. Your gentle souls should not be left vulnerable."
Dahn Tau had to strain his eyeballs to look up at Kaaruni when she trod over to his squished self. He gaped at her as she walked away again. "W-What? I have plenty of...urf...pride. It just always *pant* dies..." He violently struggled against his brothers hold, determined to prove himself right, and Dui, being the big brother that he was, lifted his weight just slightly, and cause Tau to go flying into a nearby tree.
Shaking his head in surprise, Dahn Tau glowered. He gave it up and lay down, not exactly next to Kaaruni, but not far. "You're right..." He sighed. "And I give up on it."
