Almost all of her siblings--save Aphrodite of course--were now in the water. Eurydice didn't understand why her sister disliked the water so much--the sea was their friend, their provider... at times their enemy, but not always. The sea... Eury looked at her sister pleadingly. She didn't want to do this without her. Well, the only thing she could do was to offer encouragement. Aphrodite didn't honestly want to be considered a cub forever, did she? ...Did she? Shaking her head mentally, Eurydice practically danced into the seawater, eager to feel the wet sand between her paws, ready to n** at the fish eager to be caught for dinner.

Well, one way or another, Aphrodite would come into the water--at least for a short while. Wait, what was that? She had saved Tyche? Or... Eurydice turned her attention to that conversation, pondering. Tyche wasn't scared of the seawater, so why...? Ah. Tricked Aphrodite, did she? Hiding a chuckle, she swam even further out to sea, using the sea waves as part of a ride farther out. She turned around in time to see Aphrodite flip herself into the water, and nearly swam back in an urge to help her. However, she knew that, just like the rest of them, Aphrodite would learn, and it wasn't like Aphrodite wasn't a bad hunter. She just... hated the seawater for some odd reason that Eury couldn't figure out.

"Aphrodite, ye al'ight?" she called out, concerned. That trip into the water didn't look like it felt good at all.

'Kota resisted the urge to leap up and help the chocolatey pink female, she was his daughter, she was strong even if she felt she wasn't. This had to be done alone and unless there was any die need, he knew he couldn't and shouldn't interfere. He sits back down and watches quietly.

Vuai smiles lightly at his mother and father, they seemed so calm and yet, so worried about the cubs, he knew they would be able to do it, they were a part of this big, strong family, and with that came the joy of the sea, the love of the waves and most importantly, a strong reverence for the briny waters.

Pelleas spreads his wings slightly as he watches the lions making a fuss, what was the big deal, he wondered? Eh, it was a lion think, he knew Vuai had done the same thing when he returned from his travels. It was a part of who they were, he just wished they would hurry up, he was starting to get hungry, it was time to start fishing!

Poseidon sighs and follows his other siblings deeper in to the waters, he knew what he had to do and if all the encouragement they were giving wouldn't get aphro in to the water, then he wanted to be an adult already!

Moving deeper in he smiles as the water laps around his chest moving higher, he slowly smiles as he feels his paws lifted from the ground, he was a fair distance from the beach now and he had to paddle to turn himself around, but this floating felt so natural he wanted to stay in the salty brine. He knew though that the seas waves could be dangerous so he turned and started to swim for shore, he would be an adult when his paws touched the beach, an adult with allt he responsibilities of one and he was darn proud f that!

After some time of reaching out in the heavy seas waves his paws inally touched the beach, standing in the low sloshing waters with his head held high and water dripping from his fur he shakes his brawny body and grins broadly. "That was fun, can I do it again?" He chuckles and trots up to his parents sitting down next to them, his fur dripping slowly and dampening the sand around him. He was an adult now and he was ready to take on his responsabilities.

Her eyes were tightly shut as she didn't think she'd be able to go forward if she saw the ocean all around her. She was already starting to hyperventilate and was trembling all over. Why did she have a fear of water? She didn't know, but it started in her very earliest memories.

No soothing from her family was getting through to her as her mind was in such a turmoil of emotions from fear to complete and utter terror.

Each step forward and the rising of the water on her body, she forced herself to move forward. She needed to get this done and she kept on repeating in her mind over and over that this is the first and last time she'd go in the water. She'd never go in the water again after this, but she must get this done to help make her family proud.

And before she knew it, the water was so high that she had to raise her head to keep it above the water. Her paws were losing grip on the ground before she couldn't feel it anymore. With a little yelp of surprise and fear, she waded in the water for some time, with much difficulty as she's never swam before but somehow managed to keep her head above the water.

When she felt it was long enough, she turned around and headed back towards the shore as fast as she can. Once her paws had a firmer grip on the sea bottom, she ran out of the water. Once she was fully out of the water she shook herself violently to get all the water off of her body as she was shaking and trembling. She made her way to her parents and hoped that they were proud of her.

Now Tyche felt bad for having tricked her water-fearing sister so long ago, when they were cubs. Well, technically they were still cubs since they hadn't left the water just yet. But it had still been a while ago since that fateful day...

So she kept an eye on Aphrodite, just like everyone else did, and stayed close to her. The red lioness knew luck was on her side, for her sister stayed in the water longer than she probably ever had in her life, before swimming back to shore. Tyche watched first, then smiled as she continued to paddle and float in the water. She had swum as far out as she could possibly go before the sand left her paws and she was treading water. The feeling that the ocean gave her, when it was just the water and her, was so strong and happy. The lioness relied completely on the water for her life, and as fate would have it, the ocean was being gentle today even with her salty waves.

When the time came for her to swim ashore, Tyche gave the horizon a respectful nod and swam towards the beach. Her paws soon hit the sand again, and she loped towards her waiting family with a smile on her face.
