"You, my light, have strength in you like no other," was it a jest, or was he trying to be relatively respectful of her stature? No matter, had he hooked her enough, baited her enough to want to take a bite? Seemed so. He flicked his tail, let his wings stretched out and back and he sighed, relieving the tension.
"I know not how your pride would accept one of myself, if they have heard jested stories of who I am, no matter my light," he watched her, with white glowing eyes and offered a smile. "I would stay close, if not allowed within these lands," he took a step towards her, a low growl, almost purr from his throat, "trust I've only granted to those I feel...connected to, in one way or another," now would she run?
If not, it was perfect, almost set in stone.
This was going to be too fun.

He had her, she wasn't going anywhere. "Perhaps they would accept you." They had accepted Primitus. But she wanted this secret to herself. "But always better safe than sorry. We could...see if they accept your...mortal self first?" She felt heated, oddly warm and a purr coming from her throat. "And how am I connected to you, dark one?"

She was smart too. A fine choice for this game, though he felt himself watching her without blinking for too long, and he broke the contact. He grinned and let himself fade back into his illusion, "My light has such wisdom when so young, hold strong to that, and it will never fail you, I've seen it be a strong tool for survival."
He flicked his tail, walked close to her and stopped just a breath away, towering over her almost, he grinned, "For now we will see what happens, and my connection," he breathed deep and whispered to her ear, "I will show you when the time comes," he pulled away and began to walk again, calling.
Perfect, just perfect.

His praise just made her feel warmer, glad that someone that wasn't related to her could see her worth as more than a young lioness feeling invincible. She knew she wasn't invincible...but she had her skills. And her smarts. "I'll do my best, Katana'k."
His closeness made her shudder a little, but not from fear...more from anticipation of...something. She wasn't entirely sure what. And when he drew away from her, there was a slightly empty feeling that had her scrambling after him at his call.
She wanted to stay close, until she knew. And maybe even after...
