Terrion Marie Thunderslash
Terrion leaned back against the train chair, her deep black hair falling over her slim shoulders. Quiet night... she thought to herself. She shifted uncomfortably as she heard a woman speak. It was so strange to be in the presence of other people and out of the wilderness that she had just lived in for fourteen years. Alone. Her glass blue eyes snapped open, glancing around her. She studied the two women but nestled back into the hard plastic surface of the chair. She had the look of an aloof, outlandish girl who had lost her way, but yet she seemed hardened beyond her 17 years. Her dress was almost as strange as she; a black tunic and leggings with a sturdy belt wrapped around her waist. Why, oh why, did I just have to be cast out of the world as a Nightshade?

Eve sat down next to Terrion on the train. She was not sure why this girl intrigued her interest so much and had been following her most of the night, although the girl did not know. She could tell this was not a normal girl, but who was she? What was this odd smell of power this girl contained? Eve was baffled and finally, although it was uncommon in her, spoke: "Who are you?" she demanded forcefully. Her voice was harsh and cold and her stare menacing, but the girl didn't even flinch.

Standing outside the passenger car Striker looks out into the night taking several deep breaths, relishing in the sweet aroma of the night air. Soon he thought to himself i will be back home were it all began. Breathing some more of the sweet scented air in Striker opens the door to the train and ducks his head to get into car. Closing the door behind him he notices to young women sitting together talking rather then get in the way of what looked like an argument he sits himself down near the rear of the car. Pulling his sword across his lap so the handle sticks out over the next sit Striker starts polishing his weapon, just in case his welcome is not too corridial back at home.

Terrion jerked out her trance-like state with a start. She shied away, from force of habit, as Eve spoke. She glanced over at her and blinked. Nobody had ever come up so boldly to her like that.
"Why do you ask?" she asked haltingly, her voice, melodious, but yet seemingly cracked from the lack of use, strong and not betraying her true feelings of uncertainty. She fingered the handle of one of the slim swords that were strapped to her waist. Force of habit.

"You are not normal," Eve said calmly. She watched Terrion as she reached for the handle of one of her swords. "I do not mean you harm. I am simply," she paused, searching for the right words, "curious" she said at last. At that moment a boy walked by. Eve noticed that he was carrying a sword. "Interesting" she smirked.

"What defines normal?" Terrion murmured, more to herself than to Eve. She left her fingering and looked back at Eve. "Curious..." she echoed, suddenly feeling a bit woozy. No, no! Not now! Not now! she screamed in her head. SNS. Again. She was loosing conciousness. No! She couldn't believe it was happening again, even if it had been about five months since it had occurred. This was the conciquence of being a Nightshade.

"I see," Eve said as she watched the girl's expression change. She must be a nightshade she thought. She heard a small screech coming from the tracks below them. This can't be good! Come on, girl, wake up! The train made a sudden jolt. It's going to crash! Eve looked at the girl once more. I cannot leave such an interesting girl behind! Either she wakes up soon, or I will have to save her!

Rogue fell out of her seat as the train buckled. Ah crap. She got up quickly, flipping herself into a standing stance. She glanced at the other people in the carridge. "What are you waiting for?! Get out!" She tensed her arms, using the shadows from outside to try and right the train. No use. She ran forwards, to the front of the car, and threw open the door.
Ho-ly talking mushrooms..... The train had been dislodged from the main car and was totally off track. If the train didn't stop soon, they were all going to die. Nova. She growled and threw out her arms. A wave of darkness exploded out of the ground, oozing towards them. Too much....Energy.... Her eyes narrowed. Can't.....Stop.....

Eve felt Rogue's power increase. I did not sense her! What has happened to my powers? She glanced at Terrion, I am sorry, she thought as she rushed to the door, but I must stop this!. It was obvious that Rogue couldn't hold it in any longer. No! She grabbed her hand. Her eyes rolled back in her head and something that looked like black ink began to replace the original white as she tried to absorb some of the deadly power soon to be released. I cannot allow this to happen! Her eyes turned completely black and she could no longer see. She gasped as she lost consciousness.

Rogue felt someone grab her hand. The inky darkness stopped it's restless churning and became a mass of softness. It slowed the train and Rogue nearly collapsed as the train skid to a halt. A shaky hand held onto the side of the door as she tried to support herself. "I-is everyone alright??" She breathed. She noticed the unconscious girl next to her and helped her into a seat.

Terrion slumped forward as she finally lost the battle to stay awake. The train jerked to a stop and her limp body crashed to the floor.
Deep in the inky darkness of her own mind, Terrion struggled to regain conciousness, grappling with the shadowy form of the SNS that had taken residence in her mind. Suddenly, a thousand voices burst into her head, causing her to release the form and sink to her knees, screaming. It was like this every time. She lost conciousness, tried desperatly to wake up, but then the voices... The thoughts of thousands of others all around her, from two feet away to miles around... She gave up her fight and slumped forward, tears streaming from her eyes. Now all she could do was wait.

Eve woke up slowly. The blackness in her eyes was fading. The train had come to a halt and she looked outside. Snow, all she could see was snow. Where am I? she thought. She realized she was sitting in one of the seats on the train. How did I get here? She noticed a girl walking away. It's her! She struggled to her feet. Maybe I should follow her, but what about the other girl? She could smell something salty. Tears. She is alive. She smirked, this has proven to be an interesting night. I wonder what will happen next?

Rogue jumped out of the train, looking skywards. Snow...When was the last time I had enjoyed snow like this....? She opened her arms and twirled slowly, humming a melody from the past. Where had she heard it before?? It was so haunting and beautiful, from another world...Her head turned towards the overturned train to see the girl from before, the one who was unconcious, stand up and look out of the window.

Terr opened her eyes and breathed in a heavy sigh. Awake! And so quickly! She blinked and wiped away the tears that had fallen while she had been unconcious. She slowly got to her feet. She glanced around her, taking in every detail. She could sense the distress in the air.
"What happened?" she asked no one in particular. Snow... When was the last time I had enjoyed snow like this...? The words echoed in her head. "Snow...?" She rushed to the car door. The white stuff was falling, lightly catching on the wind and dancing to the ground.

Eve watched the girl that was enjoying the snow. She walked out of the train car and towards Rogue. There were many things that she wanted to know about Nightshades and had decided that the best way to find out was to stay close to one or hopefully two. Eve walked slowly and carefully, her strength still hadn't completely returned. "I want to travel with you," she said slowly. "My name is Eve."
