alicelights Such is the fate of works of writing, Wonka. (i'll speak about novel writing here, as there is still not much 'history' in webcomicry) There are many works that aren't well written... However, that oft is dismissed if the work introduces a unique or interesting idea. Tis true. It's the premise of my future sweatdrop (both me and my best friend are striving to be novelistis. Her strength is a really impressive writing style, call that in a comic, the'd have a really nice drawing style and story flow and stuff, while my stories are more driven by the unique concepts and such, call that the story of the comic. Each of them has different strengths but they both make darn good reads.) also, I knew clock work orange had a movie, but I wasn't totaly sure if it had a book. That's cool. I shall have to make a note to add that to my list of books I want to read (and then see the movie. I still would like to see that too.)- just as son as i'm done the 1000+ page book I'm on right now whee

I also haven't read it. I saw the film though. As a media student, I realised I really wanted to. I expected to be disgusted but...there is somthing very engaging about it. The actor made Alex very engaging. Stylistically, but so....compelling. I've seen it twice and I actually cried both times. It's my maternal instint. [/major off topic-ness]

It's so pupolar because the events can relate our lives. This draws in and ask ourselves "Should I do what he/she did?", "How are they going to get the money they need?", and "Do I need my own Ph34rb0t?" It could aslso be the girls that the guy like!

Personally, as an Artist my self, and trying to make a comic... I love his art, I think its imoproved alot. I love this shading style. I also like the plot. And theres things I can relate to it. I just love it...
Oh, and because Fred lives 30 minutes away too. I can stalk him once I get a car =3

I think it's so famous because of it's characters and ability to have no storyline at all.

for me on a scale of one to ten Freds are is a 9 and the script is a 10 his art mighht not be able to look the most detaled and its might not have color( bye the way most mangas are not) but its they way that he can make his drawings and carators look the way they cat brings a feel to the comic that in most mangas i cant find( plu shis dealte work is good to * look at any big gun he draws)

Yes, emo 's drawing style is unique and recognizable. I think that does help the comic. 3nodding
