BRING PIECE NOT WAR COOKIES!(Out of Character announcement) Some members of the crews of both SIN and BOO are friends and have been involved with the previous ZURG plot. That being said- it means we DO have a friendly communication. There are seasoned plotters on both sides and we want things to be fun. Things are not fun when people flame, name call, or troll one another. If FLAMMING, TROLLING, or NAME CALLING is seen by either crew, it will result on an instant BANNING on both sides. It is against GAIA'S TERMS OF SERVICE! Be glad that we're just banning instead of reporting.
If you experience trolling by SIN members, please let me know, and I will contact a SIN crew to handle it. It you're RPing with a SIN member, make sure both parties know its in RP. Quom Lintra X-P I think we just need trash thread. Some of the threads dealing with plot are just..... X-P A headache to look at. What kind of BOO R U?Ugh, don't remind me. There was a post in a thread I just moved - the context of the post is irrelevant, as it went as follows: Some Goddamn s**t I RESENT THAT! I'M NOT EMO OR 13!! I'M SCENE AND 15!!! If I wasn't galvanized to swift and merciless action beforehand, this did it for me.

...if we try and force them to play nice, we may alienate quite a few people. Let Gaia punish those who break TOS. If you all recall, the plot guilds NEVER HAVE and probably NEVER WILL run on honor or nobility, despite our best attempts. It is an exercise in futility.
What we need is simply a way to lessen the amount of illiteracy and incompetence. Mature people can deal with some... negative events, but if you have slavering masses running amok, you end up with some pretty ugly occurrences... the true test will come when the event truly starts. Until then... we don't have much to do. The mobs will continue to come, and in greater numbers.
Let's just try and hold on to the useful members and let the rest do as they will.
Oh, and yes... more crew would be nice. Perhaps.

1. A joint guild is silly. There is going to be an event forrum. That's where both sides will meet.
2. Right now, there isn't much we can do. If somebody could get ahold of an admin, maybe we could share info with the guild. For B.O.O. we could post secret messages from the Overseer. Perchance messages that need decoded. SIN could probably do the same thing (but I dunno who their messages are from). If we give them something to focus on (like puzzles) they'll have something to do and will therefore be less lame.
3. They're not going to play nice. We should give up on this notion. Ban the assholes, and threaten the others. This is a versus event, and not everyone is going to be nice.

Joint would be silly. And Fan Guilds at this point are going to be filled with what you have already been experiencing. Though I am sure in the next week or so about 20 others will pop up and divert the flow of people.
As for the idea of getting info from Admins... my thoughts are no. I really do not think that secret keeping is appropriate Plus I am pretty sure this event is one of those cut and dry 2 sides "fight " for a few days and then we (hopefully) get an ending. And maybe it will not be a predetermined one.
As for rules in Guilds. Gaia has stated that you can do what you want with them. If you wanted to ban anyone who said pineapple you could. Plus I've always been for strict order to keep things nice and neat.

As a Crew member of B.O.O, I've found that most people are only in on this because they are hyping themselves for an all-out fight. This kind of energy is good, but at the same time, we have to keep ourselves stabilized. I am going to try my best to keep B.O.O. with a high morale, but I'm definitely not going to let them go haywire with their energy.

Isn't needless griefing and verbal abuse in general against Guild rules, nyao? I seem to also recall seeing something about it in the ToS somewhere, but I could be mistaken... And as an aside, I'm worried that Hattori-san is right, and that BOO vs. SIN is going to be another major bummer like the Summer Camp fiasco was... which is why I agitate for us "Gaians" to write and submit plots ourselves--I'm sure that we can come up with stuff that's better than that summer non-event. I understand that the devs are busy with stuff other than plot (like keeping the sponsors pacified), but still, if you're going to do something, at least try to do it well, ja nai?
