While Sailor Iris might have formed an immunity to the sight of gore and sounds of pain, Sailor Metis had no such thing to draw on. Horrified by the sight before her, an age old reflex to shut her eyes kicked in, her hands over her ears to try and block out the sounds. The cries were only dulled, but the sights? She might have maintained some reflexes from when she had her natural, physical vision as a child, but now... this, this... mental sight... she couldn't block it. The Minotaur's flailing figure was still visible, the black aura flaring and spiraling around the white energy that was Iris' attack. She could see the gore, the black energy even stronger from it.

This wasn't like that pond scum thing she'd last seen, this thing actually had a body, pain receptors... it was a living creature, wasn't it? Shaking, she dropped her hands, moving over to stand behind the other Scout. If just the strength of one was making this a slow, painful process... she grabbed the other's wrists, adding her weight and strength into the lasso around the thing's neck. She had no idea if she could even grab the ribbon, but this didn't seem like the time to bother asking.

The creature began to roar all the louder, the smell of burning flesh and fur assaulting her nose and making her gag. More of the liquid was falling, the youma's aura flickering madly as if it too was trying to struggle to get away. As it tried to grab at the ribbon, only to increase its now choked yells as the ribbon burned is hand, Metis could feel the remaining barrier of flesh starting to fall. She pulled tighter on Iris' arms, hoping both to make this end now and to not injure the other girl.

It was almost over. Just a little more, and it would be done. Surely, even if the thing could grab hold of the ribbon... it wouldn't survive that kind of injury.

"Come on, this ribbon won't last ferever... just keel over already..." she grunted, unaware Sailor Metis had somewhat snuck up behind her. Delicate hands had managed to grab a hold onto her arms, which initially surprised Sailor Iris. Yet when she looked, she found the Sailor Scout that had more than saved her butt there, attempting to help.

With their combined strength, the Youma's head ceased to make noise as it was sliced cleanly off. It fell with a heavy thud against the ground, the sickly expression of the dead cow-like face with its tongue hanging out wobbling a bit before it ceased movement.

In two seconds after the cut, the ribbon flickered and vanished. Sighing out, Iris couldn't help but point out "Wheeew... that was a close one." She wiped her brow with the hand that had been initially holding onto the ribbon. With a bit of a chuckle, she added "Think I'm gonna need t'get some sort of chiropractor t'take a look at m'back later..." However, in her mind, she was figuring she could con Jared into giving her a back rub or something of the sort. She knew how to play him on occasion, and this would be an appropriate occasion.

For a moment, she stopped dwelling on her own injuries, then asked "You okay, Metis?" She looked the girl over thoroughly, noting that it apparently was possible to have a girlier outfit that the one Sailor Iris was wearing. Why did all these Sailor uniforms have to be so gay?! Other than this, Metis seemed to be okay.

Her attention was split, both on helping the other scout in pulling, and watching the youma's aura. Yes, at last, the ribbon cut through, and the aura, in one last, wild flail, flickered and flicked out. The creature was dead, but she didn't need to see its aura to tell that much. Instantly she turned away from the decapitated head as she let her hands drop to her side, willing her stomach to settle and calm.

It wouldn't be very good for her to upchuck now, now would it?

She offered a breathless smile to Sailor Iris' pointing out the obvious, paying minimal attention to something about a chiropractor. "A nice long soak in a warm bath sound pretty good to me," she stated simply, letting her mind fill with the memory of the lilac bubble bath soap, the sensation of warm water enveloping her. Oh how she couldn't wait for that to be a reality.

Taking a small respectful step back, she realized she had actually been addressed. Turning back, she took in the strong copper glowing figure, noting the silver tendrils that snaked around within it. So strange.... "I'm alright. A little uneasy, but I'll get used to it." It wasn't till after she spoke that she realized her words could be taken a few different ways. Now to figure which way is the best, considering. "And you? You mentioned a chiropractor, but otherwise..?" She could see some detail in the aura, like the general design of the fuku, but couldn't tell if she wasn't seeing any serious injuries because there were none or if her "sight" wasn't clear enough to see them.

Something occurred to her then though, making her brow raise slightly. "Oh... if you don't mind me asking... who are you?" How strange. Fight a monster with someone, and it doesn't really matter if they're a scout or Bob. Once the creature's dead though... some normal behavior was hard to forget.

Sailor Iris laughed as she announced "Mr. Ugly b*tchslapped me with a huge chunk of metal. My back is killin' me!" The laugh was a strangely confident one, and the scout didn't even seem remotely hurt by her mannerisms. However, one thing about being a tomboy was you were about as stubborn as a male when it came to injuries. You were never injured, and things never really hurt or in pain.

She was hurting like hell, but taking it like a champion.

It was then that the infamous question was asked. "Eh... Sailor Iris..." she half tossed out, not certain which way she had meant the question. As a delayed thought, she realized she didn't want to stick around to supply an answer for if this scout had meant the other "Who are you?"

Ducking out, she called out a friendly "See ya around, kiddo!" Before the girl could really respond, Sailor Iris, also known as Ellie, hightailed it out of the park. Last thing she needed were mobs of people harassing her about being a terrorist.

Such a pity though. She really wanted to play more with Raja. Fate was determined to keep Ellie away from dogs it would seem. Oh well, another time maybe she thought.

The brunette senshi listed with a frown, concern marring her features. If she was injured, why wasn't she acting... like an injured person should? It was perplexing and confusing, but... she kept her mouth shut, figuring it wasn't her place again to baby the other scout. If someone wasn't going to ask for help, she knew from her own experience it most likely meant it wasn't wanted.

At least she had a name to call the mysterious other! "Nice to meet you then, Iris-" but before she could go further with the pleasantries... she was a little startled to see the copper and silver figure quickly called out a quick farewell and bolted. "...I think," was her then unheard finish, not sure if she should be more shocked or offended at this. Shaking her head, she caught sight of faint simple copper in the distance, wincing. People were coming back. Time to take her leave as well.

A brisk job brought her back to the trees without any difficulties, finding Raja and her belongings untouched and well. The dog barked happily, sniffing the strange uniform before giving a rather comical sneeze. Metis giggled, casting a lingering glance in the direction Sailor Iris ran. Would she cross paths with this other scout again? And what about that Ellie girl? Surely she got away alright, but she couldn't help but wonder what the chances were she'd ever stumble upon those two in a city like this one.

"Well... at least it's a reasonably small park, right, Raja?"
