Fao's ears lowered a bit. "Nah, I donnae think me childhood would be as good fae kids t' hear about." His ears went up a bit. "Though, you could write about tha' but wi' them. Just think a kid book wi' a blind hero would be sorta inspirin', maybe."

"It would," Ellandra said softly, but I'm not sure I could write about it in a way that would truly capture it. Perhaps when Sam's a bit older, I might be more able to understand what I need to in order to write about it all."

"No rush on writin' th' books really," Faolan chuckled shifting around to get comfortable as his wife's pillow.

Ellandra moved around herself until she was fully on top of Faolan. "Yes, I'll worry about that later. . . for now, go back to reading the story? Your voice is so much better than mine."

"I doubt it's better," Faolan chuckled, smiling a bit. He couldn't help being a little turned on by his wife laying on him, but he was determined to finish the story, whether the twin understood it or not.

"Go on," Ellandra said, snuggling down and moving her head until she was pillowing it on Faolan's shoulder rather than his head. "I like hearing you read."

"Why e'er fae?" Faolan asked, looking back at her. He really didn't get the appeal at all.

Ellandra blinked, and leaned against Faolan's head, whispering into his ear, "Because your voice is wonderful to hear. The babies think so too."

"They like it 'cause it's deeper. Tha's all," Fao said, shrugging. He tilted his head back against hers, closing his eyes a moment, then leaned back down to read more of the book to the twins.

Ellandra shook her head, snuggling closer to Faolan. "No, Faolan, your voice is absolutely wonderful, and. . . well, it's warm, it's just impossible to describe," the brunette said, while at the same time knowing that Faolan probably wasn't going to believe her any time soon.
Rhian, sensing that things were getting pretty private here, took Bert and left the room, Contessa following at her heels.

Faolan just shrugged. He believed her, he just didn't really get it. "Your voice is pretty warm, too." He moved around to roll onto his back so he could hug Elle against him. "Like hearin' you talk."

Ellandra squeaked and reached around the best she could to stroke Fao's ears lightly. "I don't have half the voice you do though, and I just talk like nearly everyone else. It's rather dull of me, really."

Faolan's eyes closed at the ear stroking, a grin starting to tug at his lips. He sighed softly, arching up under his wife. "La, woman, you know what tha' does t' me."

Faolan just pulled his wife to him for kisses.

Zia came in, skirtsing around the living room. It didn't have to go in to confirm what those noises meant. Heading upstairs, it poked its head into Rhian's room. "How's the studying coming along?"
