Near change Kurotsuki into Fuuton, using it to split the chakra wave in half easily. He met Toan and his scythe, matching him with the large weapon to his thin wind Katana. "Funny...I think of myself of just about the same way." Near waved his empty fist in front of Toan's face, knewing that he would follow it through the wind. A second later and Near's sword fist would be lodged in his face.

Near flexed his way left of the kick, making it miss him. As he was setting hhis foot down, Near swung his hardened ice elbow straight to Toan's nose.

Near used his free waving hand to push away Toan's kick. He used his left leg to round house Toan in the head.

((My free hand is the left one. I used my right (sword hand) to elbow you.))

Near simply held his sword out and blocked the incoming wave. In a split second, he changed Kurotsuki into pipe form, and shouted, "Raikou Koori no Jutsu! (Lightning Ice Technique)" The supercooled water appeared on his wrist, with the growing ice cycle. Near inserted Kurotsuki and aimed at Toan at his throat.
Sonic boom. If Toan didn't move, he would be impaled at the throat instantly.

Raikou Koori No Jutsu [Lightning Ice Technique]
Description: Forming a highly intensified ball of water infront of their hand, the Snow-nin begins to compact the ice into a perfectly formed icicle about the length of a kunai. When the kunai is formed the supercooled water behind it releases all of its pressure behind the kunai sending it at a speed so fast that it cannot be seen. The result of this pressure being released is a loud sonic boom. This kunai can travel for about four miles before it is stopped completely and cannot be redirected once fired. Needless to say that anything caught in it's path will be most unfortunate.

Unluckly for Kaiza, the bird was blown straight out of the air, due to the sonic boom that followed the jutsu. Near stood still. He slowly opened his eyes, both red, one with the pupil faded out, and the other with a dog's glare. Kurotsuki flew back into his hands. He grinned as Stage 1 was completed.

Near's bloodline, Hanamaru's, allowed him to see Toan's shift in chakra. The flames doused out and turned into ice. Near jumped onto the nearest one and ran up torwards Toan. "How many times do I have to tell you?" Near asked, as he holstered Kurotsuki and swirling chakra appeared on his left hand. "I'm..." Rasengan, complete. What sounded like birds appeared on his right. "not..." Chidori, complete. He was one yard in front of him. "NEAR!!!"

Chidori (Thousand Birds)
Description: The only original technique of Konoha’s legendary Hatake Kakashi, the user focuses an enormous amount of chakra into one hand, so much that it becomes visible and emits a chirping noise like the sound of a thousand birds. The shinobi runs towards his enemy and thrusts quickly to cut through him, and the jutsu is indeed so powerful that it is rumored to be able to halve even a lightning bolt. However, because the user is moving so fast to attack, he is unable to detect any counterattacks executed by the enemy, so it is ideal to use Chidori in tandem with another technique that can alert the user to counters, such as a doujutsu.

Rasengan (Spiraling Sphere)
Description: Developed by Yondaime Hokage and later adopted by Uzumaki Naruto as one of his signature techniques, Rasengan forms a spiral sphere of compact chakra in the palm of the user’s hand. It does not look like much, but it packs a tremendously uber punch, capable of blowing out holes in metal and blasting enemies through most surfaces, whether they be walls, ceilings, or rocks. In addition to the severe knockback power this possesses, the Rasengan is capable of dealing internal damage, making it a very valuable jutsu.
