Pepper shifted again his claws seemed to scrap against the linoleum floor causing little scratches showing his discomfort. Sure he supposed Luthor had a good reason for leaving. But he wasn't bitter because he left...he was angry cause he left without him.
Currently he wasn't in the best of moods to be cashing techs, normaly he could bounce back from moods like this...but the conversation had lasted too long for him to just ignore it now.
"Yeah, that'd be cool.." he stated as he ran a hand through his hair. He seemed distracted now but he moved closer to Cairan looking a bit unsure before he stared at the floor.
".....Can..I chew on you for a bit? Luthor always let me..I miss him.."

Ciaran did see his discomforts but he really didn't know what he could do, but at least Pepper wanted him to come and visit him when Ciaran had the time and go scareing with him and learn somethings as well.
"Sure you can," he said as he didn't know what else and he wanted his new friend to feel better. But at least now his magic had now disapated into the air much to Ciaran's releafe as he didn't want to hurt Pepper with it.

Pepper moved in close to Ciaran he looked at the boy and then after a moments hesitation wrapped his arms around him and then proceeded to chew on his ear lightly. He hand his hands loosely around his back, he didn't want to risk hurting him, which seemed a contradiction as he was chewing on his ear...but really he didn't want to draw blood.
After a couple of long silent minutes of nibbling he withdrew looking a lot more placid than before. He offered Ciaran a small smile.
"Thanks, I don't know why but it often helps me calm down.." He explained.

As Pepper was chewing his ear is wasn't as bad as he thought it was going to be. It was very different but not all that bad. He could think of a lot of things that felt a whole lot worse.
"Your welcome and I'm glad that I could help," he replied as he thought that the chewing was something like how he liked it when his friends gave him hugs it always make him feel better.

Pepper nodded his head and then wasn't sure what he should say now. Should he leave? That..would be rude...to chew on him like a chew toy and then just leave him here.
"So...why are you here again?" he asked his memory like a siv he couldn't recal if they had already had this conversation before.

Ciaran just purred slightly as it was nice to being close contact with a friend. "Well at first I didn't know, but I'm going to hang out with you." he replied as he didn't mind a repeat of the conversation. "But are you up maybe scareing up some techs. I could flush them out and you could pounce on them unspectly," he said "Also are there places you like to visit outside of the labs?" he added as Ciaran didn't know if Pepper had been outside.

He thought on it, he wasn't really up for chasing techs at the moment, though the idea of hanging out was a interesting prospect. Blinking at Cairan he rolled his shoulders and looked behind himself. They could wander a bit outside. Maybe fresh air would help get him out of the funk he was in.
"Let's get outta here, the techs are annoying me right now." he stated as he half turned to lead the way.

"Ok, that sounds like a good idea," he replied as it was a nice day outside and it wasn't all that cold as well. "So is anywere you would like to go?" Ciaran asked as there were many places that he could take Pepper, but he would wait to see if there was a spiffic place the other spawn would like to go as he tail wag slowly back and forth as he thought.

Pepper seemed to just be in that sort of funk, after the topic of Luthor was brought up it seemed he couldn't focus on anything or was doing his best to try and distrct himself but scratching at the rocky like things on his face and arms like they itched.
"Yeah lets just go hang out outside.." he muttered as he strode forward without waiting for Ciaran to agree with his choosen destination.

"Sounds fine by me," he replied as Ciaran followed Pepper outside. "Also we could climb some trees too," he added as he thought it would be fun and it had been sometime since he had climbed any.

Pepper looked over his shoulder to the gray skinned kid who suggest they climb trees he smiled,
"Yeah that sounds good. I love climbing," he replied honestly as they continued to walk downt he hall and eventually be led outside.
Stepping into the cooler air he took a breath and then headed for the best climbing tree. It was closest to the gates so he liked viewing the world from out there.
He pointed to the choosen spot and then jogged over to it and immediately begane to climb.

Smileing back as he knew he wasn't the greatest at climbing but at least it would be fun and a nice view too. So Ciaran just followed Pepper out of the building and out to the grounds.
Breathing in the cool air was nice as it alway seamed to him that it was always felt stuffy in the Labs.
Sorta following close behind Pepper, but not as fast went up to the tree. Takeing a few seconds to find a good ways for him to climb up the tree, but wasn't very graceful at doing so and got a few scrapes too.

Pepper was probably as graceful as he cuold manage...like a drunk squirrel. The poor tree's bark was marked and marred with scratches and claw marks from his hands from the many previous times he had climbed the tree.
Finding the strongest limb he perched on it watching as Ciaran climbed a bit more slowly behind him.
"Hey.. you know you remind me of someone..." He called down.

Finally getting up to a limb that was near Pepper that would hold his weight and was just a little smaller but then Ciaran didn't weigh all that much. As he was climbing he did see all the scar marks on the tree and saw that Pepper really like this tree. Ciaran wished that he could climb a tree better but that he kept to himself.
"So who do I remind you of?" he asked wondering who it might be as he was getting a little more confortable in the tree and try not to shock anyone.

Squinting the red skinned boy tried to recal just WHOM Ciaran reminded him of.
"I think...there was someone at the labs for a while...I never spoke with him...but the techs talked about him all the time. I got a glimpse of him once when they brought him in...not sure what happened to him though." He stated with a shrug. It wasn't important information but he felt that it needed to be said for some reason.
"SO can i see your place from here?"
