Mm, I was thinking about letting polls decide because that way we can have people vote and then like.... Yeah. Not have to worry about sore feelings between users. I'm not huge on pumpkin carving myself but I remember my old room mate would stink up our room in the fall because she loved it to pieces! Ha. Yama and I may have to get our hands on a pumpkin here. smile

Okay, good point Mugoi. I was thinking about that sort of thing myself actually since there wouldn't be any real way to monitor that sort of thing...especially since when people start to feel excluded they won't think twice about labeling us as unwelcoming and then we have a bad reputation on our hands.

Everything sounds like a good plan~!
Letting people decide the best tekteks using polls is a good idea so no one will have to be a judge. Everyone can enter.
I think keeping the tektek contest in the guild would be better, so we won't get random people who are in only for the goodies. I mean, that's nice and all, but getting people to stay is much more worthwhile. However, to get new recruits we could put a link to the guild's Halloween event threads in our sigs or mention it in a post style.
