"Talking...doors?" Des asked. He stared at the little device and then shrugged, going to his own door. "Ah...hello here. Can you tell me what my room number is?"

The door did not respond. It took several tries before he realized that Asaiyo has possibly read this information somewhere . He noted a small sign but he couldn't read the damn thing. The symbols were all weird. "Graaah!"

Des kicked the door and snatched up the device. "I'll find you! I can sense Angela's magic so I'll just follow that!" He threw the thing across the room and left quickly, closing his eyes and allowing his magic to reach out and find Angela's. Stupid, weird machines. It was as bad as being in Mechanus.

Angela blinked when the line went dead. She felt the faint tendrils of Des' magic touch and lock on to hers and she grimaced. "Ugh."

She flopped back onto her bed. "I suppose we should wait for him to find us though it makes me wonder if anyone else we know is here. How on earth did he even manage to call us on that thing, I can't imagine."

Angela took the bag of money and peered inside. "It does look rather odd," she said. "And Des won't have a problem finding me." She stretched her hand out along the imaginary line that connected their magics. "He's already found me. Now it'll just be like following a thread through a labyrinth. If he gets lost, it's because he wants to."

She looked back toward the window. "If Zen really is the one who brought us here, I'm going to kick his sorry arse. He knows I don't really care for water."

Des was wandering around, fascinated. He'd never been to a place like this before. It was so...so...shiny. And strange. He kept part of his mind focused on the thread leading him to Angela but otherwise, he was staring around wide eyed at all the new things he was seeing.

"And that means that Ky brought us here and not that Zen is a lying idiot, why?" Angela asked, lifting an eyebrow. Though she really didn't believe Zen would lie or had lied. She was mostly just needing someone to snark at and Asaiyo was a prime target.

Des finally made his way down a long corridor lined with doors, at the end of which was where his connection to Angela ended. He started singing as he walked, strolling casually down. He hadn't seen another person the whole time. Quite boring.

When he reached their door, He knocked three times. He tried to throw it open and jump in to catch them doing something naughty but the door was locked. So no luck there.

He started pounding. "Quit making out and open the door!" he yelled.

"I'm a...daughter of a prince," Angela said. "And frankly there are times I wish my people would disappear."

She flinched at the sudden noise coming from outside and laughed a bit when Asaiyo opened the door and Des stumbled into him. "Oh. Hi weird haired prince whose name escapes me," Des said with a grin. "I hope I'm not interrupting..."

"What took you so long?" Angela demanded.

"Why would I get lost. I just followed the trail of bread crumbs so to speak." Des looked around. "I don't mean to be a bother but...do either of you know how we came to be here?"

"Ah no," Angela said. "No I don't. We suspect Zen. Or Ky. It generally seems safe to assume they're involved."

"You say that like we're not already wearing clothes," Angela said. "But at any rate, we should find people. And find out why we're here--not that expect them to know."

"Then how do you propose we find out?" Des asked.

"We'll have to wait for Zen, Ky or whoever brought us here to show up and tell us why or we'll have to piece it together from what we learn on our own," Angela said. "Either way, we should probably leave the room for now. We won't learn anything staying here."

Angela and Des followed after Asaiyo and reluctantly stepped inside the elevator.

"Just please don't push the wrong thing and send us plummeting to our deaths," Angela said. "That would be quite irritating."

"Quite," Des agreed.

"I don't...really remember," Angela said. "Sleeping I think."

"Same for me," Des said. "I remember falling asleep and then waking up here."

"What about you?" Angela asked, stepping forward as the door opened. She really wasn't sure what she was going to see. Hopefully something that would be helpful in determining what was going on here.
