Tarik turned his attention to where the cub described her pride to be, committing it to memory so he could come back and find her should he happen to be in the mood to demonstrate his powers. "Seems like someone you'd be proud to have as a mother," he replied almost painfully. He didn't have parents of his own, after all. At least none that he could recall. "Right, well I think it's about time you head home, don't you think? If you come back the day after tomorrow, to this same spot, I'll show you what I can do with my powers. How's that?"

Amaranta looked up at the sky studying the sun, Tarik was right it was getting on in the day and it was going to be harder and harder for her to get back into the colony lands without being noticed, and if she waited much longer she would be late for her training with her mother, and man would she be in trouble for that.
"Yes I suppose you could say I am proud of my mother." Amaranta said quickly in response, truth be told Amaranta didn't have many feelign abotu her mother manly because she barely knew her mother as a leopardess, her mom was just a trainer, someone who was angered by the cubs lack of ability. "I should go though, I will try to come back and meet you agian. You are very interesting and I think I would liek to learn more from you." she offered Tarik a smile in thanks.

Tarik nodded as the cub hurried back to her home, keeping an eye on her until she disappeared behind the trees that marked the border of the colony she spoke of. Once she was out of sight the male stood up and made his way to...somewhere else. He'd be back, like he said he would, two days from now, but until then he'd probably wander aimlessly for a good while. Before that though - sleep, and hopefully lots of it. He began to search for a suitable place to sleep, preferably a nice, shaded area with some water nearby. Simply thinking of sleep began to make his eyes droop, so without any hesitation he lifted off into the sky, eyes peering down at the land beneath him, keeping a lookout for his next ideal place to rest.
