Oh, okay. I normally try to add the simpler, more common items with the expensive ones since a lot of people on Gaia still think that you need to have items that break the bank to have a "good" avatar.
Well, if you need any help on how everything layers, I'll be happy to help. ;D

Spent part of the day hanging with my brother, going up to the comic shop and whatnot. As soon as I get done opening my wave 10 DC Classics figures ( with the Kenner Super Powers version of Mantis sad ) and my Earth-22 Batman figure (Kingdom Come) I will start sketching.

Lucky. stare I wish I had a true comic shop where I live. The closest thing I have to one is Walden books at the nearest mall. Other than that, I have the internet, but that can't substitute actually being able to look through comics in person and talking to others about the newest comics out. Damn this small town and it's lack of culture! *shakes fist at sky* Lol.

It caters to everyone and doesn't shy away from independent labels. Would have been a little more happy if they would had some of their Green Lantern Blackest Night figures in.

Oh, well, nevermind, then. Lol. I've never seen the Blackest Night figures out for sale ANYWHERE. I only know of them because of the Comic Con coverage on G4. They look really freaking amazing, though, and I'm not into the Green Lantern. So, that's saying a lot. Lol.

Revol Si Onhcet Autobot Spent part of the day hanging with my brother, going up to the comic shop and whatnot. As soon as I get done opening my wave 10 DC Classics figures ( with the Kenner Super Powers version of Mantis sad ) and my Earth-22 Batman figure (Kingdom Come) I will start sketching. Cool D: *goes to play with his Harley action figure now* The DC Classic wave 2 Harley? I can't say I am a fan of the DC Classic female sculpts. They look like a swift breeze would snap them. Made for a gawd awful Wonder Woman figure. I substituted an Alex Ross WW on my shelf. At least she has meat on the bones. I would like to see a Harley figure based off of Terry Dobson's style. They used his art for the last Wonder Woman comic figures and they looked nice. Sketched for both of your avatars tonight. I have tomorrow off so I will do some more then. Hopefully I will have a rough sketch or two that I can show at the least. Your characters are androgynous. That pink one were you using the male body with the girl hair? None of the avatars seem to have the female avatar cleavage.

Trialis When you're done with your current two, I'd love character art =3 I will pile their info on you when you're ready ;D Sure, but it may be a little bit yet. I have a habit of going through a bunch of sketching before I even figure out what I want to do. So I tend to be a little slower sometimes.

2nd draft sketch. To be able to put the hat on the head and have the horns it pretty much has to be a straight on view of the face and even then you have to have suspension of disbelief that the horns and the hat would work together. So I am just going to let the horns kind of float out there instead of the hat sitting back. I think it works better the other way around when you are dealing in pixels. I know I need to probably bow the horns out more on the inside, but I wanted to see how the shape looked if the front on view made the inside curve of the horns looked straight from a head on view. Arms have to be worked out as well. I have the shoulders too far out so I will pull out my lightbox and do some fixing if this is the sketch looks ok to you. For Revol I am also figuring out what I want to do. The avatar suggests that there should be movement so I might use this sketch to get used to the character.

YEEEESSSSSSS~ It's amazing, of course, and I love how you made it look like the horns fit there so perfectly, but, like you said, it wouldn't really seeing how far the monk's hat juts out from the head. I love it. ;D

Lower rez WIP. Just laying down the flats. Will have a backlight, though that background is just there for contrast right now. Same with border color.

Woah, that's so cool Bot! I love how you gave the picture a feeling of epic kick-assery.
No worries about taking a long time, I'm quite happy to float around and wait =3

No worries about taking a long time, I'm quite happy to float around and wait =3 Well, there will be lighting on him which will help pull some drama if goes right. Don't know about epic kick-assery though. Does the colors look washed out or just light? I color on my Cintique and it has a different brightness to it then what my laptop does. So I can't tell which is more accurate. The background colors should be more early evening then daytime.
