"i love being on vacation..." Charlie wandered alone for a bit, just relaxing, she left her guitar at home for once and just meandered from shop to shop. At the edge of the city, near the gates, Charlie could see something moving, taking a closer look she saw it was Gwin Amauld, King Rupert's loyal pet, with some some of his other goons. Feeling bold, she approached them, "hey there miss amauld" she said casually studying the group, "where are you fine vamps going tonight?" she knew it was potentially dangerous to get in their way, but she was human once, if they were going out of the kingdom she'd have to do...who knows but something! "That Werewolf and Werecat city is really acting up isnt it?, their hunts are getting closer and closer to the city" she gazed at Gwin, trying to pierce through those reddened glassy orbs into her head.

【 ɢ ω ι и ❈ α м α υ ℓ ∂】 ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Hours have passed since the search started and the night wasn't growing any younger. Gwin and the other vampires had been searching for this elf for hours with no avail. She had to bring the elf back to her Savior fast before another sunrise was to come. "Where is this elf? She couldn't have ran far from here, if she left only just this evening." Gwin thought.
But just as she was thinking of what to do next as the other vampires were waiting for the next order, she heard, "Hey there Miss Amauld."in a mocking voice. She immediately turns around to see the infamous Charlie Burk standing in front of her. Gwin heard of her and even listened to a couple of her music before, but was never very fond of the loud type of music she played.
"Where are you fine vamps going tonight?" Charlie asked. It was obvious to Gwin that she was looking for answers, but Gwin would never release anything that would ever harm her Savior and a young rock star had no necessity to get a hold of this kind of information anyways.
Except before she could reply. One of the vampires she sent out with her tapped her on the shoulder. She leaned her head towards the vampire to hear the information more clearly.
"Miss Amuald, nearby residence says to have spotted an elf last evening at the slave markets. Apparently she bought two children, a boy and a girl with blue eyes. After that they said that she left bolting out of the city." It was good to finally hear some information. It was time to head out. She turned back to Charlie who was still standing there waiting for her answer.
"We are on urgent business, Miss Charlie Burk. It'd be best if you take your leave now and let us be on our way."Gwin slightly bowed before turning back to head towards the slave market and out the of the city walls. She could probably use a human bait as well. To lure this elf out.
Right before she left the city she bought a young child who was an age no more of six at the slave market. The child was terrified, but quietly and obediently followed as Gwin and the vampires left the city walls to catch the elf.

stare She didn't know what to think about that answer, so as anybody stuck at the end of adolescence would she followed Gwin and her crew. Shedding off the stylish parts of her attire, Charlie drew up all the courage within her and stormed after them. Getting outside the city was never hard, it was getting through the forest that was difficult. Her tumbling and bumbling caught the attention of Oshua, who was more than happy to harp on her for being a nosy and loud vampire pop star.
"Oshua shut up for one minute and listen to me! Gwin Amauld is on her way the Blood Fetish Brigade to get your precious desert elf and if they find her you untained ones are in danger."
Taken back by her outburst, he did nothing, "NOW OSHUA!" charlie hissed, "before i suck you dry myself!" she bared her teeth as an empty threat to get him moving. And he moved, not before adding a "wait, what part of me are you going to suck?"to the conversation.
Taking her leave, Charlie ran into the one person she hoped to avoid at that point. Gwin again. She held her breath and slowly pulled away into the density of the trees, trying to hold her scent close to her body instead of all over the forest like it was.

【 ɢ ω ι и ❈ α м α υ ℓ ∂】 ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ The forest was dense and unruly. Without the moon lighting the way, all would be dark. There was precautions to be taken outside of the city walls. Gwin and the others were on full alert. Especially with a human at hand, they had to take even more precautions of an attack from werewolves and werecats.
"Damn forest,"Genevieve thought. The child was already becoming a burden because she was already tiring quickly and it did not help Genevieve that the forest was not siding with them either.
As Gwin and the other vampire continue through their treacherous walk. Gwin thought she felt something and ignored it at first, but after a good period of time Gwin knew something wasn't right. They were not alone. Without turning around, she signaled everyone to a stop.
"My dear, you are quite a persistent pest now aren't you? If you have such bravery to follow us, why not show yourself? It does not do us any good to have our little guest just trailing like that. Join us, my dear?" Genevieve with a faint smirk.

Oshua mounted his post with the archers, who were more than happy to fire at some unwelcome guests as they passed. The group paused, the obvious leader with a raised hand. Her voice carried softly up to their position, "My dear, you are quite a persistent pest now aren't you? If you have such bravery to follow us, why not show yourself? It does not do us any good to have our little guest just trailing like that. Join us, my dear?"
They looked amongst themselves, they didn't follow the vampires, who was she talking to? Perhaps she meant the scouts and archers? Whatever, she knows we're here, might as well make a scene he thought, a smug grin unfolding upon his lips. Oshua tossed a smoke bomb into the air above the vampires, the archer to his right shot it with deadly aim, covering the blood suckers with a thick smoke designed to disorient even the keenest of vampires within moments. Unknowingly covering Charlie as well.
The archers, with their faces hidden by old gas masks and night vision scopes, fired into the cloud, taking out anything that moved within. They've never been able to test the poison arrows on a vampire, this seemed like the perfect opportunity to. According to the village scientists it should take them out for at least a few hours when accompanied with the smoke, this would be the test of it all.

【 ɢ ω ι и ❈ α м α υ ℓ ∂】 ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Gwin thought she had it all handled, but she spoke too soon. Suddenly, from out of the air, smoke bombs came raining down on Gwin and her crew.
"s**t!!! We're being ambushed! Everyone scatter! I'll handle the child." Gwin said as she dashed to grab the fainted child that she had bought earlier the night at the market and jumped upward towards the top of the tree. Except as she got closer to the top, arrows began shooting down. Gwin needed the child for her elf catch and attempted to block out the arrows as she held the child in one hand and her dagger with another.
When she finally reached the top, she realized that some of her crew members were already hit and she wasn't any better and had been scathed slightly on her right arm.
"Crap! I've been hit by a poison arrow!" Gwin thought as she felt a slight surge of weakness growing in her. These people were obviously against the vampires, but they were not the elves, the werewolves, or the werecats. They were the humans. Holding a child and only had one more choice. She put her dagger towards the fainted child's throat.
"I have a child in my hand. If you would like to shoot then go ahead because you will only bring this child down with me. Thanks to you bunch of lovelies, you have finally put her to sleep from your smoke." Gwin said mockingly as she looked down to the fainted child. For a moment, the child's face reminded her of when she was young. It was so young, but a shame for it to die so soon. Gwin looked back up while continuing to hold the dagger at the child's throat. "How about this? I will offer you a trade. This human child who is unharmed at the moment for your pretty little elf?"

Dire...
When Oshua left with the archers she followed in tow, scared but set. The battle waged before her eyes and she found her chance to save another human, at the expense of herself. Before Oshua had a chance to object, she had pushed him out of her way and into the vampire's sight, her mouth covered to not inhale the smoke. "you want me oh devilish one. come and get me." she drew her bow and set it. "put the child down." her heart pounded loudly, but she had to do it. i will kill this creature myself if the smoke doesn't take her life. Suddenly a grin unfolded upon Dire's face "This will be fun, won't it oh thirsty one?"

【 ɢ ω ι и ❈ α м α υ ℓ ∂】 ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Gwin smirked, "My, my, my dear. After searching for you all night. You finally show your face. So you are the infamous elf, that King Rupert has requested your presence for. You should be honored." She slightly tilted her head while looking back at the child. Gwin would've loved to fight the elf but she had to make a change of plans to her battle she was growing a bit weaker again and she needed to get the elf back as soon as possible. She was not fit for battle.
She looked back up with a stern look in her eyes, "I requested for a trade not a battle. I have the child in my hand and I have nowhere to put her. Now you don't want her to be going back down to the smoke, do you?" Gwin smirked again and speaking in a kindly voice again."I'll repeat this one more time. Follow me back to the castle obediently and this child shall not be harmed. Make a wrong move and she'll be dead." This time Gwin pressed her dagger slightly into the child's neck letting a small stream of blood flow out, showing that she meant business. Her fangs were beginning to grow and she just realized her thirst, but she had to hold it at least until she finished this mission for her Savior.

Against her will, she lowered her bow, dropping it to the ground. "hand the child over first. I can't escape with all the smoke, but the humans can." she pulled her hood down, praying for that child's safety. She shared a look with Oshua and reached out for the child. "I won't come without her safely in their hands, if anything happens to her i will kill you."

"NO DIRE DON'T!!!" she couldn't help herself, she emerged from the foliage with a look of fear, fully aware that she had just given herself away as an ally to the humans. Thinking quickly she dove for the child, accidentally taking Gwin as well to the ground, the smoke just thin enough for the vampires to breathe. the child tumbled from their hands into the underbrush with Charlie sent into a young tree. Stars danced before her eyes, GET. UP. her teeth set she looked over at Gwin on the ground with her. The blood from the child made her salivate and elongated her fangs and nails fiercely, much more than normal. Her heart became riddled with fear and confusion as her muscles became taut and ready to spring. was she having a reaction to the smoke and the smell of blood? It reminded her so much of the hunters Del Rey sends out... Whatever it was she prepared to use her new found strength and defend the humans and dire as much as she could.

【 ɢ ω ι и ❈ α м α υ ℓ ∂】 ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Gwin was falling. The child was missing from her hands. She almost got the elf a minute ago. Why was she falling now? She looked up it was her. "THAT PEST!!! IT WAS YOU!!!" She sneered.
She fell with a thump. It hurt, but she couldn't let a small pain ruin her from the duty for her Savior and immediately got to her feet. Something wasn't right with Charlie and she needed to make plans fast. "Find the child and get back to the castle. Report to the King of our situation." Gwin ordered to her men.
"I should've handled you earlier, you pest!"She scoffed as she started to walk towards Charlie, with her daggers in her hand. "You just messed with the wrong vampire." Gwin glared. She ran towards Charlie and gave her a hard kick to the face and knocked her back to the ground. Gwin quickly pinned her down with Charlie's face towards the ground. She pushed her face down and immediately put her dagger to Charlie's throat."You are quite a menace. Didn't I tell you to leave US to our buisness earlier, but it's much too late to do that now. Traitors to our Great King like you shall die."Gwin was prepared to slit her throat at any moment. This was treason to her Savior and she couldn't let tratiors get away.

Silently, Dire leaped from the tree and snatched the child before the vampires could reach her, using her own body as a shield as their hands tore at her flesh. With a powerful jump she dove into the trees and started running.

With her face in the ground she growled softly, "he's your king, not mine. I was human once so i will ALWAYS defend the humans. You know full well that slitting my throat will not do anything. Why. Even. Try?" Charlie bit her lip and pushed herself up, trying to knock Gwin off her. She cursed loudly and clawed the ground beneath her. "GET OFF ME!" an arrow whizzed by her face, striking the ground mere inches from her face, she looked up where it came from, a voice called out to her... "sorry charlie!" Another smoke bomb was deployed just above her and gwin

【 ɢ ω ι и ❈ α м α υ ℓ ∂】 ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ As she held down Charlie. She watch the child carried away by the elf. Her men stood there unsure of what else to do, but follow. She knew those vampires were no match for the elf, she had to follow, but before she could think of anything else. A smoke bomb fell from the sky.
"NO!!!" She leap from Charlie and went after the Elf, but it was already too late. She couldn't see and her senses weren't strong enough in the smoke. She lost them. She could only hope that the vampires would catch her themselves. The elf... she had failed her Savior. She was suppose to catch that elf herself! What else could she do? Her Savior was surely going to be so ever disappointed to her return empty handed, but she had no choice. It was time to report back to her King. She couldn't face killing the traitor still lying on the floor and slowly dragged herself to her feet as she walked back towards the city walls as her companions continued to follow in the opposite direction.

She returned to the Village, child in hand, but didn't stay for the celebrations. Dire knew the only way to protect the humans was to get to gwin before she reached the city, with the moon at full zenith she marched back into the forest, tired, hungry, but determined. Where is that woman...? Curse those silent feet![i/] anger and disappointment reigned supreme in her heart as she tumbled on down the mountain toward the city. Truly an upsetting place to be, the valley was hardly the safe place to build a city...then again Rupert didn't intend on having to defenht went off in her head, she spun and looked up where the village was. "we have the higher ground." a small flutter of hope sprang in her chest, but she kept it down, hopefully Nora and Oshua would dawn upon her own thoughts and plan what she was planning.
