"Pride is the mother who is pregnant with all the other sins" That means humility is the greatest virtue. I've never heard of that either o.o

I love to read almost anything. I love the Bartimaeus Trilogy. It is very unique and well written. I also love the Pendragon series. My all time favorite is the Harry Potter series. No book has ever sucked me in like Harry Potter. I also like classics. Jane Eyre, One flew over the Cuckoo's Nest, Catcher in the Rye, 1984, Slaughterhouse five, The Odyssey, Dante's Inferno, Crucible, etc. I also enjoy reading Shakespeare. In addition, I read a lot of books about current issues. "A Bite of the Mango" is a great true story about a young girl in Africa during the battles between the Army and the rebels. I read many animal rights books as well. Animal Liberation by Peter Singer is a insightful read. Pretty much if you hand me a book, I will enjoy it.

Dante's Inferno and The Odyssey is awesome, so is Shakespeare in general.

I don't know if it's sad or amazing that I like (and know quite a bit about) both the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and Lord of the Rings books, but I haven't read them start to finish even once.
Also, Discworld for the win.

I need to make more time for reading. This thread is a great reminder of that fact.
My favorite books include the Harry Potter & Sword of Truth series, Kushiel's Dart, Johnny Got His Gun, White Oleander, The Hobbit and The Count of Monte Cristo.
There are quite a few books that I want to read right now such as The Ya-Ya Sisterhood, The Three Musketeers, and Descent into Chaos. As well as many other books that have been mentioned in this thread. <3
