Lauss thought for a moment, looking off and playing with his belt as he tried to come up with a "punishment". "I imagine it should be bad. Perhaps shameful. What would be shameful to you, Rhi?" He felt very little shame or embarrassment himself, so couldn't think of anything. Besides, what might humiliate one person might excite another.

Rhian tilted her head, blinking. "I don't know what that might be. . . .. I haven't figured out what embarrasses me yet," the flutterby said, huggling on Lauss as she talked.

Lauss frowned a bit, his job getting more difficult now that embarrassment wasn't an issue. "What if it's something we're not allowed to do? Surely that's a bad thing, right?" Pulling at his belt, he had an idea. "Perhaps, for every wrong answer, you must remove an article of clothing. We're not supposed to be naked, remember?" Disobeying was the worst punishment, right? He was so smart, coming up with such a clever idea as this on his own. Why didn't people do this more often?

Rhian giggled, blushing. "Okay, Lauss-teacher! That's a good idea - but you know more stuff than me, and I want you to play too, so. . . . you have to take off TWO pieces of clothing for any wrong answers!" Maybe that would make it more fair. . . .. plus, the flutterby had to admit, it would be more fun if she wasn't the only one who had to wind up naked.

Lauss nodded, finding nothing wrong with her idea. "Alright. What are we studying?" Somehow, he was looking forward to Rhian getting all the answers correct, not really wanting her to have to go against Faolan's word. Not to mention, nakedness still meant very little to the alter.

"Um. . . . everything!" Rhian chirped, knowing she needed help in, well. . . . . every subject offered at the school. This game would be so much fun, especially if she could get Lauss-teacher to get one or two wrong!

Lauss gave her a calm smile, nodding. "This will be a rather long game... You might have to re-dress once you run out of articles of clothing to take off..." Hopefully that would work. He highly doubted he'd have to take off any of his own clothes, confident that he knew every fact the books had to offer, having read through them several times by now. "Shall we begin?"

Rhian giggled. "Nah, we'll stop when one of us is naked, and whoever's naked first is the loser, and has to give the winner as many kisses and hugs as the winner wants!" That was a win-win situation for the flutterby and would make this study game very much worthwhile.

Lauss' smile faded a bit, realizing they wouldn't get as much studying in that way. But, if that was what Rhian wanted, that's what they'd do. Spotting the books on a nearby table, Lauss lifted the stack, carrying them over to the couch and falling into it, setting the books on the ground. "I hope Rhi wins..." He wouldn't be able to use the end prize of however many kisses he wanted like Rhian could. He was sure his lips would be worn off if she won. "Which class do we start with?" He bent forward, looking through the stack, hoping she'd pick science or math. Those were his favorites, after all.

Rhian tilted her head, sensing she'd upset Lauss-teacher by her addition to the rules. "Um...... you can pick, Lauss-teacher! And we can go through three rounds of questions!"

Lauss' grin returned to him as he bent down and pulled the science book into his lap, cracking it open and flipping to the lesson they'd been on in class. "Okay, Rhi, we'll start with this. Ready? ... Define inertia." He'd start her off with an easy one and they'd work from there.

"Iiiiiiiii-neeer-tiiiaaa?" Rhian echoed, a blank look overtaking her eyes, as she tried and failed to remember what that was. "Um, Lauss-teacher - can I have a hint?" She asked, hoping that the little clue would help her remember what that i-whatever was.

Lauss frowned a bit, not sure if that was entirely fair, but went along with it anyway. "Let's see..." he thought for a moment, eyes wandering about as he searched for a hint to give her. "Inertia pertains to an object's motion -- or lack of motion, if that's the case." Did that help at all? That was an awfully big clue, wasn't it?

Rhian blinked. She really didn't know this. At all. Looked like she'd lose her clothes quickly at this rate. Oh well. IT was all in fun anyway, right? "Um . . . . in-er-tia............. um . .. . . . it's. . .. .. something.......... not moving?" Well, at least all she'd lose was a glove.

Lauss shook his head, frowning at bit. Perhaps he'd started with something too difficult? "That is incorrect. Inertia is the principal of an object to resist change in its state of motion. An object at rest stays at rest; an object in motion stays in motion. This is, of course, if there are no outside influences, i.e. friction." He smiled back at her, hoping she could remember from now on. The alter handed the book over to her, thinking she could take whatever piece of clothing off while she searched for a question. "Rhi's turn to ask a question."
