Mihr was boggled on the concept of humans. They were such frail creatures, weak and flabby, yet they hold the same compassion as the Pokemon race. They love, they hate... The conquer and yet secede. Being taught when he was young, his perception was that humans were dangerous, capable of destroying everything they caught sight off. Yes, he was cautious but he wasn't completely stupid. Mihr knew better then to generalize the human race as 'evil' since it was obvious they were not. Or anything else rather. They were the same as the ground and rock types back at home... They weren't evil just for the sake of being evil... They just wanted a home and knew no other way then force. Humans were no different. Then, why do such malice exist? Nevertheless, spinning the roulette of coexisted with a human was the last thing on Mihr's tiny mind as he rummaged under the shrubs. Mihr was escaping from the heat of the day, preferring balmy weather then a scorching one. His favorite pastime during high-noon was research on these strange creatures that dwell in a nearby city. "Cynda---" Mihr yawned as the worn dirt path was calm and quiet. His stubby hands fidgeted with the silky tie around her neck, covered with holes and rips from his adventure around the grasslands. It was peaceful, except for that stupid pidgey who wouldn't shut his yap about his 'terrible' hangnail. Maybe he'll challenge a human today if a stray cloud blots out the unpleasant sun... Maybe.

"C'mon,Lop,your daddy was an Electivire, you must have some lightning flowing through you! Let's try again." sighed Lilly, leaning back against a tree.In an effort to make a team of the most types she could,Lilly was attempting to get her Lopunny to learn Thunder Punch. "Okay,Lop,use Thunder Punch now! Channel all the energy you've got into a Rock Smash!" she yelled, pointing at a nearby tree. The Lopunny bounded forward, its fur-covered fist crackling in the air around it.Lilly silently urged it on,and then a small thunderclap erupted from the Pokemon's fist. "Yeah, yeah, keep it going, keep it going...WHAM!" she yelled. "Lo...punny!" yelled the rabbit-like creature as a lightning-infused punch slammed the tree hard enough to knock it over. "You did it,you did it! Great job!" she cheered, jumping up and down with glee. This hadn't been nearly as hard as having her Feraligatr learn Rain Dance or Ice Fang.
Speaking of,there was no cloud cover today, and boy,was it hot! Lilly wiped her brow and slid down the length of the tree, her bottom meeting the ground with a small thud. "Lop?" asked the Lopunny, bouncing over to her slowly. "Hey Lop,I bet you're really feeling the heat, with all that fur on you, huh?" asked Lilly, and the Pokemon nodded a bit, glancing at its round home on her belt. "Return, then." she said, and the Lopunny touched its head to the Poke'ball and went back inside with a flash of red.

((I'm glad I decided to check today. xD I haven't been on Gaia for about a week or so... And yes... Yes it is a long intro. xD))
How long had he dozed? Thirty minutes? An hour?... Half a decade? The cacophony of the wind's melody had lulled him to sleep quite some time ago, aside from the rather sweltering heat that kept him from entering REM. He rifted through the realm of sanity and unconsciousness, and right when he got comfortable enough, a disturbance jumped him through the fifth dimension. "CYN!" The Earth trembled beneath his stomach as Mihr scrambled out of the shade and into the Sun's unforgiving glare. His makeshift home was almost flattened by an enormous oak tree, as the same hangnail Pidgey from before vacated the premise hastily. Agitated, groggy and now terrified, Mihr hopped onto the tree and inspected the wound on its wood hide. The roots dangled helplessly with clods of dirt, crippled from the blow. "Quil...Quil?" Rubbing it in hopes to wash away its burnt skin, his slanted eyes noticed Lilly's figure lounging on the resonating ground. 'You could've killed me!' Mihr's back exploded with emerald flames as he charged into a tackle. Tactfully, he missed Lilly as a heated torrent of wind flew by. "Cyndaquil!" Landing on the dirt road he stamped his right foot repeatedly, warning the human to leave. 'Next time I won't miss.'

A searing wind blew past the Trainer, following an angered-looking Cyndaquil.Lilly scrambled away from the little Pokemon, fearing a burn.Sure,Pokemon burns could heal easily, but not so much on humans.Having skittered a safe distance from the oddly colored fire mouse, she bowed her head respectfully. "I'm sorry.I should have found another rock instead of a tree...Are you hurt?" Having been taught respect for all Pokemon, she always tapped rocks and trees to make sure they weren't Geodudes or Sudowoodo.Had she not been as frustrated, she would have sent her Gardevoir to scout the area with its psychic powers.Lilly stood and backed up,head still down. "We got what we came for,so we'll leave you at peace now." she said, turning to leave.
The funny thing about Lilly was that she never took a Pokemon out of its natural habitat - all her Pokemon were either bred or came to her.As a result, she didn't much feel the need to catch Pokemon, though she carried Poke'balls just in case. "Hey,wait a moment." she said, turning to face the wild Mirror type. "Don't Cyndaquils normally live in hot places?" she asked, kneeling down to try to meet its eye level. "Or was it that you want a battle?"

Lilly half-expected the Pokemon to attack her,but the type of the attack bewildered her.It was relief from the heat, but an icy chill wasn't comfortable either...she wished she'd stuffed a jacket in her bag. "Suh-suh-since when c-can a Cy-Cyndaquil luh-learn Ice tuh-type moves?" she stammered, her teeth chattering a bit.A sharp pain in her side, and she was down. "Oww!" she wailed, glaring at the Pokemon. She knew it was only defending its home, but it was being awfully mean about it!
"S-so,you're a rowdy little pipsqueak, huh? Maybe I ought to teach you some manners!" she said, tossing a Poke'ball into the air.In a red flash,a Feraligatr appeared. It was certainly unique for a Feraligatr - It had a deep scar on its right eye,and a long scar on its belly. It also had a chipped foretooth, but that didn't stop it from chomping down on the competition. "Ferali rali!" it growled, its arms folded in a battle-ready pose. "Scary Face!" yelled the young Trainer, and the big jaw Pokemon stomped over to the little Cyndaquil, putting on a terrifying scowl. "Rali..." it hissed, baring the large fangs that defined the species.

The Feraligatr's scary face contorted into a smile, and it patted the Cyndaquil gently on its head. "Rali, ferali rali." (Brave, little guy.) it praised, grinning a toothy grin.It walked away, picking up its Trainer and putting her on its shoulder. "Hey,Feraligatr, what are you doing?" she asked it, obviously not done battling. "Rali ra.Ferali ra rali ferali rali."(We're done.No need to battle anymore.) it rumbled, and Lilly huffed. "Fine..." she said, folding her arms and looking down.
The Feraligatr respected the fire mouse. Most other Pokemon would try to flee, but this one stood up for its home.Feraligatr couldn't help but remember when it first met Lilly. It was a Totodile then, and very territorial. It butted Lilly's hands away until she was finally able to put it in its Poke'ball.Eventually the two warmed up to each other, and have been near-inseperable since.

"Feraligatr..." moaned Lilly, wrapping her arms around its thick neck. "How can you even stand this heat?" she whimpered, kicking a bit.Still perched on the blue gator's shoulder, she was getting no relief from the sun on the foot-worn path back to town. "Make it raaaain!" she whined. The Pokemon grinned again and stood still for a moment, setting Lilly on her feet. From deep within its gullet,a powerful orb of water shot forth into the sky. Moments later,a dark cloud settled, and a light rain began to fall on the area.Lilly smiled. "Yaaay, thank you!" she said, hugging her partner. The Pokemon simply grinned, seeing as its scaly hide was feeling the relief as well.

Mihr wasn't sure what was better, the sweltering summer heat or a refreshing, yet humid rainfall. Either way, steam sizzled from his skin as Mihr bolted back to life as water tickled his skin. Seeping into his contrasting coat, he jumped over to the quickest route to safety which was of course, Lilly's Feraligatr. The weathered tie dragged haplessly against the dirt, now dying itself an eerie shade of crimson. "Cynda... Quil. ((Sorry bout before...))" He tapped the gators armor like carapace as it trickled with rain. It was at that time, Mihr wondered where all that extra vigor came from during the scorching sun and where all of it went afterwards. Already feeling mutual to his rather colossal opponent, he tapped his hide once again, "Quil! Cynda? (I'm Mihr! What brings you here?))" His eyes were still wary on the being that sat on the reptiles shoulders as his hands instinctively drew themselves together, humorously fidgeting with his hands as if apologetic. He was a little introverted with humans, perhaps.

The Feraligatr felt something touch the back of his leg that felt less natural to him than water, more solid,in fact.He whirled around, only to see the little Cyndaquil from before, apologizing. "Rali rali, ferali ferali rali."(It's okay,no harm done.) said the beast, chuckling as Lilly fought to keep her balance on his shoulder. "Rali ferali.Ra ferali rali."(I'm called Rale mostly.Heard there was good training here.) he said. "Rali ferali,li rali.Rali rali."(This is my partner,Lilly. She's not scary.) he said, pointing to her.

He was cheery to the fanged lizard, feeling a bit at ease under its protection. "Cynda... Cyn.(Hello... Rale.)" Rain pattered against the ground, which then was greedily absorbed by the Earth itself. Mihr's neck was already hurting a bit, difficult to gaze upon Rale at such a steep angle. Though, he merely huffed as Rale pointed out his trainer, "Cynda, Quil Quil. (She seems scary to me...)" He hid behind his leg, obscuring the visual path from Lilly.
"Ruse, stop jerking around will yah!" A young man growled cheerfully as footsteps thundered in the distance. Absorbed in his will to control the two headed dodo, he hardly noticed the sudden shift of weather caused by Lilly's Feraligatr. "If you keep acting this way, Imma end up riding Odin instead of you!" The doduo's left leg skidded to a complete stop while the right leg stamped wildly. This, added with the rather sleek ground caused by Rain Dance caused Ruse to hydroplane along the water-laden terrain. The boy rocketed from his fuzzy throne and landed on the ground, staining his clean white shirt into a murky brown. Ruse's left head laughed vigorously while its right head bore the guilt of ejecting her master twenty feet away. Ruse then noticed Lilly and the giant blue obscurity. The left head greeted the trainer and pokemon with a nasally honk, while the right head bent passively with a rather nervous gaze.
Mihr jumped at the sound of Ruse's laughter and fled under Rale's tail. His eyes cautiously watched the rather robust introduction of this new 'human.'
Leo grumbled as a mud bubble escaped from the soggy Earth.

Hovering directly above a large tree, Radii was most enjoyably soaking up the intense sunlight that was washing the land today. It was almost it's goal in life to be doing what it was doing at that exact moment. Facing directly upwards, like a small umbrella over the tree, it stared almost directly at the sun, studying it's brightness. It had not a care in the world, as the sunshine beat down upon it, filling it with strength. If Radii had a mouth, it would have been smiling right then, just content with the world and how things were just at that moment. You could almost say his mood was.... sunny. razz
But all that came to pass, as suddenly, and without warning, a cloud appeared overhead, blocking out his sunlight. Radii blinked at the change, then suddenly realized what was happening. Rain drops began dotting it's face, which greatly irritated it. Radii tilted itself upright, still keeping it's spot above the tree, and swiveled around, looking for the culprit to this mysterious raincloud. It could've simply flown out of the range of the cloud, but Radii rather liked it's spot. From it's perch, it quickly spotted two humans, as well as a couple of pokemon around them. They were the obvious culprits.
Quickly, Radii darted from it's perch. It flew downwards towards the group, and then hovered a bit above them. Radii, wanting to make an intimidating entrance, then emitted a large flash above the group, possibly blinding those who looked up at that moment.
