Oh there was a god after all. The femme stopped, snarl twitching before turning down to host a low growl. Her chest puffed as she looked at the dog before her. This was going to be hopeless, she knew it. "What do you think, Musketeer?" She snapped. "Either I'm a wreck at subtlety or you're more the damn fool than I thought." In not so many words her mind raced accordingly, face faltering from it's glare for a moment as she looked into his eyes.
Dammit she couldn't do this. Tensing up once more she broke the gaze and began to pace again, each turn wondering whether she should tear a new hole in him or run off and hope he wouldn't follow. Was she even to be merited an answer?

Musketeer stared for a long moment uncerain how to proceed his body trembled with the desire to get closer to her. Luckily he wasn't that stupid and managed to keep himself still. He watched as she started to pace again and tried to find words for her.
"Necrala you know I've always loved you, always will, you...you have a home a family you can join whenever you want. That's all I can offer all I cab say it's always been your choice."
He looked at her hopefully, strange how this one female could save or condem his future.

Ears perked forwards, listening to him talk but her body still stayed defensive, head down and paws rapid as she paced. It should've felt like there would be a piece of her something, a weight lifted or something to the effect, but she didn't feel any different. If anything, she felt even more burdened.
Looking up, she watched Musketeer with blank eyes. Was she supposed to answer? "What am I supposed to do?" She asked, exasperated. It killed her to ask, but she honestly didn't know.

"I can't tell you what to do Necrala, only you can decide to go or stay...but...I wish you would stay. I want you to stay, because I love you...I need you...and if thats not enough...I understand, but..." He frowned and looked away uncertainly before sighing and looking at her.
"Somehow I think Millanna would benefit from at least knowing her mother..." He hated to put that out there, but weren't his pups lives, their futures, and their happiness worth more then his. Of course they were, and if Millanna needed her mother and Necrala wouldn't accept him, then maybe he should try and remove himself from the equation...anything that would help.
Still he wanted her to say she would stay, because she loved him, because she wanted to give family, home, peace a try. He knew the pack would accept her because he loved her, that was just the way they were. The way Twix finally grudgingly accepted Alas because she made Crunch happy. The way they had all smiled and welcomed Venera's pups into their hearts despite never knowing who had fathered them. Love was unconditional.

"Don't bring her into this." Her voice dropped again, silver gaze narrowing warningly. "Not now at least." She remembered the warm rain in an instant, wrapping the pups before taking them out into the forest. "Tell her what you like, but other than that... " The femme shook her head quickly, fur fluffing momentarily before laying once more upon her neck.
Necrala scoffed, lip raised slightly as she sat back on her haunches. "Go? I don't have anywhere to go now, wolf." If she had been able to go anywhere, to leave before, did he not think she would have. She knew she would've been long gone. But she hadn't been able to and that was the difference. Yet how close she was willing to stay right now, it was to be said. Nothing had changed between them outwardly, less violent and somewhat less confusing, but nothing more.

"Stay with me? With the pack? You could try...just see what it's like...to have a family there, who loves you, who supports you..." Then the hope in his chest rose, because Necrala wasn't dead inside at all, just so confused she lashed out. Confusion was alright though, he could show her slowly and lift the veil.
Akiiki Chibale was all about wolves like Necrala, wolves who wanted to settle down and find happiness. He thought about Millanna, the questions in her eyes that he never dared answer. No doubt Twix had told her something to placate her, but what? Moranna, Mahli, and Mastilain had known their mother, and known how much he loved her. Millanna had no clue who her mother was, and didn't realize how deeply Musketeer still cared for her.
"I won't tell Millanna anything...until you want to meet her...otherwise...it would only hurt her." He finally sighed.

A growl reverberated out into the air, the female giving him a sharp look. "No packs." She stated firmly, muzzle raised in a deciding manner. Packs were nothing but trouble, others were nothing but trouble. Why, the only reason he had fallen for her was because he was mentally insufficient(which, judging by her agrudged feelings back she didn't mind <3), what was to say that the rest were? It wasn't as if she hadn't had experience with a pack before, though mind it was not quite a normal one.
And Milanna? She didn't even want to think on them now, nor go back and have to face them. The prospect was daunting. She may have coughed up what she felt as love, but she still held her pride down. "I don't see why anything must change because of this." Necrala growled softly, brows knitted in confusion. Was it not enough that she loved him? Could they not keep separate lives but still company together?

No packs...he cringed and looked at her uncertainly for a long moment, what would he do? He loved his pack, his family, they had been there for him when he needed them most. Yet, he knew what he had to do, if he wanted to show Necrala his love.
"Alright...tell me how you want it?" He slowly tried to move closer to her caution in every motion. He didn't want to scare her off...again, he needed to make her happy for once instead of the horrible endings that concluded all their meetings.
"You don't want to stay in the pack... then let me stay with you?" It hurt so badly, but what could he do? He would come back for patrols...it wouldn't be so different or hard. Butterfinger lived on the outskirts of the pack territory with his family, he would do the same with Necrala.

From under knit brows she looked out at him, confused and slightly irked by his reaction. Though she cared not much as he advanced as what he had said. Was that an ultimatum? She go into the pack or he leave with her? Ears flickered backward momentarily as she watched him.
"I never told you that you needed to leave." She said steadily, expression still furrowed. Had she? She may have the desire to keep him at least within reach, but did she expect him to follow her about? Was he going to become like a pup and cling to her constantly. Once more her ears pulled back, a wary look flickering past grey eyes.

"Oh..." He was completely confused now, what did she want from him? Had she come to explain that she loved him...only to leave again? He had a sinking suspicion that was her exact intention.
He felt his stomach tighten uncomfortably and looked at her with a sigh. "Well...then...I'll stay with the pack, and you..." What? Did she just want to visit? His instincts protested vehemently. How could he just let her slip away now that he knew she felt something too. "What do you want Necrala?" He finally sighed, though at times he got the feeling all she wanted was to see him suffer. At least he could make her plenty happy in that regard.

Necrala watched him with an impatient contempt, before looking over her shoulder and about in the forest. Whatever relationship she currently held with him, these were not her lands and it being the second time intruding would not due well to keep herself hidden from this pack. Despite her suspicion that between that pink nuisance and Musketeer she was quite a talked about beast in the bush, of course.
"I shouldn't be here." The female grumbled, eyes avoiding his as she looked beyond him into the dark. Ears never left their spot still pulled tight against her skull. She wanted to avoid this issue. Though she always had her opinions, and held them highly, she had never prepared for a situation as such. Too much change too quickly for her liking. In truth, she had no clue what she wanted.
"I want to be gone and never have to think about you ever again, wolf... But now with this happening that is hardly conceivable now isn't it." She replied, tail flickering uneasily at her side. To her the statement was defeat.

Her words were a direct blow to his heart, he actually felt a burn in his chest. He shouldn't be surprised he tried to remind himself, she didn't want to love him, she just did. He wished that he could feel the same, how much easier it might be if he didn't want to love Necrala, or if he didn't love her. The pain would finally fade away and leave him fresh and strong again, instead of pining for a female would only rip apart what was left of his heart.
"I-I guess not...but...you don't want to stay here either. You can't have it both ways my lo-Necrala, you have to go or stay." His jaw ached, his body ached trying to keep away from her.

How was she to describe feelings she didn't understand, those that she didn't have names for. The selfish, stupid impulse to lay her future upon these, to go against all that she had determined as safe and do what? The female knew she would never join his pack, in reality could not live under[what she perceived] the judging stare of wolves and expect to live a normal life.
Necrala couldn't even fathom reaching out and touching him, the feel of foreign fur, a kind gesture. The thought sent a soft shiver through her dull pelt, as though relieving a phantom itch. It also brought an almost piercing sense of claustrophobia, an irrational fear that it took a moment for her to quell with a flash of anger. She was stronger than that, but made no movement of the kind.
"I want..." The words came in an awkward, almost fearful tone that she regretted immediately. She stopped, disgusted at the sound of her own voice and embarrassed at it's affect in the dead air. "I want to stay. But not here." The female gave a wary glance about the darkened wood, voice gruff and controlled once more. She could not meet his eyes.

Oh sweet heavens above, she said she wanted to stay? He hoped she couldn't hear the wild thudding of his heart against his chest, the frantic pounding of hope.
"You may stay wherever you wish Necrala, if you need my help with a den you have but to ask." He struggled to keep the joy out of his voice and tried to tell his foolish heart to calm. This meant nothing after all she could be gone with the wind as quickly and ever changing.

The lack of outright....well, whatever he did when he seemed to be 'happy', concerned her, though the strain in his tone seemed to reassure her just enough mentally that the wolf had no completely lost his head. Or gained his senses, whichever prospect.
The female was not for niceties in such a respect as to grant him a thanks or real answer, though he would be even more a fool to expect one from her. Rising from the forest floor Necrala gave her pelt a definite shake, casting from it a previous insecurity as she faced Musketeer. Body held aloft and assure, the female looked him straight in the face. "Where do you go from here?" Her tone was calm and controlled, but her eyes searched him expectantly.
