"It is up to you Roy I really haven't though of any names myself for my egg. It would have to be something special. I have wait almost 3 years to be a father so I want to make it something to remember. Hmmm.....I should see Zell about naming it. Maybe. I think I might have to go to the library and get a few books on names. Though the purple on the eggs is going to make it hard to decide on a name."continued Squall.

Roy pondered over that for a bit, not really noticing that Kaoru had no say in what they named their child. "Yes, Tempest does seem like the best choice in a name. Tempest Mustang Leonheart." He smiled to himself. At least now the child would have the right to have the same surnames as both of its fathers'.

Kaoru cooed over the egg and smiled. "Tempest sounds like a good name. Another idea if it is a boy is Zeus like the Greek god? It like a strong name maybe? Or maybe Ichigo? Maybe?" said Kaoru as she started muttering out a bunch of different names.
Squall couldn't help but start to laugh a bit at Kaoru silliness.

Roy paled slightly as Kaoru rambled out a few names that he didn't really consider. He thought that Tempest was a fine name for their unhatched child. Hopefully Kaoru might see that after their child hatched. But until then he would let her suggest names. He was already set on naming their child Tempest. He gazed up at the sky and sighed as he saw that the sun was slowly creeping down towards the mountain. "Dear, we better get going unless you want to spend the night out here...Let's go to my owner's place. It has a bit more space and we can raise our child together there."

Kaoru nodded and nudge the egg to roll since she didn't have the physical strength to be able to pick it up. "Yeah it also warmer there and we can watch a movie maybe. Up to you though. " she said rolling the egg on the ground.

Roy slowly stood up and helped his mate roll the egg in the direction of his owner's cottage. At least it wasn't that far away-only three miles or so. It seemed longer when he was traveling to the meeting spot but he knew that it might be even longer now that they had an egg to get back there. "That's a very good idea," he said in between nudges to the egg.

He tilted his head to one side and gazed at her for a few moments before slowly taking off his coat. "Alright," he said, wincing slightly. If it was going to get dirty it would take forever for his owner to clean it. He handed it to her, though thoroughly regretting his decision to obey her.

Kaoru placed the egg in the jacket and put the sleeves together to make a basket. "There now it should be much easier to carry." said Kaoru.

He watched her carefully as she tied his jacket. He sighed slightly, calmed that his precious jacket wasn't going to get dirty. It was going to get wrinkled but those would just fade away next time that he wore it. He nodded his head and grabbed one side of the jacket with his maw and waited for Kaoru to do the same so that they could carry the egg the rest of the way to the cottage.

Kaoru grabbed the other sleeve in her jaw and began to carry the egg to the cottage with Roy. It felt good to take care of something so precious. It made her heart happy inside.

An hour later, they arrived at Roy's owner's cottage. After carrying the egg inside, Roy guided Kaoru to his little room and laid down on the ground, making sure that the egg didn't wobble out of his jacket. He gently let go on the jacket after making sure that the egg didn't roll away and sighed loudly. "That was a long trek. Remind me to tell Squall to find better meeting spots."

"Yeah it was," said Kaoru as she laid down next to the egg. "Don't worry I think he did it to see if we can work together on coming up with a plan to carry the egg. " Kaoru nuzzled the egg a bit more. "I wonder what it will look like when it hatches."

Roy curled up on the other side of the egg and looked at Kaoru lovingly. "Just as long as the kit loves us, I don't really care what gender it is or what it looks like. Hopefully its personality is as sweet as its mother is...whoever she is." He yawned widely and laid his head down on his forepaws. A few moments later he was fast asleep.
