It was a rather dull day for Roy Mustang. He stared out the window of his owner's small cottage that she had built in the middle of the forest, wondering what to do. He had already gotten done with most of his paper work (the rest of it he was pushing aside to do another day. It wasn't that important for him to get it done that minute). He yawned widely, not bothering to cover his mouth. He was about to fall asleep when he heard something slip under the door leading to his small "office". Curious, he slid out of his chair and walked over to the door to see a small note on the ground.
Tilting his head to one side, he gently picked up the note and opened it to see neatly written words on the other side of the paper. He read it a few times, wondering who had sent it. All it said was to go outside and wait for something to happen. He nearly went back to his chair, not fully convinced that this note was a prank or not. He was bored and he needed something to do. He glanced back at the few papers on his desk, shrugged, and left his office, leaving the forgotten papers behind.
A few minutes later, he found himself outside of the cottage and walking deeper into the forest, not knowing what to expect when he got to the meeting spot the unknown writer had told him to meet someone in the forest.

A tall kitsu stood in the center of the forest under a tree. He has a large weapon that looked like a gun and a blade together. He seem to have to small round items with him. He then yawned and flickered his ear.
"I wonder if they will appericate it. Hmmm.....he's running late," said Squall to himself. He then squatted down with the eggs in his lap. He scratched his head and sighed. He wondered himself if he would be a good father. He'd been around a numerous amount of kids. He was his owner babysitter to all the new kits. Squall continued to wait to see if his note got to Roy Mustang.

Of course Roy was running late. He was the king of procrastination! It took him nearly a half an hour after receiving the note to arrive at the meeting spot that he was told to go to. He flicked an ear when he saw an Anthro kitsu standing in the small clearing.
"So, why have you summoned me? I am a busy person," he said in a slightly demanding voice. He stared down at the eggs at Squall's feet. He wondered why he had brought those eggs with him.

Squall looked at the blacked hair kitsu. "Took you long enough. Did you get lost or what?" said Squall squinting his eyes. "Well the reason why I called you here is because I wanted to give you and Kaoru a gift. As much as I wanted a family of my own I think you to deserve on too. Even though it may not be biological it something. I wanted to give you a kit of your own." Squall held up an egg.

Roy frowned slightly at Squall. "Very funny," he said bluntly. He flicked an ear slightly as he sat down on his haunches, listening to the other male talk to him. Give him and Kaoru a gift? He stared at the egg that Squall held out to him and frowned a little bit more. Did he really deserve to have kits? Even though he and Kaoru have been trying to have kits he didn't really feel like he deserved any. What if they turned out to be like him? That scared him a little bit. "Thank you," he said as he glanced around, wondering if Kaoru was around. He motioned for Squall to set down the egg gently on the ground. He would have to have help in transporting his new offspring back to the cottage. After that he would have to have Kaoru move in with him. That would be better in case their new offspring wanted to go back to his biological father.

"hey guys sorry I am late. I had to stop by the store and get something," said Kaoru running up to the two males. Kaoru was smiling and what look like skipping and walking a the same time.
"Hey Kaoru. At least you didn't get lost like your mate here." chuckled Squall a bit. "So anyways I wanted to give you two this egg since I know for a while you have been trying to have a family too. "

Roy frowned again at Squall. Why did the tall kitsu think that he got lost? He didn't. He just took his time in getting to the meeting spot. "What's the catch?" he asked Squall, not entirely sure if the other male was just going to hand them one of his eggs.

"No catch. Just make sure to love it and care as if it was your own. Simple enough," said Squall. "I just don't want to see him or her being mistreated."

Roy tilted his head to one side. Is that really what Squall expected of them? He wasn't really so sure about it but he shrugged slightly. "Alright...I wonder if this child will accept me as its father." He stared down at the egg, a slightly saddened look on his face.

"Don't worry normally the first thing a hatching see it takes it for the parent. Unless you do something idiotic like set there toys on fire. Or something like that. " said Squall.

"Like I would actually do something as stupid as that," Roy muttered under his breath. Really, what would make Squall think that he would do something as stupid as burn his child's toys? He sighed. He knew he would have to ask his owner for some old toys that she had when she was little...that is if she had anything like that. He glanced over at Kaoru to see her reaction to all of this.

Kaoru clung on the egg. It almost look like she was smuthering it. It was a bird atop of its own egg. Kaoru seemed to be really happy and overly excited. She smiled at Roy. "This will be our baby. We will have to take lots of baby pictures and other stuff like that. I think some of the other kits might have toys we can have." She giggled like a little girl.
"She off in her own little world now." said Squall looking at Kaoru.

Roy paled slightly when he saw what Kaoru was doing. He sighed and shook his head slightly. "Whatever you say, dear," he told her, not really that interested in taking pictures of their new kit. "I'm gonna let her stay there for now. Hopefully this will be a good thing for her. Maybe this might make her back off on her desire to actually have kits of her own. I feel it is my fault we can't have kits of our own." He hesitated slightly before turning his gaze to Squall. "Thanks."

"So anyways what were your plans on naming it if it were a girl or a boy," asked Squall tilting his head and covering his egg with his warm jacket. He didn't know what else to do to keep it warm since he didn't have a female mate to show him what to do.
"I am not really sure. I think Roy would be better at coming up with names then I," said Kaoru with a smile. "Maybe we should get Hughes on this or Edward? Or maybe I should get Tamahome."

Roy walked over to his mate and sat down beside her. He shuddered slightly at the first two names that she suggested that they turn to for help in naming their unhatched child. "Maes isn't a good choice. He would probably want the child to be named Elicia or Gracia. And no to Edward. I haven't talked to him in ages and I don't think that he would be thrilld with the idea of having to name my child." He tilted his head to one side and pondered a few names. "Maybe Tempest?" he suggested, tugging on his gloves. "Maybe that name for either gender. It seems like a good boy or girl name." He nodded his head slightly. "Tempest...Mustang? Or Tempest Leonheart?"
