There different kind's of Satanism:One is Luciferianism.

Luciferianism can be understood best as a belief system that venerates the essential characteristics that are affixed to Lucifer.

Luciferianism is identified by some people as an auxiliary of Satanism, due to the popular identification of Lucifer with Satan. Some Luciferians accept this identification or consider Lucifer as the light bearer aspect of Satan, and thus could properly be called Satanists. Next,is:Theistic Satanism.

And finally theres:LaVeyan Satanism.
Anton LaVey founded the Church of Satan in 1966 and his writings were the foundation of LaVeyan Satanism.LaVeyan Satanism is a religion founded in 1966 by Anton Szandor LaVey. Its teachings are based on individualism, self-indulgence, and "eye for an eye" morality. Unlike Theistic Satanists, LaVeyan Satanists are atheists, agnostics, and Deists who regard Satan as a symbol of man's inherent nature.[2] According to religioustolerance.org, LaVeyan Satanism is a "small religious group that is unrelated to any other faith, and whose members feel free to satisfy their urges responsibly, exhibit kindness to their friends, and attack their enemies".Its beliefs were first detailed in The Satanic Bible and it is overseen by the Church of Satan.

Out of these three,I am a LaVeyan Satanist.I believe in the Philosophy,and Laws.

I could call myself LaVeyan, but I feel as though I have other philosophical things building on my strong LaVeyan fundation. But I agree 100% with the Satanic Bible, and it stands on my bookshelf.

I agree about seeing the demons I myself have been in the prsence of one i couldn't do anything and I ws scared so bad I couldn't breath but I managed to whisper "Jesus." And it was gone I am so thankful for my lord and savior!

I found a demon once when i was bord. (kids down the street summoned it) i just looked at it and heard a laughing... lol... i love fighting demons... although i almost died once... i need to speak with those kids -.- if tht doesnt work.. jst bneat the shiz out of them... so they can stop it already...

Satanism is the evilization of ancient pagan rites and other religious ideals different from the conventional church. Often the supposed withces were female herbalists passing down oral tradition, and such. At the begining of the the rise of the chirstian power, they would destroy vast works of pagan religion, and even past greek dieties. Some christian temples transfer the image of Zeus to god when making accomodations within the nut-shell of roman temples.

Satan=Lucifer=Prometheus=bringer of light=knoweledge given to humans

Such features re-emerge consistenly throughout many places if one think as open as Joseph campbell in his work, Hero with a thousand Faces. Beleiving in a totally good versus evil spectrum, blac or white, is too much of a dualistic thinking process. Variations of colors should exists in beleifs.

Something interesting to know is that the decades old established satanistic cults actually borrow chirstian symbols to display Satan. These symbols are truely in essence christians ones such as the upside down cross. Bible 101, all the apostols of Jesus demanded that they'd be haned on the cross upside-down for they didn't consider themselves worthy to die just as Jesus. The five pointed star, actually symbolises man for its five parts (legs, arms, head) and just as well a virgin rose which symbolizes Jesus himself. Unfortunately I forgot the anem of the book I read this info on...I'll meniton it later.

Another fun fact which happends to sometimes appear here is hidden alchemical symbols...quite fun to decode and read of.

Thus is some of my reasons why I choose none of the forms of satanism.
