Stryder watched Venda. He was.... curious. He'd never known this feeling before, well not at great lengths anyway. It wasn't possible to be curious while fighting for his life with the light skinned two-leggers and then in the wild. ... Chernabog, for one, came to mind. He nuzzled her, friendly, not in the way he would Schatze of course, but he wanted to comfort her. Stryder could see his friend was hurt, and saddened. The visions didn't seem worth the pain and the not knowing.
"I'm sorry, Venda," Stryder whispered, "I don't know how to help you. But I thank you, for the wonderful news you've given me."
His eyes drooped a bit, even though he smiled in thanks. After all, his friend was sad, and he didn't know just how to make things right. She'd been hurt, telling him a vision of his future, one so bright...

Venda forced herself to slowly stand her paws trembled slightly beneath her before she managed to gain her footing proper. She bumped her head lightly against the male before her and forced a smile.
"Don't worry about me Styder, I'll manage just fine. I'm glad I was able to share something with you though, this happy news. Their beautiful, and you...you'll be such a good father."
She couldn't shake the bad feeling of the second and third parts of the vision, should she warn Stryder now that one of his pups might be lost to him for a time? What would happen to the pup alone in the world? If only she knew if the loss was a short one or a long one...
"You must watch them carefully though...there are so many things in this world, so many dangers to prepare them to face." She sighed.

Stryder stayed still, a watchful eye on Venda, there for and if she ever fell. He smiled, seeing she wasn't labored too hard from getting back on her paws.
"Ok Venda, I'm glad you can manage yourself," Stryder murmured. "Thank you, you have no idea how it means to me that you shared this joyful news."
Stryder ended with a smile. How could he not be happy he'd be a father? He had missed so much family life, not knowing his parents or if he had any siblings. He would be happy to help Schatze bring their pups into their own.
But it scared him. Would he be able to keep them safe? He could only hope so.
"I'll be careful Venda. Once again, thank you so much."

"Of course...Of course, I hope you remain happy Stryder, should these visions continue...should I see something of you, I will try to find you...I'd like to think of this curse as having some use." She gave a wry smile and sighed.
"I should be going..." Though where she would go she hadn't any idea, visions had been hazily guiding her about, but her life no longer seemed to have any actual purpose, except that revenge still lived in her heart.
