She'd have to come here more often. If it smelled this good right now, she wanted to see it in the morning, when everything was being freshly made. her eyes kept wandering in different directions, not able to focus on one thing at a time.
"They sound good," made her hungry just to think about it. Keeping a hold on the other's hand still, quite absently at this point, she took in the sights in smells--she felt like she was in heaven. But something told her to not let her guard down.
"Do humans mind us cats being around here?" Her eyes descended from the huge booths back to Kouji, cocking her head curiously and ears perking forward. "I dont see any others around," yet. She kind of hoped she didn't, unless she already knew the cats, that is.
When Kouji pointed out the candy booth, however, her full attention settled to that booth--but still, she fell in stride with his own steps, not wanting to seem too eager--especially since she had no idea where she was going, what she was doing, and how to get out of here if she got lost.

Kouji gave a slight shrug. "Some do, some don't. It really depends on the human, most of the fish stalls don't like us too much, but many of the other shops just let us roam. I don't think they caught onto us stealing their food in small amounts or they just don't care." he shrugged again. "Well most of them come out later in the evening when the shops are closing down. The best time to snatch food to tell the truth. And the shop owners will sometimes throw us the scraps and stuff because they don't need it. Cats here certainly don't starve!" he laughed giving Riri a slight nudge and pulled her to the opening of the candy shop.
He gave her hand another squeeze, but this one was more of a subconscious reaction more than anything. "Okay, this guy has caught onto us stealing a little bit so we have to be a little more careful. Follow me and we can get out without being caught." he looked back at Riri waiting for her to let him know she was ready, the sooner they got in and out of the store the more they could relax with some treats. It was always more fun to explore when you had something to give you a little extra kick and energy to go.

The ragdoll padded alongside him, listening to his words and wondering if her family ever used to come here to shop. She cut the thought off instantly, and looked over to him when her hand was squeezed.
"Oh--okay," she nodded, telling herself to be careful so as not to attract any attention. It was somewhat difficult, since she was rather large for a cat...luckily she was light on her feet, and most of the time humans saw her and didn't boot her or harm her. Not sure why. Or, at least, she hoped it was still like that.
Slowly letting his hand go so he could lead the way, she made sure her bunny was tucked into her hoodie so she didn't lose him, and waited for follow him in. This should be exciting...like an adventure. It made her smile--trying to ignore the fact that it could get somewhat dangerous, depending on how the human reacted to them. If he saw them.

Kouji smiled back at her. "Don't worry, as long as you're with me you'll be fine. I've stolen sweets from here more than enough times to know how to get out without getting hurt even when you're caught." he chuckled and turned back to watch the opening of the shop for the owner. Once he entered the back they'd slip in, make a dash for the Jyanjaku and the gummies and leave before the shop owner was even aware that they had been there. Though he'd probably find out later though.
He watched as the owner started for the back of the store. "Alright, come on, stay close..." he whispered, taking Ririka's hand and leading her in after her. A few people looked down and pointed, a few giggled at the funnt sight of the two cats entering the shop. It wasn't anything unusual to see stray cats wandering around or for that matter having no fear of walking into a crowded store. "See there! It's the bags with the soda bottles on them; that's the Jyanjaku." he said licking his lips. "And over there!" he smiled widely and pointing at the bright colored bags with pictures of fruit on them. "Go pick one out, I'm gonna grab the JyanJaku and then we'll split." he said smiling at her. He liked all the flavors of the gummies so he never worried about which ones were grabbed.

Keeping close to him, she ignored the comments and whispers from the humans. Her ears folded back, and she looked up to him when he spoke to her, smiling and nodding at the command. Seemed easy enough.
Once inside, she broke away from him to go and grab the candy that she was told to. Once she got to the area with them, she reached up to paw at the packages, managing to knock one down. Being a decently large feline she didn't have too much trouble doing this. Fixing the bunny in her hood, she was about to stuff the package into her hoodie--when she heard angry stomping coming up behind her.
Turning quickly, she was met with the angry eyes of the store-keeper. How had she not heard him before. Ears drooping, her fur bristled slightly when he reached for her, only expecting a swat or a yell--but it was just beneath her scruff that he grabbed, nails and harsh fingers snatching her up. This made her hiss and scream, people startled outside by the cat's yowling and obviously frightened noises. Hissing at him once more, she flailed, reaching up to rake her front claws over the human's wrists as best she could. He was yelling at her, and she couldn't understand--she wasn't paying enough attention to his words to understand. Being the large breed she was, as he legs flailed and her tail whipped about, she managed to catch bags of candy and other such things to send in whatever direction. Ririka was horrified. She'd never been treated this way by a human before. And now he was grabbed her limbs and yanking them in ways that made her cry out and try to flail away again.

"RIRIKA!" he yelled out hearing the angry yells and Riri's calls. His heart pounded in his throat, his blue eyes wide and bright with fear, how in the hell had the manager gotten passed him like that?! This was all his fault, he should have kept her right next to him instead of sending her off on her own, even if it was just a few feet away. He leaped forward biting hard on the back of the man angle, hitting the sensitive pressure points hidden there. His paws wrapped around the man's leg, and his back kicking desperately in hopes of getting the angry man to let go of Ririka.
He'd lost all thought of himself as people around the shop turned and started in on the manager, calling him cruel and telling him to let the cat go. A few pointed at Kouji, commenting on his will to protect the female with him, no one stepped forward though for fear of the sharp claws that the cats had, having no will to wind up with stitches or worse.
"LET HER GO YOU SON OF A b***h!" Kouji snarled through his death grip of a bite, soon drawing blood even through the man's thick socks he could taste its metallic tang on his tongue.

The comments from the people outside made the shop manager angry, obviously--but he hadn't expected another cat to come after him. Yelling, his hold tightened on the female for a moment, then dropped her all together.
As per cat instinct she twisted around to land sorely on all fours, panting and in slight pain from being twisted around--but now she just wanted to run. She was in a panic.
Twisting around, she saw Kouji ripping the man's leg apart, making her bristle and step away from the human slowly. "K-kouji come on!" Ririka didn't want him hurt, that was the last thing she wanted...But now the humans outside were cooing at her, trying to get her to approach them, which scared her more.
The shop keeper reached down when his hands were free to grab at Kouji, making Ririka turn and growl at him, suddenly going into protective mode. Snapping at his fingers, she used her front claws to swipe at his palm and fingers until Kouji got off of him. They needed to run--but where? She didn't know where to go--maybe Kouji would...the ragdoll trusted him, trusted that he'd get them out safe.

Kouji let go and shot off of the man and ran towards Riri grabbing her hand and pulling her after him, rushing between the legs of the people gathered in the shop, make a few shriek and jump out of the way for fear of the claws the cats had and the possibility of being next to be torn up. Once outside of the shop Kouji didn't stop there, he pulled the female down an alley with him where it was shaded and cool compared to the warm weather that still persisted so late in the year.
Kouji nearly collapsed onto his knees, gasping for breath, his chest heaving for each breath that cut his throat and mouth making it feel raw and bloody though it wasn't. Still unable to breath properly, still panting, he forced himself to stand up straight and pulled Ririka into a tight hug.
"I...I am so...sorry..." he panted, "I never should have told you to get that candy without being right there with you..." he sighed, his heart still pounding desperately in his throat. He'd never felt so scared in his life as he had back in the sweets shop.

The people running made her wonder how scared the people really were of them. Once they were safe, apparently, in the alleyway she leaned back against the closest wall to try and catch her breath, trembling slightly as she did so.
Opening her mouth to apologize herself, she paused when the man took her into a huge. Surprised, she sniffled a bit, not wanting to break down...she kept her composure, and lifted her arms up to wrap around his neck, nuzzling close automatically. His pulse was pounding next to her folded ears, hands gripping at the back of his shirt for dear life.
She had been scared...but she'd, sadly, had a more horrifying experience, so she was calming down quickly...really just going numb at this point. It's how Ririka coped to scary things.
"D-dont be sorry...you saved me," she murmured softly, slowly petting her hand over his back and taking in slow, deep breaths, both for her sake and for his, so he could try to match her breathing and stop gasping for air like that. It worried her. Still gripping onto him tightly, Ririka figured she shouldn't strangle him...or get too terribly close, right? It struck her that he had mentioned being with someone a while back, and slowly loosened her hold on him. Replacing her palms to the other's shoulders, she pulled her head back, looking up to the tom.
A smile crossed her lips--funny how she could manage that--and brought a hand up to brush her palm over his mouth, getting rid of the blood that might have remained there. "Thank you."

The Aby's breathing finally started to return to normal, but his heart still pounded in his throat. "You're okay right, you didn't fall wrong or anything?" he asked, worried that his stupid mistake had led to an injury. He felt better with Ririka wrapped around him, he would have been purring in any other situation, but his body was still catching up with him. A part of him ached when she let go and pulled back, he wanted to grab her and pull her back him, but he thought better of it. He still didn't know Riri all that well, though he wanted to know more about her.
He caught her hand in his and laced his fingers into hers, his other wrapping around her waist. His eyes were focused on their hands, "No Riri, it's my fault...I shouldn't have let you get the candy yourself, I should have stayed right there with you. You could have been hurt, and it would have been all my fault. You're brothers would have killed me Riri, and I'd never have let myself live it down." kisses her hand.

"I'm fine," her legs were a little sore from being grabbed like that, and she could feel a tinge of a headache from her scruff being held onto so roughly, but that was all. She laughed weakly at his comment about her brothers, shaking her head slowly.
"They wont know. It wasn't your fault," gripping lightly to the tom's hand, she smiled at his worry, blushing a bit when her hand was kissed...but she didn't pull away.
"Oh!" She pulled her free hand from the other's shoulder and reached back to where her bunny was--thank god he was still there--and pulled out one of the small bags of candy she'd managed to shove into her coat. "I still got some," she cooed, lowering their intertwined hands near their hips, not wanting to let go, "So the mission is still a success~" Leave it to her to find a way to make this positive. Ririka didn't like to dwell...with other people around, at least. She could with herself, by herself, but not around other cats.

Kouji smiled weakly, he was still slightly nerve wracked from the event but Rirka did seem to be all right after all and that was all that seemed to matter to him at all. He had completely forgotten his own safety at that point back there, and had blindly gone in to defend Riri, never had he done something like that before, or had ever been given any reason at all to attack a human, even if he had been shooed off, had things thrown at him, been kicked away and grabbed he had never attacked until then. He wondered what had come over him to make him do such a thing, not that he regretted it at all, in fact he was glad he had done it, but it would be a good while before it was likely any cats would be able to get into the store and get their paws on any sweets, a small price to pay for what could have happened to Riri.
"Not a bad flavor either." he said with a smile. It was a good flavor, one he was quite fond of, but the idea of sweet had lost its appeal for the most part after the shock of events. It would take some time to fully wear off where he would finally relax.
"Ririka..." he whispered, unable to raise his voice to normal level, he couldn't shake the things that were going through his head. He never thought this clearly, nor did he even go through a day without stumbling over himself, or making a fool of himself in some way.

Still smiling, despite his obvious nervousness and pent-up adrenaline from the event. She was still pretty riled up about it...but still, she was trying not to show it...however, his worry for her threw her off, since she wasn't used to such a thing...even in previous situations of danger she usually had HeeChul telling her to suck it up, or SiWon patting her and walking off.
This was just so different, so sudden...
Swallowing thickly, the ragdoll dropped her gaze when her name was said. Maybe...she could show it a bit more. Ririka let out a slow breath, leaning forward to close the minute amount of space between them to nuzzle into his neck. For now the sweets were forgotten, the hand holding them tucking them back into her hoodie and replacing against the small of his back, gripping loosely to his shirt. Hiding her face, Ririka brought their hands up to set to his collar, the sides of their hands to her lips. "Sorry.."

Kouji wrapped his arm around her tightly, laying his head carefully on top of hers. His heart nearly skipping a beat as he nuzzled into him and her lips brushed his hand. His face burned with her contact, oh if only Spinner could see him now, he'd never hear the end of this one. She'd harass him as long as his lived, or as long as she lived. But his mind was far from the thoughts of a tormenting Spinner, away from the idea of her brothers that would probably come after him is they knew what had happened in the candy shop.
He lifted his head off of Riri's and pushed up her chin to look at him. "Ririka, I'm really not used to this sort of feeling. I've never felt this way before.." he said looking at her bright blue, eyes, his pale in comparison to her own, the bright streaks on blond and pale, almost faded blue in her hair that looked so perfect on her. He didn't know what it was that made his hear flutter and skip, making it hard for him to breathe. He leaned forward, lightly touching his lips to hers, feeling their warmth and softness.

Ririka knew nothing of this Spinner, or how much torment their closeness could cause, but she wasn't complaining at all...And when he brought her chin up, she blinked at him, eyes slightly glazed over from the emotions hitting her.
What...did he mean? She didn't understand--but she did as soon as his lips met her own. Flushing instantly, the ragdoll debated for a split second--before relaxed and slowly leaning into the kiss.
The candy store incident isn't what he needed to fear with her brothers...the kissing might be though. He elder brothers weren't that crazy though, if they knew she was happy. Bah, why was she worrying about it? She was focused on Kouji right now.
Removing her hand from the man's own, she gently brushed her fingertips over his cheek, down to his jaw. She felt--comfortable, despite never being with anyone before. This wasn't all that embarrassing or anxiety-ridden...just calm, and comforting. Was that how it was supposed to feel?
