druqksfilm Iwa_Clay_Birds I think... I'd be the one stomping on the mouse in your story. Or at least picking it up by the tail... no, bad idea, those things have teeth. STOMP IT TO DEATH. >.< could i ask you why, you would even bother at all? if it was hiding, and not bothering anyone.. why would you feel the need to kill it? because you're scared of it? why not instead, find an official of the school, and get them to deal with it in a civil manner? confused edit: @ Divine_Malevolence: that's true. group mentality. Haha, no, I was lying. Only thing I've killed were mosquito and daddy-long-legs.
I'd grab my plastic bag (where my lunches are tucked in) and pick it up and stuff it in there. Then hand the bag to a teacher to properly free the held animal.
I've seen dead rats before. I picked them up and threw them away. I was so sad...

CH0Z0 I'd say the 2nd option, since the first and last one are quite insulting. That's just weird though, mice are cute. This. I could never purposely hurt an animal. :c

Wow... It's what TV does to kids... My dad regularly gets rid of squirrels stalking my garden D: We try to use like netting to just keep them out, but it doesn't work all the time, so the traps inside sometimes gets them Good thing it's not a slow death and they get proper burial ;_;
EDIT: We can't just let them go free, because there's nowhere to bring them, and they'd just come back... And get caught again (or probably not)

O.O Wow that's ******** up. I've witnessed some pretty hardcore rat killing but at least it was kind of humane. That's just... disgusting and unsanitary. I wonder if that kid does that sort of stuff in his free time... If I were you I wouldn't not hang around him. He clearly has some problems and it wouldn't surprise me if we see him on dateline in a couple of years.

Pretty quick (don't get me wrong sometimes it doesn't go as planned but generally it does). Stomping requires a lot of force and you're going to have to step on it more than once.

Based on the story there's no proof it died quickly. Blood going everywhere doesn't mean insta death. Assuming the guy stomped it once and blood spurted out. The mouse could still be alive and just bleeding out. Slow and painful. Also, we don't know where he stomped down on it. What if it was just the lower region? The tail would still be attached and the mouse would be in too much pain and stress to fight back.

The people cheering didn't help in it and therefore aren't as much of a risk.

He may not have felt catching it was an option. (Mice are slippery little bastards, hence why I used traps) Murder can in and of itself be a good act. But delighting in murder. In cheering it on. That's sociopathy.

What bothers me is that he stomped on the rat with a shoe, causing the blood to spill everywhere That means he's going to have to disinfect his foot, probably throw out the shoes and socks, and they're gonna have to do some hard core cleaning of the floor Traps offer quick, painless death, just like shooting someone in the head But, cheering... Now that's just messed up We cheer when we kill bugs Not mice or rats
