Wait, what? He had to go hunting now with her? Him and his stupid mouth. Now he had to show her how much he failed at hunting after boasting so much. Dusan thought a moment and looked to the side. How could he get out of this one? Or make it look like he knew what he was doing? Shifting from paw to paw, he looked back to the pale female and then towards the drier parts of the pride. Hm.
"Well, you can't come with me. 'cause.... Mouse hunting is only for males. Ask anyone in the pride," he said with a huge grin on his face. Lying through his front teeth, but she didn't have to know that.

"Then why does mama do it!?" She looked at him eyes narrowed and Skeptical. Tail flickering slightly while one ear was perched down and the other up. She'd seen mother do it. "She wouldn't do anything to get kicked out of here either. So don't try that either."
She was still watching him, "A'sides me and Tahki had fun playing with the mice."

Oh, damn. She'd caught his lie. Dusan's ears went back and he sighed a bit more before shrugging. "Well, it's usually for boys. I haven't heard of any girls liking mice," he looked at her for a moment before grinning like an idiot. "Oh, well. Whatever. I just don't want to hunt because I'm tired." Not exactly a lie, but not the whole truth. With a grunt and a yawn, Dusan illustrated his point.

Suzu chuckled, "Aww, well okay~"
She looked around, "Maybe we should head towards home then... prolly nap time anyways." She stretched, "See you around then?"
With that and a goodbye to Dusan she headed back towards home.
