I'm not sure if this really counts as 50% done yet, but my spare time is pretty patchy so I'll post a WIP now and edit this post as I get more done. Who knows, maybe I'll even manage to finish by the sixth. 3nodding Done!

Gaia Username: kitsune_reflection
Signature Used on Art: kitsune_reflection for the WIPs, a boxy bird symbol for the final version. You can see it there in the trees... the credit stuff is there too, but it's pretty small since this is the scaled down 50% size version. ^^;

May the person receiving your piece (the Kirin's respective owner) use your image outside of Gaia and their own image uploading host, such as Photobucket? : Not the WIP(s), no. I am okay with elfy and/or Llia posting the final version on non-art sites. Photobucket, facebook, livejournal: fine as long as I'm credited. Deviantart and other sites like it: not okay, even if I'm credited. I'm also not okay with the image being edited in any way, shape, or form.

By posting this form I realize I am confirming that I've read all of the rules, understand them, and agree to the terms and conditions they outline.

I apologize for my lack of punctuality everyone - life has been hectic both in positive and negative ways for me lately. The contest is closed and I plan to start judging a few days after Christmas.

Since not every prize category received entries I will simply pad the prizes that have received valid entries.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and for entering the contest!!! Happy Holidays ^_^

Ticket Handout

I used 9 different categories to handout tickets to each of the competing artists; they are as follows:

1.You entered = 5 tickets

2. Does the submitted piece resemble the subject?
(up to 10 tickets, 1 if it sort of does, 5 if it does, and 10 if there's no question that it does)

3. Did the artist include shadowing and highlights where applicable?
(For sketches 3D form or amazing 2D form will take the place of highlights and shadowing; worth up to 50 tickets depending on the accuracy and detail)

4. How detailed is the piece? This will be the overall detail - color, accuracy, clothing/markings where applicable, in depth scenes, etc.
(On a scale from 10 - 50, 50 being extremely detailed)

5. Color of any kind is worth a bonus 5 tickets

6. A background of any kind is worth a bonus 5 tickets

7. Detailed color (more than just a single color, and/or various shades) is a bonus 10 tickets

8. Unique poses/expressions are worth 10 bonus tickets

9. If I were an art teacher I would give you this grade:
C for trying = 5 tickets, B- for trying hard = 10 tickets, B+ for well above average = 20 tickets, A- for awesome = 25 tickets, A for amazing = 30 tickets, A+ for epic pwnage = 35 tickets

And obviously those who went above and beyond will receive a few extra tickets in the categories they are applicable to receive tickets for.
