Dae. Normal name. Again. See? All normal names. Oh piddle-wizzkins. At least he wanted to go see what was going on too, so she didn't have to meet him and leave him. He had an odd way of speaking too. Almost not... what everyone spoke. She didn't know how that was possible-- maybe the way foxes talked and also talked to wolves?-- but his words were not... quite like hers. Him wanting her name made her freeze, then she lifted her muzzle into the air as she prepared the answer she'd been mulling over.
"I'm Riel," she said, her voice coming across as rather haughty. She stared at him a moment, empty silence between them as she was at a loss for what to say next and he didn't seem to have an answer for a name. Her eyes shuttled briefly to one side, then back to him.
"Let's go."
She turned the way the voices had seemed to come from and ran in that general direction. They couldn't be far, if they overheard her and Dae talking, so all that was-- smell. Smelled like a smell.
Mordariel immediately halted, then turned left towards the flash of color between the stalks and ended up standing behind a black-and-red male. See? Most of these had color too. Even the boy with the brown had some black. None had as much color as her, though, which was a little disappointing. Well, this just meant the world wasn't nearly as colorful as her home, then. But that girl had some green to her! She hadn't met a wolf with no green before. Hadn't met many outside her immediate family, really, so that wasn't surprising.
"Hi." She wagged her tail to show her goodwill and looked back at Dae to make sure he'd stayed with her for her half-run. Her eyes moved back to the black-pelted female, who for some reason seemed to be the one leading this whole mis-matched band. "Why are you all out here alone?"

Numair took awhile to come back to his body from his thoughts, it was a horrible habit, loosing oneself to their mind. Looking about him he found himself a bit shocked, in his revere he had managed to find five other faces quite near by. Silly him, they could have been predators, and all he was thinking of was something silly like how to get home. He quietly contemplated what to say as he wandered closer to the other wolves in the surrounding area, chewing lightly on the inside of his cheek… what if they didn’t like him, what if he was nothing like them? It was then he slid into that brave character he had always dreamed he would be and strode forward, a cocked smile forming on his lips. “Mind if I join? I'm Numair.”

"Nice to meet you all~!" Eden intoned with a bright smile as two extra bodies came popping out the the grass and the hard-thinking boy she first saw joined in with a grin. Maybe pups grew here like stalks, so that if you called loud enough they would come out of the ground to join you in merriment. Maybe that's why it took them a little bit to reach her: they were busy shaking the soil off their fur. How wonderful! She would ask them about how it was to live underground later, if she remembered. It was hard enoug hto try and remember the names so far: Ithil, Numair, and that spotty boy who was easiest called Dae. A little over half the group, and already her mind was whirling!
"We're not alone, silly," Eden replied with a soft giggle as another, more green-hued girl inquired about their gathering. "There's six of us after all! But I've never heard of stare games, Ithil. My family taught me stuff like . . . like tag and hide and go seek! Oh, and I Spy, and Marco Polo in the shallow water. What about those?" she asked the group before her, quite frankly with no preference. She had new friends! <3

The pale female giggled. "You stare at each other and the last one still staring who hasn't blinked wins. I play at home. I don't really know those games though." she said shuffling her paws a little. She looked around at the others pups, there were so many of them. She had never expected to see so many others at once like this, especially not others around her own age.
Numair, Eden, Dae...she repeated the names in her head, adding them to memory, just in case later in her like she ran into them again and it wasn't an impossible thought. The others all looked so different, ranging in their colors and size and patterns, from the spots to stripes and patches, she almost felt plain with her pale colors that covered her soft pelt.
"I'm up for anything though" she said, her small tail circling again, she liked the idea of playing games with others, someone outside of her family, new experiences were always a fun thing, something special to her.
