"A sand castle?" He murmured, shifting a little bit on his feet before he gave a little nod of his head, "Ahh... sure." He wasn't as worried about his clothing at the moment since he was wearing clothing that was specifically made for wearing outside. It wasn't any of his pretty, fluffy clothing that he wore most of the time but instead stuff that he was made to wear since they were coming to this place, "I've never made one of them before but I'd like to try it."

He was willing to at least try it out since it would be fun to work with his new friend on the castle more then it would be to do so along.

Ai watched the way that Mikael was preparing the sand by adding water to it to make it more 'squishy' he'd called it. He tilted his head to one side, watching the way that he was working the sand with his hands to start the tower. He carefully moved to sit down next to him, reaching out to try to gather some of the sand himself in a careful manner. He was doing his best to help with the building of this castle but without getting himself to terribly dirty. It was a feat but he was working at it and gave a bit of a smile as he made the base of his tower in the shape of a heart. He grinned at it before looking over to see how Mikael was doing on his so far, "This is a lot of fun." He told him, he wasn't sure if he'd have fun at this at first but if one could get by the chance of getting dirty part it was actually interesting to make something with your own hands.

A squeak of surprise escaped from Ai as the two other children, ones he hadn't even noticed since his companion was far cuter, fell onto the castle that Mikael was making. His silver eyes went a bit wide and he jerked back and up onto his feet, brushing at the sand that had inadvertently fallen onto him. When the other two boys had landed it had kicked up a bit of sand that had ended up spraying in all directions.

"Ah... huh?" He looked over at Mikael and gave the other boy a smile though it was a little wobbly, "I'm ok." He tried to reassure him before returning to ridding his clothing of the last bit of clinging sand. While they were play clothes and nothing special compared to what he usually wore it didn't mean that he'd suddenly become a big fan of dirt.

"I'm sorry about your castle, Mikael... do you want to try to rebuild somewhere else?" Somewhere that they wouldn't be disturbed again, "Or do we want to play another game?"

Ai flushed a bit as his friend helped him to get rid of the clinging sand, his body pausing at the contact, then he gave a happy smile, "Its alright... I mean they are play clothes at least so... they are supposed to get dirty I think." Even so he couldn't say that he was a fan of getting dirty but at least it was in clothing that could take it. He looked himself over and seemed rather pleased with the results, Mikael had gotten ride of a lot of the sand and he didn't see any more of what had been clinging aggressively to him.

He shifted himself from foot to foot as he seemed to be thinking on the question, "I think... we should keep exploring, maybe we can find more shells. Oh! I heard about things called 'tidal pools' that fish and stuff get trapped in, maybe we can find one of those and peek into it?" He suggested, having read about them in a book that his guardian had gotten for him.

Ai happily trotted along after Mikael, looking from side to side as he was led along not wanting to miss anything. The moment that they got to the tidal pool though it had all of his attention and he gave a little giggle, "Wow!" He breathed, stepping closer and knelt down so that he could see the things that were moving around, trapped in the pool, and his lips turned up in a bright and happy smile, "How neat!"

He reached a hand forward slowly to poke at the shell of one of the crabs before pulling it back before the creature was able to pinch him which caused him to giggle a bit. He chewed lightly on his lower lip, looking thoughtful before he dared to reach out and poke the creature a second time and this time it got a little closer which made Ai decide that it might be best to stop teasing the shellfish, "I heard that they taste good." He said, looking up at Mikael, "Have you ever eaten a crab before?"

"I will need to see if Vanleia will get some of that sometime." He murmured, giving a bit of a smile at the idea of getting to try the taste of one of these strange looking animals. He turned to look over at the fish that Mikael was pointing at before his lips turned up into a happy sort of a smile, "Wow, how pretty." He murmured, leaning in closer to get a better look at the pretty fish, they were so colorful!

He pushed up to his feet, brushing away the sand that clung to him in a manner that he didn't want on his clothing even if he were wearing his play clothing as opposed to his nicer things. He just wasn't a fan of getting dirty without reason, "This is so much fun! I love playing with you, Mikael." Ai chirped happily, flushing as he made such a confession.

Ai gave his friend a happy snuggle back and then nodded slowly, "Ahh... yeah, she might be getting worried." He really hadn't noticed how much time had passed since he was having so much fun with his new friend while they played, now that he thought about it though he should likely get back to show her that he was alright.

"We should play together again sometime, Mikael I had a lot of fun." He chirped happily, lacing the fingers of one of his hands with those of his friend. Being close, touching, and showing affection was something that came naturally for Ai, especially with people that he liked so he thought nothing of it as he took hold of his friend's hand.
