I get my books from Amazon.com or from used or charity places. If I really like a book, I'll read it literally 12+ times. I think it helps me with my expresion both written and verbal. When I find a book I'm going to read upteen times, I'll buy a new copy preferably in paperback because of cost.

Well, I live in a country that practically doesn't read, so books are a major luxury. If you go to a book store, the cheapest book you'll find will be something like $15 which I can't afford at the rate I read books. So the English-speakers here do book exchanges. So when some one goes to the States or any other place, they stalk up on book from goodwill or any other place where we can buy them cheap and exchange them when we get back here. Unfortunately, some people read faster than they can exchange.
