Find out what profession works best for your server in terms of profit. On my server, miners are a dime a dozen. Everyone tries to gold farm from mining, but their are ironically very few blacksmiths. I took up blacksmithing, bought mats off the AH, crafted with them, and listed the crafted items. I was in the red up until Saronite ore, then it started paying off very well. I made around 800-1.2k a day just by buying off mats, crafting and listing the items on the AH. Not bad for 20 minutes work. I also had skinning as my 2nd profession. I don't quest level, I grind mobs, so it was pretty much a no brainer for me to take up skinning. Before that, I used to buy greens off the AH, disenchant them and sell them off. Made a couple hundred off of that. :3

Do daily quests...and then when you hit 80, do more daily quests. Depending on the gold from the rewards and what greys, blue, etc..you pick up and sell, you can make like 2,000 a day....well that's true for Sargeras, at least.

my pally is an enginner and i didnt train the profession probebly at start. So when i reached 80 i had to buy mats (i dont wanna bother looking for mats myself) to skill it up. And OMG it was really expensive, spent about 5k to go from 300 to 430.

Sell all you disenchanted items aka the stuff you get from disenchanting items. The mats go for a lot.

Of course, I always go mining and skinning (which is super easy to level). Those two profs make me tons of gold.

Only other thing I do is sell every green item I find on the AH.

If your server sucks you could always play the AH yourself. Trust me one person can jack up the prices if played the right way...I used to do it...I am such a turd I know it. Anyway, leveling gets you a decent amount of Gold but I understand you plight. I personally am poor in WoW and I NEVER spend my gold, I am a cheap little turd, I am! But from what I have observed, getting to 80 and hitting the heroics, farm the Frozen orbs, on my server they sell pretty damn well. Enchanting will make you some good money if you lvl it but lvling it takes gold...a lot of gold. But since ToC people are farming purples like madness and tend to drop group before rolling for DE's. As an enchanter I love this! But yeah lvl, do every quest you can find and not only will you get the rep needed to reduce the price for your epic flying ability but the gold will add up.

I would say questing and buying low and selling high in auctions will get you a lot of money. like i bought 20 cooper ore for like 80g each and sold 20 copper bars for 250g each.

If your mining is high enough for thorium, just farm that, it sells for 60g a stack on my current server and its always the thing that JC's need the most to hit outland level and its coveted by people leveling eng and BS as well.

Quest and do a lot of instances. Roll greed on EVERYTHING (unless you need it). I made most of my gold through questing and selling things on the AH. I'm also a skinner so I skin everything and then sell it. It works pretty well. I tend to make money faster than most people I know.

You could always try making light leather. Most of the time I see ruined leather scraps sell on the auction house for 1-10s each, and depending on the day there might be tons of it for sale.

So at most your cost would average at 30s to make one Light Leather, so as long as Light Leather's going sale price is at maybe 50s each you could make a lot of profit buying all the ruined scraps at once.

This would require just getting skill level 1 Leatherworking. You could also see if Borean leather scraps to Borean leather is a good ratio too since you don't need Leatherworking to mess with it. 3nodding

If you're seldom above three hundred gold you're probably spending too much of it. Swear off the auction house and just work on getting to eighty (unless you're putting up auctions, then go for it). If you sell your green drops you get while questing and only spend money on training you'll make money fast.

i never have or have had any luck making money off green drops. blues yeah and mats yeah but thats about it for me tho... i just normally vendor the greens i get if there secret to selling certain greens i'd like to know plz ty much
