Mashaka couldn't manage much of a response, in fact all that he got out was "yea". His planned had completely failed the cub was smiling again and it was really just a waste of his time.
"Well I suppose I should leave you alone, let you do what ever it is you were going to do on this fine hot day." Mashaka turned briskly this whole encounter had made him so angry, he was grumpy that his plan had not only not worked but completely backfired, in the end Mashaka was the one feeling down.
He began to walk away from his step brother only giving him one backwards glance.

Moyo's ears lowered some as his brother went off, but the cub did not follow after. In stead he went back to his little pool in the shallow of the water. It was so hot after all and the lion cub was panting.
That was an odd encounter for sure. Though, honestly, Moyo didn't know all that much about Mashaka. Maybe he was a little off most the time? Oh well, the lion cub would have plenty of time to get to know his step brother. He really did want to get to know him and possibly play with him.
For now, the cub rested in the water and watched as his brother went off.
