Hailie shrugged. "Maybe some people don't like koalas?" she reasoned. "I think he'll have to adjust to me."
He turned his head towards Lola. "What do you like then? I think Hailie has a lot more snacks and stuff in her bag." he offered, gesturing to Hailie's backpack.
"I know~!" He took a few more bites and laughed with Sally.

"Yeah, I think that's how it is with all ferments." She knew she was lucky in getting her girls. Both had been sweet and kind. Lola was into rich things, but that didn't bother Spooky too much.
"I like finer things." She said as she watched the other two ferments consume the red rope. "Like..." She tried to search for something she knew rich people liked to eat. "Cavier." She had heard of that, but didn't really know what it was.
Sally giggled and ate her rope. "I don't know what cavier is, but I think this rope is mighty tasty!" She watched as Lola rolled her eyes and she plopped down to sit.

"Finer things? Cah-vee-ar? Does that mean it's expensive?" he pondered, taking another bite of the delicious rope. He didn't know what was. Maybe Hailie did. "Hmm..Hailie? What's cah-vee-ar?"
"Cavier? Uh, it's salty fish eggs....I think." She wasn't 100% sure. She had never had it, but she knew the best kind was almost impossible to get(with her odd job money anyway).
"Well, do you have any?"
"..No."
"Oh.....well, can you get some?"
"No. It's too expensive."
"Oh," he sighed dejectedly. "Well, I could find you some of the more finer things of Hailie's bag for you. I think there's chips in there." He felt a little guilty for eating while Lola didn't have anything.

"It's fish eggs?" She didn't know that's what they were..."Well, I bet I would like them." She giggled as she saw her sister turn up her nose at the fish eggs. The girl was made with a fish on her tummy! "Nah, I'm not hungry.
Spooky shook her head at Lola. "She's my little rich girl." She smiled at the ferments. "Sally's more my sweet little princess." Sally had been called a princess by many, but it wasn't the normal bratty princess the more Princess Diana, princess.
Sally had turned up her nose at Sally. Fish eggs? Who in their right mind would want to eat those things? Lola loved the idea of rich things. She was nice like Sally, but Sally loved pretty much everything. She just enjoyed being with others and that was all that mattered.

Hailie glanced at her watch. 7:19? "Oh, goddamn.." she mumbled beneath her breath. She had to babysit at 8. Since the staff was no where to be found, she decided to just take Koala home. She couldn't just leave him with that woman. She already had two ferments and she couldn't leave him in the shop by himself. She turned to the woman. "Er, thank you for the company...but I have to leave. Got to go to work." Then she informed Koala. "Hey, little dude! We gotta go. Say goodbye to your friends."
"Aw," he whined. "I gotta go..." Now he wouldn't see his friends again. Unless..."Hailie! Can we come back tomorrow?"
She shrugged. "I guess so, but we have to leave--like--right now."
He nodded and smiled. "I guess I'll see you two later, then~!" And he hopped over to Hailie's bag to get situated.

"Oh, ok!" Spooky said as the girl randomly told her she was leaving. "It was nice meeting a fellow shop owner." She smiled and then smiled at Koala. "I'm sure you all will meet again!"
"By, and if you ever find cavier..." Lola called after Koala was put into the bag. She wasn't sure she really wanted cavier, but hey it's what the rich ate and she wanted to be rich!
"Bye Koala! It was nice seeing you!" Sally did hope to see him again. She liked meeting happy-go-lucky ferment like him. She bet he could alsways keep a smile on anyone's face.
((Finished?))
