MahayrQuote: That got a bit away from me... I was writing and did not see the two posts before I submitted. Please go on... medication is in the medicine pantry to the rear and left of the kitchen, it has everything. ranjir is locked in the kennels, so will be unable to get out to prepare breakfast or anything else, and no one bestter pick the lock, it is not a simple one. *Smiles to herself and fades from view* KethraQuote: She growls and mutters a bit about the poor service and having to do things herself when there is an perfectly good slave in that other room. She mutters and heads into the kitchen to start making some breakfast for herself. ShakespearQuote: Soluna nods his head a little and makes his way over to a large couch that is near the fire. He sits down on it with a sigh spilling some of the contents from one of his bag. They appear to be household items. Almost as if he and his wife had been forced to flee from where they lived rapidly. Hila MeiQuote: She dropped her bags next to the couch and leaned down to peck a brief kiss on his cheek. "I'll be right back," she said, then headed for the medicine pantry while rubbing her temples with her fingertips. ShakespearQuote: He nods his head a little. "Its ok..." He shivers a little bit... "Hey hun.. bring me back something to eat.. You might wanna get something for yourself as well.. you don't look so good..." He looks around for a blanket or something to help warm himself aside from the fire. Hila MeiQuote: "I will!" she called back. She roamed through the medicine cabinet but every included leaflet said the same thing. "Do not use during pregnancy." She'd just have to sweat it out then. When she walked into the kitchens, she spotted Kethra, looking a little edgy. "Um... hi," she addressed her hesitantly. KethraQuote: She stares at the other woman. "Hurmph... What do YOU? want?" Her voice and demenor indicating that it would probably be a very BAD time to talk to this particular woman, as she gathers up a warm soup and a large bread. Cassandra022Quote: Ayelet watched for several minutes with wide eyes as events unfolded within the inn. Her ears, sharper then most people would think, heard much of what happened, from the couple who didn't want to be found to the strange man that was carried of by the hostess. She didn't say anything else, instead clutching her cup and drinking from in, bigger gulps now that is had cooled off some. She didn't feel particularly comfortable in the increasingly crowded room. While the girl had been at ease among the other members of her troupe and around audiences, she had a dislike of being around large groups of people she didn't know. Inn's in particular weren't her favorite places in the world. And image of an old man groping her mother flashed into her mind on cue, fading quickly. It was one of the only ones since she had since entering the Inn, a pleasant change from the outside. And she was warm. She hadn't even realized she was cold until now, when sitting my the fireplace she could feel the chill in her bones. "I wonder if anyone else saw....maybe I'm just going crazy" she whispered, thinking aloud more then anything else. The last part of the sentence was muttered in ironic tones, as if she wouldn't be surprised if what she said was true. MahayrQuote: Slipping quietly from their chambers, the woman makes her way back down the stairs, through the kitchen, and stops in the doorway to the common room, looking at each occupant in turn and studying them a moment.
She can feel certain tensions and strains, and looks first at Kethra, frowning slightly as she juts a warning chin in her direction. Her eyes move to the resting man, the girl - still quiet where she sits - and the obviously exhausted woman a few paces away - in the kitchen.
Turning back and working briskly she prepares a tonic tea with practiced skill and speed, lifting the finished product in its heavy mug to approach Nin with a new smile, holding it out for her easy reach.
"Here you go... drink this. It is an herbal mixture of my own recipe, and you will find it safe for your tender bun. It will ease your exhaustion and your aches. Go and rest... I will have the table set and dinner served." MahayrQuote: Hearing the girl stir and murmur, Mahayr turns to her, shuffling her feet across the worn and familiar floor to tuck her quilt a bit tighter and take the empty mug. Bending to speak to her in a whisper, her expression is comforting and serene.
"You are not going crazy... it is the fog, we are all affected to some degree. It will be better indoors, but some misty slips may still touch you now and then. Do not fret, you are safe with me. Dinner will be soon... and I will hve the fire stoked. Rest a little longer." Hila MeiQuote: Taking the cup with a grateful smile she nodded. "Thank you," she said and smiled again before walking back to her husband and sitting down on the couch next to him. "Dinner will be ready soon," she explained, sipping from the tea, feeling the head ache almost drain out of her. She took his hand and put it on her belly. "He says hello. Or she." She smiled more, snuggled up close and closed her eyes for a while. Cassandra022Quote: Ayelet watched the woman walk towards her and brought up her eyes to meet the gaze of the other woman. Pushing a strand of hair out of her face once again, she put the now-empty mug down near her. She nodded as she listened to the other woman's words, remembering the strange, thick fog that seemed to permeate through everything; it wasn't hard to believe it was the cause of the flashbacks. Yes, it had decended quite suddenly -- she remembered now. The girl had gone on a walk after changing from the last performance of the night, walked and walked until she got lost, and then the fog descended. She shivered slightly, though she was no longer cold. Nodding, Ayelet managed a small, grateful smile. She wasn't sure of the promise of safety -- she never really believed promises of that sort from anyone, but food did sound nice. She smiled ruefully at the thought -- hungry as she was, Ayelet strongly suspected she wouldn't be eating all that much. Picky did not even begin to describe her eating habits; the girl practically lived off of bread, honey, nuts, and figs. "Thank you" she said once again, just as softly as before, and turned her gaze to the rest of the room, observing the others.

MahayrQuote: Straightening her back and flexing her shoulders, she returns to the kitchen and soon the servants have set the table and laid it with fresh roasts - pork and beef - large platters of fresh, fire-roasted new potatoes, carrots, and green beans... bread, butter, fruits and cheese.
There are plenty of napkins, goblets, chilled lemonade and water, mugs and warm cocoa, tea, and cider.
Seeing everything in order, she announces dinner from the kitchen, gesturing towards the roomy dining area and large table. Cassandr022Quote: Seeing others do the same thing, Ayelet stood up upon hearing the hostesses' announcement. She realized suddenly that she didn't even know the woman's name, and resolved to ask when the opportunity arose -- it was almost ridiculus, to sit in someone's Inn and eat their food without even knowing what to call them. Not knowing what to do with the empty mug, the girl opted for leaving it where it was, and began to walk towards the dining room, along with others. When she entered the room, the smell of the food wafted up towards her, simutaneously stimulating and disgusting her. It was the smell of the meat, primarily, that disgusted her so. For one who cared for animals as much as she, cooked animal flesh was repulsive. She schooled her reaction however, not letting even the barest hint show on her features; this was something she was good at by now. Being anything but polite and gracious in such a situation as this was almost unthinkable to her. Walking towards the table, Ayelet poured herself some tea -- her favorite drink -- and after waiting a few moments to make sure she wasn't the first one to do so, she put some food on her plate. In this case, that happened to be a thin slice of bread, a peice of cheese, and a small mound of carrots and beans. By her standards, it was more then she usually ate in a meal, for Ayelet was in the habit of eating small meal/snacks throughout the day, but she was hungry and the food looked delicious. Instead of digging in, however, she turned to the others; partly this was out of courtesy -- it wouldn't be right in her mind to start eating before everyone filled their plate -- and parially out of curiosity. Now she could get a good close look at everyone. The girl realized she was probably the youngest person in the room. This amused her somehow, and she allowed a small smile to play on her features. MahayrQuote: Remaining where she is, a close eye is kept on her guests and she watches the girl and the others in silence, her lips retaining an easy smile, nevermind the reminders of unrest and questions.
She is not hungry, herself, at the moment and is content to watch and wait, observing their manners and customs, their interactions and body language. Not much escapes her.
She allows the preparation of meats not by her own choice, being a vegetarian for her own reasons... her love of animals and nature only part of those.
Shifting her weight to one leg, she leans against the door frame and breathes a bit easier, more relaxed now that the meal is served. Slipping her hands into her sleeves, she closes her eyes a moment and hums under her breath... the words sung only to herself. LeonisQuote: The Sky Mouse slips down through the fog dispelling it just around himself so that he himself is not touched. He makes his way to the door and slips inside moving quietly and as a fine mist himself. He moves under everyone in the Inn's feet and making a small circle on the bottom of each shoe stick sticks a single gold coin to each shoe of everyone in the Inn. Sliping out just as silently. Hila MeiQuote: Nin, having moved to the dinner table, filled her plate with some potatoes and roast beef and observed the other guests. That one woman she was now resolved not to talk too, the quiet girl, their hostess... It would probably be safe for at least a while and she turned her head to direct a small smile at Soluna. ShakespearQuote: Soluna sits beside Nin and looks at her a little bit. He then looks at the food and makes a slight blegh face but then starts to load up as well pick up some more food and putting it on Nin's plate. Hila MeiQuote: She smiled a little and shook her head as he piled more food on her plate."This will do." She then nodded encouragingly at the food, but said nothing, knowing fully well that it was nothing like what he was used to. After having brushed a strand of thick black hair behind her ears, she started eating, slowly, savouring the food calmly. ShakespearQuote: Grimaces a little and begins to eat slowly, carefully. Each mouthful carefully measured. He chews it 200 times before swallowing he moves a bit closer to Nin and takes a bit off of his plate trying to "hide" it on her's sort of as a joke, sort of because he does not really care for the food but does not want to upset their hostess. Hila MeiQuote: Nin chuckled, but then decisively shoved the food back onto his plate. "You need it," she said softly. "You don't know how far we have to go still." Her stern expression softened and she kissed his forehead. "Just eat it." ShakespearQuote: He mutters a little about pushy wives but finishes the food on his plate looking at Nin with little stars in his eyes he wraps his arm around her pulling her a bit closer to him. He nibbles a little on her ear. Hila MeiQuote: She laughed and blushed deeply as she could feel the other guests look away wearily. "S-stop that," she giggled, poking his side. "I bet you're disgusting people," she added, softly, not wanting to be overheard. Nin wiggled away from his grasp and prodded his stomach with her index finger. "Now get some control," she reprimanded him while putting some fruits on his plate. "And eat your dessert." ShakespearQuote: Stares at her and makes a blerg like face. "Do I have to?" He looks over to her not really trying to hard to contain his apparent dislike. Hila MeiQuote: Nin stared back and for a brief moment just looked him in the eyes without speaking. Then she shrugged. "No." Picking some grapes off of his plate she turned her head and mindlessly stared at the fog outside. ShakespearQuote: Soluna smiled and snuggled up against her closing his eyes some resting against her. Blinking as he shifts feeling an odd weight on the soles of his shoes. Hila MeiQuote: She kept staring out the window, every so often popping a grape into her mouth. For some reason the grey thickness, from a safe distance, calmed her nerves. "Sit still," she said with a smile as Soluna kept wiggling next to her. "You're going to make him seasick," she joked.

Cassandra022Quote: Ayelets eyes continued to watch the others for a few moments. When they started eating, the girl turned her gaze to her own plate. She ate slowly, carefully, taking a small bite of her bread, chewing and swallowing. Then a peice of cheese. Chew, swallow. Then a bit of the carrots and beans. She traced the fork around her plate a bit, making unseen designs on it. She remembered a time when there had been no forks and no plates, and this time she wasn't sure if it was the fog that brought up the memory. The girl once again brought up her violet gaze, focusing on the two -- the couple -- seated across from her at the table. She didn't stare, knowing better then that, but nonetheless managed to observe them in between dainty bites of food. She finished the tea and refilled her cup. Their dynamic was interesting...Ayelet had always been interested by the dynamic, the interactions of people, of watching them from the sidelines. She wasn't comfortable however, not here and now among strangers. She wanted to go back, to see the faces of old Mathilda, and Hadorn, and even the three jesters, all of which were surely quite drunk by now. She didn't want to stay here longer then she had to, no matter how nice the people seemed. She continued eating with a studied neatness which seemed almost unnatural, as if she were purposely putting all her effort into it, to distract herself, and in her mind the girl resolved to ask the hostess about leaving as soon as dinner was done. Fog or no fog, she wouldn't be trapped again. GlaciaIpsilQuote: *goes mini-sized and curls up on Leonis's head* LeonisQuote: The Great Sky Mouse blinks as he finds a gryphon like creature curled up in his hair. He blinks and picks it out of his hair and sets it in his lap and pets it as he looks down muttering a bit as there is no one else who dares to try his Fog of Memories. MahayrQuote: Coming down the stairs quietly, she stops just inside the main doors and stands there listening, her lips in a small smile as she slips her hands into her sleeves to get her bearings and prepare for the day, having been away overly long. MahayrQuote: Moving back into the dining hall, she watches patiently as they finish, rise, and make their way to their rooms. Frowning slightly, she looks at their feet, hearing the taptaptap of something metalic with each footfall. Someone has been up to something...
Motioning to the servants, they see to the cleaning up and putting away... leaving the kitchen and rooms fresh and ready for the next days meals and meanderings.
Seeing things done, she returns to her own chambers for the night, wondering about the shifting fog, her several guests, and the Mouse.
We will see... time will tell... and with that she closes her door and finds the comfort of her bed. MahayrQuote: Morning comes all too soon and she rises, washes, and dresses carefully for the day, looking out the window to inspect the lands. The fog seems not quite as dense, and her mood is not quite as careful, and her chest is eased of some constriction and worry.
Taking a deep breath, she runs her hands over her robes and turns... out the door and down the stairs into the kitchen where she gives quick instructions for breakfast preparations before entering the main hall and settling near the fire.
Surely everyone will be coming down soon, although they were certainly fatigued and should rest until they are refreshed. Pulling her weave from under her furs, she stitches slowly, her thoughts her own. nomeeQuote: Wandering in, blurry eyed, a soft, "Hello, I do hope that's coffee I smell" escaping from tired lips. GlaciaIpsilQuote: *stares up blankly sitting on all fours* GlaciaIpsilQuote: *there she rests curling up and just chilling for now. There...really was not much else to do, she was not planning on going anywhere.* LeonisQuote: The Sky Mouse continues to pet the creature muttering he plucks one of its shiny feathers and tosses it in the air muttering a few words he causes it to begin to snow and rather heavily. Likely trapping any inside, and if the roof is not a good strong one in time possibly collapsing it. MahayrQuote: Smiling up at nomee, she juts her chin towards the kitchen... coffee it is, among other things.
Rising as she glimpses the white flakes, she moves to the window once again, looking out with another smile... loving the snow as she does. Good thing for the extremely sturdy building and roof, there will be no danger of any collapsing or other damages.
She remains where she is for a while, watching the outside, inhaling the aromas.

nomeeQuote: Rising, with a hot cup of coffee. Sipping lightly and shaking head gently. Standing in the center of the room, closing eyes, muttering a series of words. A transparent dome appears to protect the house, causing the heavy snow to mealt on contact. nomeeQuote: Resettling, cross legged, near a window to watch the majesty of fat swaying snowflakes. MahayrQuote: Leaning forward with her hands on the windowsill, she looks out with a squint as the dome appears and she realizes what it is and the effect it has on the falling snow. Snow that is falling out -there- and not -here- any longer.
Looking back over a shoulder there is little doubt in her mind who the source is and she smiles again, allowing it to remain. For now. LeonisQuote: He mutters and blows and the snow becomes not a simple snow storm but a heavy blizzard in near white out conditions. The wind howls as it whips away the fog and howls louder down the chimney threatening to put out the fire. nomeeQuote: Glancing over at Mahayr Some weather we're having Setting empty cup nearby. Flicking wrist in a practiced motion, lowering hand with a wink and taking a bite out of a warm danish nomeeQuote: Blotting mouth lightly with fresh napkin, looking around with appreciation What a beautiful room this is. Such a nice place to take a relaxing break. With a snap of manicured fingers, cup and napkin vanish with nary a sound What a night I had. I can't believe I'm awake right now, but I'm glad I am. Such wonderful winterland out there. Uncrossing legs and lounging comfortably, still able to see the fierce storm just beyond the protected shield around the house MahayrQuote: Turning to look at nomee as she speaks, she shuffles her feet across the floor narrowing the distance and resettles near the woman. Folding her hands in her lap she regards her with another smile as she nods her agreement.Yes... quite the weather. I wonder at the source... more than likely it is not natural, and judging from the wind will not let up anytime soon. Thank you for the dome... I wonder too if that will last. Thank you, its an old building but well-kept. I think it will hold up, regardless of his attempts otherwise. We are all safe here. Beautiful, it is... whatever the source. nomeeQuote: I'm off to take a much needed nap. Rising gracefully, nodding at Mahayr. Waving playfully at the "storm-maker". Placing hands on hips and arching back in a gentle stretchI'll see you soon. Looking, with a raised eyebrow, over at the embers in the fireplace Oh no, that will never do. Closing eyes in light concentration as the fire rekindles and cheerfully crackles and pops Much better. Leaning down to place a light kiss on the cheek of her hostess Be well Fading away and finally vanishing in a glittering shimmer MahayrQuote: Touching her cheek with her fingertips she watches the woman go, glad she was able to spend at least a few minutes with her. She tucks the furs tight around her legs, watches the snow from where she kneels, and waits for the Mouse to make his next move. Hila MeiQuote: Nin came down the stairs, covering her mouth as she yawned. "Morning," she mumbled softly to no-one in particular. "Pretty bad weather, huh?" she said casually, taking a seat near the fireplace. She'd normally pull her legs on the seat and rest her head on her knees, but her belly was starting to get in the way. ShakespearQuote: Soluna yawns comming down the stairs rubbing his eyes a little with a slight smile on his face as he makes his way over to Nin. He smiles and sits on the arm of the chair wrapping his arms around her resting his head on her shoulder. Hila MeiQuote: Nin smiled back and snuggled into the comfortable chair. "You know, we should start thinking about names," she mumbled, her eyes closed as she leaned back. ShakespearQuote: He nods his head a little... "Aye.. though I was brought up that since it is the female who has put up with it that she is the one which is allowed to pick the name..." He smiles and puts a hand on her tummy. Hila MeiQuote: She smiled and put her hand on his. "I like that, but that doesn't mean I don't want your opi- did you feel that?" she interrupted herself, smiling even more. "He kicked," she explained and kissed his cheek lovingly, "did you feel it?" ShakespearQuote: He blinks and nods "How do you know it is a he?" He smiles. "It might be a little girl that looks just like her beautiful mother." He smiles and nuzzles her. "What was your mother's name?" Hila MeiQuote: "I don't, but it sounds really bad to say 'it' all the time. And if it's a girl she'll understand perfectly," she joked, nuzzling back. "Angela," she then said. ShakespearQuote: Soluna smiles nods as he kisses her neck moving down her frame kissing her extended tummy. "You look so good like this." He grins "You know I may try to keep you like this" He grins and gives her a playful wink. Hila MeiQuote: "Right," she chuckled and patted his head. "And how big exactly do you want our family to be?" she then asked, raising one eyebrow. ShakespearQuote: *looks around and pulls out a quill pen and starts to write in a the manner of his namesake, The Bard* ShakespearQuote: He shrugs a little. "Not really sure... I say how about a nice round dozen?" He smiles and nuzzles against her. "We could move away and then use their help to help us set up a little farm. Or explore a cave system just for us..." He smiles and nuzzles her rotound frame. Hila MeiQuote: Nin laughed, nuzzling him gently. "Let's just see how it goes with this one first, shall we?" she said, smiling. "I think we ought to get some breakfast, by the way." ShakespearQuote: He smiles and nods his head looking at her he backs away a bit. "Yeah. Hun... do yah need some help up?" He looks at the chair and then her and her tummy and offers her his arm. "Ready when you are, love. Though the food could be a bit better" he confides to her. Hila MeiQuote: She rolled her purple eyes and smiled. "Oh please, I'm still perfectly mobile," she mumbled, but let herself be helped up anyway. "You're just too picky, the food is delicious," she whispered back as they approached the breakfast table, poking his stomach a little. ShakespearQuote: He mutters a bit and pokes her tummy back. "Any you are not picky enough" He gives her a wink to show that he is joking. "I mean look at that tummy.. it is getting bigger everytime I look away!" Hila MeiQuote: Giggling she ran her fingers through his hair and messed it up. "And of course you wouldn't have anything to do with that?" She sat down and smiled, reaching for some toast and strawberry jam. ShakespearQuote: He laughs joking. "Of course I don't.. I mean you don't see me forcing food down your throat.. do you?" Hila MeiQuote: "No," she said and just smiled while nibbling the slice of toast slowly. She was starting to feel more and more at ease in the inn and she was sort of glad to be stuck with the blizzard outside. ShakespearQuote: He smiles and nuzzles against her not eating much but putting food on her plate as he gets up and grabs himself a clay mug that has no finish or color on it. He pours himself some hot tea and goes over to her. Hila MeiQuote: She smiled as he put more food on her plate and followed him with her eyes. Finishing the extra food he'd put on her plate, she put her head on his shoulder and tried to surpress a yawn, but failed miserably. ShakespearQuote: He smiles and holds her close against him murrering softly. "Did you not get enough sleep last night love? If you need more feel free to go up and take a nap... I don't think there is really all that much we can do around here with this storm. Hila MeiQuote: "I'll be fine," she said stubbornly, but didn't move. MahayrQuote: Moving about the Inn soundlessly, she sees to this and that with quiet expertise... taking care not to disturb the guests or interfere in private conversations.
She sees to the setting out and clearing away of each meal; the spiffing of the rooms; the servants and guards; the stables and pets.
At the end of the day and her business, she returns to her furs and settles easily, straightening her back and shoulders, pulling out her weave and attacking it with new gusto even as one ear and one eye remain attuned to the slightest sound or movement... inside or out.

LeonisQuote: Leonis continues to pet the female pet in his hand. He muttered to himself that it looked human enough, but was obviously still just an animal. He continues to look down stopping the blizzard but not the snow having a new plan. He intends to trap them in the inn until spring. He shall pile up snow as deep and thick as he can for that shield must eventually weaken. MahayrQuote: Turning her head to look outside, she smiles to hersweetself, nonplussed. Let it fall, let them become snow-bound, let the seasons and the gods have their fun... fair or foul. Content in her knowledge of her own supplies, vast storage capabilities, and more than enough help, she slides her weave away and flexes her fingers before twisting them together loosly and resting her hands in her lap. KethraQuote: *Eyes Mahayr* Mmmm Hey pretty thing MahayrKethraQuote: Kethra laughs and huggles the cute older woman and nuzzles her. You know I am simply paying you a high compliment" She grins and places a kiss on Mahayr's lips. "So.. what does a cute thing like you do for entertainment around here?" MahayrQuote: Discomfitted and unsure, the woman rises, alternating between nervous (and deeply chagrined) laughter and crimsoned embarrassment. She covers her lips with the tips of her own fingers and steps back, keeping a respectable distance between the forward female.I serve. KethraQuote: She smiles and continues advancing slowly looking like the cat that has the canary cornered. "Oh... Serving? Hurm... that is VERY interesting.. because I enjoy being served." She smiles as she continues to slowlt advance towards Mahayr. MahayrQuote: Too slow... the woman bolts abruptly and suddenly, weaving her way through the well-known room and into the kitchen, up the stairs, into her chambers and slamming and locking the door! No other way in, she might point out! KethraQuote: Kethra mutters but not to be detered she dashes after the woman muttering she knocks lightly on the door then sits down to wait knowing the woman can not stay in the room forever. She has to come down for food sometime. MahayrQuote: Ignoring the knock and hearing the hall go quiet, Mahayr slips under the heavy covers and lies there fully clothed, touching the mark on her face. Feeling the responsive flare, she smiles to herself and drifts off, reassured and safe. ShakespearQuote: Soluna mutters and fusses around her for a bit before giving up and allowing her to go on her own. As he heads to the library to see what sort of writings they have. On the way he realizes one good thing about this storm is that if this place can't be seen he can't be found. MahayrQuote: Opening the door carefully, and seeing the sleeping Kethra on the floor, she carefully closes it behind her, and with light steps sneaks past her and down the stairs into the kitchen where she stays long enough to make sure everything is in order and the servants are attending to their duties.
With that done, she enters the main room and looks around a moment before making her way to her favorite window and looking out into the day. GlaciaIpsilQuote: *stays perched with Leonis, letting him think whatever he wanted...for now and enjoys the attention with her lil' birdie legs spread open and forepaws resting on his palm, enjoying herself with a lil' beakish smile* MahayrQuote: Moving from the window after some time, she pads quietly to her furs, kneels easily, pulls out her weave and stitches while she waits comfortably for the other guests to stir... or more trouble to arise. LeonisQuote: He continues to stroke the creature. He talks to it really not expecting it to answer back. "Hurm.. what shall we do to them now?" He mutters some as he cools the air as cold as can be. The very light itself becomming solid. GlaciaIpsilQuote: *starts to shutter in his hand curling into herself and erally becomes a little furry icey blue ball of fur and feathers giving off the impression she is part armadillo* nomeeQuote: Walking in shivering, stamping feet . Walking to the cold hearth. Closing eyes briefly, mummering. Standing in front of a roaring and crackling fire Hello? Hello? Loooking around while removing layers of warm, wet clothing. Shaking out the wet and laying them out to dry. Is anyone home? Wandering into the kitchen. Pulling out a small pot, filling it with water and placing it on the stove to boil. LeonisQuote: He smiles and continues to pet the creature in his lap blinking a little and noting its odd shape. "Hurm.." he hurms softly to himself "Shape shifting... Yes... That might be interesting..." He smiles the snow turns from being white to being a pale yellow color he smiles and just waits for someone to leave, the trap being set. nomeeQuote: Finding a large cobalt blue mug, rinsing and drying and setting on counter. Rummaging around for a few mint leaves. Finding mint leaves and placing them in the mug. Finding two teabags of Earl Grey, placing in cup. Slipping towel around the handle of the pot of water and pouring hot water into mug. Efficiently cleaning, drying and replacing pot in its proper place. Gliding to an area in front of the fire. Settling and sipping hot minted tea MahayrQuote: Rousing from her reverie, she smiles listening to nomee, although she will remember to fuss at the girls for not having things prepared as people come and go.
Looking over at the other woman, she flicks a wrist for one of them to get her a hot cup of her own tea and straightening her back, smooths warm hands over her furs.Good evening... very nice to see you again. What have you been about today? I've missed you. Flicking her wrist again, she motions one of the male servants into action... bolting and locking all the doors. Trouble afoot, she fears... they best all stay indoors until she can ascertain the source. nomeeQuote: Eyes shining with warmth as she looks in the direction of Mahayr I have missed you too. How are you feeling today? Shifting, watching her graceful hostess settle nearby nomeeQuote: Laundry is the name of this day. Very little change on the homefront. I had a session with one of the mystics yesterday. Interesting year coming up. Settling back comfortably, prepared to enjoy good company and easy conversation

MahayrQuote: She smiles more warmly and settles more back on her heels, her eyes sparkling... glad of the company and friendship. Ah, well... I am on the mend, I do hope. These things tend to hang on overly long, it seems. I saw another physician yesterday, a secret guest in the outer wing. He advised... well. Nevermind what he would have me do and not do! Hahahaha. Fortunately there are the servants, and Sqarr not far away. This time. nomeeQuote: Nodding. Stretching out legs, crossing them at the ankles That is indeed good news. I spoke to S'qarr, briefly, the other day. I remember mentioning that it was not a good idea for you to get overtired or to do too much. I feared your recovery would be slowed. Sipping on the cooling tea, munching on a mint leaf. MahayrQuote: Taking her delivered tea into her hands and wrapping her fingers around its warmth, she sips it steadily before answering, thinking about what she said. Yes, I know. I really should take better care, perhaps I will learn that one day. Soon. Hahaha. nomeeQuote: Looking on with concern See that you do. 'Tis foolish to take your health for granted. I attended a festival of sorts, yesterday. Traditional music and dancing. Eyes cloud with memory. A small smile tiltling one corner of her mouth The dancers were entertaining and agile. Quite beautiful in their silks and jingling jewelry. MahayrQuote: Smiling again, she nods her understanding. Truning her head a moment to look out the window, she wonders briefly about someone's plans, but turns back to regard the other woman again and forces it out of her weary mind. Oh, you know... I am not accustomed to such a thing. Thinking about myself, putting things aside, resting... How lovely. I always mean to find one of those, and attend... they always elude me until its too late. I should pay more attention.

nomeeQuote: Nodding sagelyPerhaps it is time for you to begin thinking of yourself, a bit. I would not like to ponder, in the least, any thought of you doing damage to yourself. MahayrQuote: Mmm. Perhaps. One of these days. nomeeQuote: Reaching out a hand conversationally and lightly patting Mahayr's leg.Oh, you should have been there. The music was lively and the host and hostess gracious. They've extended an invitation to me to visit their home. I am truly looking forward to it. They hail from the land of the Sphinx. A colorful and interesting couple they are. Settling back on elbows, feet wiggling near fire. Looking over shoulder at Mahayr as she bustles out to fix dinner. I shall be here for a bit. MahayrQuote: Returning from the kitchen and laughing softly, her eyes go nostalgic as she rekneels and again looks out the window. Perhaps he would appear soon. Perhaps.
Soon. nomeeQuote: Looking about I'm sure he's off stirring up things elsewhere and will return, once he realizes you're here. MahayrQuote: Moving her arm to play her fingers lightly across the mark on her cheek, it flares brightly a scant second before calming and she smiles again, sure he is indeed close by. Ohyes... stirring he most likely is. He realizes, always, where I am. nomeeQuote: Eyes shining playfully Well, of course he does. You glow. You caste your own alluring allumination. Many are drawn to it. Didn't you know that? MahayrQuote: Lowering her arm she sips again, colouring rather at the woman's praise. Looking back at her she smiles again, nevermind her small embarrassment. I think it is more a reflection of his own light. nomeeQuote: raising an eybrow Yes, ok, Ms. Modest

KethraQuote: She mutters and slips downstairs believing Mahayr simply playing hard to get. Ah.. but that was the way that she liked them. Fiesty. She smiled and looked around making her way over to Mahayr and nomee MahayrQuote: Her own eyes dancing playfully, she juts a chin at nomee and settles once more, sipping the tea and relaxing in the warmth of the fire's glow... and a friend's comfort. ranjirQuote: Ranjir whimmpers softly having been forgotten in the kennels he sits there wondering what he is being punished for. He has not recieved food nor water for several days and is beginning to show the signs of neglect. He curls up in a corner shivering for the kennels are not nearly as well insulated as the rest of the inn and he is thin and has little in the way of thick clothing. MahayrQuote: Hearing the trouble-making Kethra, she frowns suddenly, watching her approach with some reticience. Wonderful... a forward female. Narrowing her eyes in obvious warning, she points a finger at her with thinly veiled hostility. You stay a distance from me. KethraQuote: The woman seems to almost dismiss nomee but stops and nods to her as she makes her may over to Mahayr sitting near her wrapping an arm possessivly about her pulling her a little bit closer to her she smiles a deadly sweet smile. nomeeQuote: Turning to Mahayr questioning at the woman's actions Does she know that there is no need for such a display? Mahayr ranjir Ranjir whimmpers softly having been forgotten in the kennels he sits there wondering what he is being punished for. He has not recieved food nor water for several days and is beginning to show the signs of neglect. He curls up in a corner shivering for the kennels are not nearly as well insulated as the rest of the inn and he is thin and has little in the way of thick clothing. Her mind drifts a moment to the slave in the kennels and she smiles to herself, quite certain he may be dreaming of neglect when in fact his care would be foremost in her thoughts, always. His tending would have certainly been timely and efficient. Or heads would roll, and they knew it.
Still... it has been long enough, and she signals one of the Keepers to release the man forthwith.

nomeeQuote: Turning to Mahayr questioning at the woman's actions Does she know that there is no need for such a display? Handing warm clothing to waiting servants hands. Resettling nearby sipping tepid tea MahayrQuote: Making a rude sound in her throat, she rises, pulls free and backs away from the female and stomps a foot with impatience. Scowlling, she pokes her finger in her direction again, punctuating each word as it is spoken...You *jab* stay *jab* away *jab* from *jab* me *JAB*! Muttering a threat under her breath, she thinks of whips and chains. KethraQuote: She mutters staring at the woman. "Why do you deny what we both KNOW you feel?" She smiles as she stares directly at Mahayr smiling... "Hurm.. whips and chains... Yes.. they CAN be fun.. can't they" she winks suggestivly at her. nomeeQuote: Nodding at the curt response, tucking legs underneath comfortably. Prepared to watch and learn MahayrQuote: Pacing in front of both of them, she throws her arms into the air before dropping her hands to her hips and stopping in front of the offending person with a huff. Do not suppose to read my thoughts, do not touch me again, and do not be stubborn with your attempts. You will regret it. Sooner than you may think. nomeeQuote: Rising silently, moving into the other room to give the two a bit of privacy MahayrQuote: Watching the other woman go with some chagrin, she frowns again, looking back at Kethra with distaste.

the fuzz222Quote: Mittsame wakes up outside near the inn. He immediatly pulls his cape close to him- "HOW IN THE WORLD IS IT SNOWING IN THE SUMMMER TIME?????? First the black underware tree.... next the cotton candy lake.... then the wierd fog.... now THIS???? -He brings his cape to his face and walks to the door of the nearby inn, he bangs on the door- "HEY! IS ANYONE IN HERE?????" -He waits and to his dismay no one responds. He growles and gathers his chakra into his hands {Suna Shunshin no Jutsu} and dissapears in a viel of sand. He appears in the center of the Inn and dries himself off- "Hmm... i may as well catch up on my reading...." -He takes out a book with the words "Icha Icha Paradisu" on the front and a big "Do not enter sign on the back. He sits down on the nearby couch and starts to read- ((Btw... the book is a adult fantasy romance novel.... not sutiable for readers under the age of 18.... yah... my chara's a perv ^_^;; wink *waves* Hey Mahayr! I see that you have finished your pilot goggles quest... I might get started again with the Rp contest... if my responsibilities as a mod of my guild doesnt adsorb my life.... nomeeQuote: Standing in the kitchen, looking around for some small crust of bread, perhaps some soup Hello, fuzz. Nice to see you. Nodding in greeting MahayrQuote: Having seen nomee enter the kitchen she know the servants will see she has no trouble finding what she needs. the fuzz222Quote: (( thats not my chara's name... in the rp i go by Mittsame...)) Mittsame looks up from his novel at the voice that he heard "Ahh... nice to meet you as well, may i have the pleasure of knowing your name?" ranjirQuote: ranjir stummbles out of the kennels he asks where She can be found and is pointed in the right direction. He stummbles in and kneels at her feet, prostrate on the ground. "Mistress.. Mahayr... tell this one what he did to displease you, that he will know and not make the same mistake again... He.. he is sorry he displeased you. Please forgive him." nomeeQuote: Entering common room, moving to the far side out of the way. Kneeling, placing platter of soup, cheese, and bread on small table. Settling and sipping lightly. mmmm. delicious MahayrQuote: Striding back to her furs and rekneeling there as ranjir approaches, she faces him and smiles quietly, even as she reaches forward to touch his shoulder lightly. You did nothing to displease me, I locked you in to keep you safe and out of harm's path! There is nothing to forgive. The danger is passed for the moment, we are all locked in safe and sound, and so you are released. I trust your head is cleared? nomeeQuote: Looking at Mittsame kindly. Blushing, at the mistake of name In this place I am Nomee Looking to ranjir and shaking head Now may not be the best time to approach Quietly, resumes sipping soup so as not to make an error by speaking out of turn

MahayrQuote: Glancing over at Nomee she takes a deeper breath and forces her muscles to let go, sitting back again on her heels and releasing her fragile hold on ranjir. nomeeQuote: Shaking head at the lull in conversation. Muttering, handing empty platter to waiting servant. I am parched. Refill my cup. Add another sprig of mint. My stomach is unsettled. Turning to Mahayr I've lost the trend of our conversation. I would not want to disturb Mittsame with idle conversation. He seems engrossed in his reading MahayrQuote: Taking another breath before speaking, she shifts her weight and leans on one hand, better calmed and more returned to her usual serenity. I have lost track as well, I'm afraid... dreadful interuption, that. Nevermind... forgive me. They will come and go in a rush, won't they... nomeeQuote: Accepting steaming cup of mint tea. Rising, moving closer to settle near Mahayr They do indeed. Perhaps after some time has passed, you'll share with me what that was all about Looking up, trying to remember conversation I remember mentioning wishing you had been at the festival. Oh, I've been invited the house of the Host and Hostess of said festival. I'm looking forward to the visit. I think you would like them. They are descended from the Ancients. MahayrQuote: Listening to Nomee with more attention and seeing her more settled, she smiles at the news, glad for the woman. How lovely... I wish I had been there as well. One day, perhaps. When will the visit be? How far away are they from you? nomeeQuote: Warming to the topic They live on the other side of town. The visit will be next week. I am truly looking forward to it. The female is of the Goddess, her mate a fine match. They opened a business and accepted me as family almost immediately. MahayrQuote: Taking up her re-warmed tea, she smiles over the rim as she listens. Yes, I am sure you are, I would be too of course! I hope it goes well for all of you, they sound very nice indeed. nomeeQuote: Sipping her own tea and munching on a stray bit of mint. Eyes sparkling with humor I would have liked to have seen that display at the Inn. It would have went much quicker. A bit more in depth, I think. Nodding, settling comfortably to wait. Watching servants scuttle about in their duties. Looking into the low fire. Flames reflect in her eyes as she raises an eyebrow. The flames jump and shimmy with renewed fevor. Snapping and popping with vigor. Sparking and crackling, licking heat spikes around freshly laid logs

nomeeQuote: Moving, silently, to a nearby shelf. Eyeing the trinkets scattered there. Picking up a small figurine and gently turning it over This is beautiful work. MahayrQuote: Her eyes mist a moment with old memories and set aside dancers, friends, and family... many left behind for one reason or another. Some moving on, some passed, and some lost. There are the remaining few, though, and for that she is always grateful. Such displays there have been... and perhaps will one day be again. Yes... perhaps so. Watching the fire, she shifts again, breathing in and out as it crackles and pops, its warmth and mesmerizing flicks and colour certainly more than welcome. LeonisQuote: *wanders in with a diamond and attempts to hypnotize nomee and Mahayr* *also performs several card tricks and gets some dice to levitate* *is bored and trying out some cheap tricks* MahayrQuote: Is not so easily fooled, but laughs softly at his attempts. nomeeQuote: Is entertained by the attempts. Smiling at laughable attempt to hypnotise MahayrQuote: Wonders if he got himself by accident... nomeeQuote: nodding giggling at the thought

GlaciaIpsilQuote: *does this Stewie attitude thing with her little arms folded* You little squeaker what makes you bloomin' think I am going to be roped up into some ball of string and --*gassssp!* it's so....round!! *she reachjes out for it balancing herself with one hand* ''pretty ball of goodiness, yarn!!! c'mer so I can embrace you in my feathery embrace!'' LeonisQuote: He smiles and dangles it slowly swinging it back and forth in front of her face. "Pretty isn't it..." he smiles and slowly picke the Biata up and begins to pet it again muttering softly. "Good pet." MahayrQuote: Rising and dressing with some care, she looks out the window as is her custom before turning to make her way downstairs, stopping in the kitchen and seeing to morning business and routine. Leaving things in good order, she enters the common room and settles easily on her furs, cradling her teacup in one hand and waiting quietly for the others. GlaciaIpsilQuote: *smiles contently in the palm of his hand purring all the while before she climbs into his sleeve and bites him spontaniously on the wrist then climbs back out resuming her position of smiling and looking cute and innocent* LeonisQuote: He mutters and takes the Biata with his outside lightly slapping her on the beak. "No!" he sternly commands her. He mutters and stares at Mahayr leaving an etching on the inside of her door. Come meet me on neutral sky.

ShakespearQuote: Soluna comes down the stairs his arm around Nin, his clothes rummpled, and a smile on his face saying that he was happy, and pleased. He looked over at Nin with a smile and lightly placed a kiss on her lips. "You truely are more amazing than words can tell. Hila MeiQuote: Nin just giggled, a soft blush on her cheeks and returned his kiss as she let herself be guided down the stairs again. "I think I'm a little hungry..." she said, a pensive expression on her face as she settled in one of the couches. ShakespearQuote: He smiles and nuzzles a little against her. "Ok love.. What would you like.. I'll see about making it special for you. These people here dun seem to know how to cook properly." Hila MeiQuote: She chuckled lightly. "Yes, I know you don't like the cooking, but it's fine to me. Something sweet. Doesn't really matter." She thought about that and then added:"with chocolate sauce." ShakespearQuote: He nods and mutters making his way into the kitchen muttering dark threats to the kitchen staff as he sooshes them out. Making a large whipped cream dessert with chocolate syrup drizzled over it then a layer of carmalized sugary "web" all topped off by a small image of her with a child in her arms. Hila MeiQuote: Nin was getting comfy by the fireplace in the common room, perfectly relaxed, almost thoughtlessly looking at the white outside. "I don't think you're supposed to be this big already, sweetie," she muttered, her hand on her tummy, soothingly rubbing it. ShakespearQuote: He pushes the cart out muttering a little bit about the ineptitude of the kitchen staff as he places the 6 inch tall whipped confection in front of her. "You do not have to eat it all if you don't wish to" Hila MeiQuote: "Ooooooooh," she merely mumbled in admiration, sitting up again. "I am going to eat it but, but you know, I almost wouldn't because it looks so great. Almost." Nin giggled softly and took the plate from him, together with a spoon. "We will like this, won't we sweetie?" she talked to her tummy again. ShakespearQuote: He smiles and gently rubs her tummy. "Hey now.. I know our little one is important.. but that dun give yah an excuse to ignore me!" He smiles saying it with only a little rebuff. Intended more to gently remind her that he is here than anything else. He smiles and places a gentle kiss on her lips. "Besides... Doesn't your loving husband at least get some sort of taste?" Hila MeiQuote: She smiled and teasingly poked her tongue out at him. "What do you think, shall we give daddy some too? One kick's yes, two means no." Laughing she kissed Soluna's nose and fed him some of the caramel. "I've always been told it's important to talk to them, so they know your voice. You should too."

ShakespearQuote: Soluna chuckled softly. "I have heard that singing is better for them. Come now love.. I know that you have an amazing voice. Sing a duet with me. Please?" Hila MeiQuote: She frowned and groaned almost painfully, giving him one of her you're kidding, right? looks. "I-I wouldn't want to disturb the other guests," she muttered as a vague excuse. the fuzzQuote: -Mittsame finds himself on the couch in the front of the inn, streached out and with drool all over his face- "Hunh...? What happened....? -He sits up and yawns- "Damn... i must have fell asleep again...." -Mittsame stands up and sleeplily walks over to the kitchen- "I need my coffee...." -He shoves the cooks out of the way and grabs a cup of espresso and walks back out to the lounge. He slowly sips the espresso and continues to read his novel- ShakespearQuote: He nuzzles her sighing softly. "I will if you won't. I do not really care if I embaress myself" Hila MeiQuote: She smiled. "Alright, I'll sing with you." She planted a feathery kiss on his lips and smiled. "What do you want to sing?" ShakespearQuote: Soluna chuckles a little. "I do not really know. I am rather doubting that you know any Elvish Opera. So simply perhaps singing of our love for one another?" Hila MeiQuote: "Hm.." Nin just grunted in agreement. "You start, I'll pick up," she then smiled. ShakespearQuote: He shivers and then slowly opens his mouth and begins to sing of how the two fo them met. Leaving out certain parts which would be overly embaressing for both of them. He also sings of how he felt when he first saw her from underneath the willow tree. Hila MeiQuote: Nin just smiled warmly as he went on and completely forgot to join in, engrossed in listening to his singing. She'd heard him sing before, when he was under that willow tree, but never like this. Somehow the soft sounds seemed to go straight to her soul. ShakespearQuote: He smiles and continues his song singing quietly laying his head on her stomach closing his eyes and weaving a private little world, just the three of them. His wife, his child, and himself. Hila MeiQuote: She smiled back and gently stroked his cheek with the back of her hand. "I think he liked that," she said with a smile. "He's gone all quiet." She smiled again, broader now, then added: "Or she." ShakespearQuote: He smiles and nods his head still singing softly. Singing of how he loved her from the moment he saw her. Singing of how he was so happy that they were having a child. And that he only hoped that their child had as much good fortune as he himself had had in finding her. TOP OF PAGE 47. DO NOT POST YET.
