Fortunately for Amapola, her confidence was placed correctly. Criofan was a bit of a weakling physically, only really good at sprinting and finding a quick place to hide himself. Consequently, his struggling wasn't working too well, especially against Texas who refused to move his ground.

What he did have was his seething words. "And you're any better!? It takes two to tango, Amapola!" snapped Criofan, nostrils flaring. He was unwilling to admit this as his fault at all, but he would take any angle to hurt her. "If I'm an absolute child, what does that make you?! You certainly were attracted to me that night!"

Texas yanked Criofan closer to himself and told him, flatly, to, "Stop it," before glancing over to the duo of angels. The poor black and yellow one looked like she was ready to fight. "I'm sorry about him, he needs to calm down. Is there anything I can do?" Despite shifting his attention away from Criofan, the leprechaun was still unable to escape, quickly spent energy-wise.

"You bloody started it!" she exclaims, ready to start swinging herself.

"Um, no," says Elizabeth to Texas. "I think we just need to go home. Right, Amapola?" she asks, taking her by the hand and tugging her toward the door.

"I started it?!" snapped Criofan, not at all ready to drop this argument. "You were the one who even bothered talking to me! If ya hadn't said a thing, I'd've never bothered talking to you! Probably would've just taken your drink and left!" As he became more and more infuriated, more of his stubborn Irish accent began to show itself, and his words seemed to gain a more musical tone despite his growing irritation, with Amapola and with this future kid and the inability to get away from Texas and rum and luaus and...

While Criofan had smoke coming out of his ears, Texas had loosened his grip at this point because he knew the leprechaun wasn't going anywhere. It seemed that they were just going to run away from the situation too, though he couldn't particularly blame them with the way Criofan instantly snapped. He would, however, make an offer. "Don't be afraid to come find me if you do need any help. It's the least I can do." Though it really should have been his leprechaun brother offering the help because it was his fault in the first place...

The leprechaun was mostly in his head listing off all the things he currently hated at that moment, but he did manage to catch Texas remark that he would help. Criofan scoffed. "What, because ya're better than me, Texas?"

Texas just gave an amused grin. "At the moment," replied the demonic, though it was hard to tell if he was being honest or just saying that to outrage his brother yet more...

"You were drunk and tried to steal my halo. I think that counts as starting it!" rages Amapola. She knows she's only making it worse but she's stressed out and he could at least take it like a man and he's being so infuriating!

"Thank you, Texas," says Elizabeth, still trying to drag Amapola toward the door. "That's very kind of you. Amapola! Come on!"

The leprechaun snarled in retort, "Ya' were the one who thought kissing was a good idea! This is ya' fault!" Instead of being willing to accept a minor bit of the blame like he was before, the outrage was beginning to cloud his judgement completely and now he was throwing every bit of the fault onto the poor blood zebra angel.

Texas glanced back and forth between the angel and the faerie. The black and yellow angel seemed more inclined just to leave forever, and he couldn't blame her, but neither Criofan nor this Amapola were willing to drop the situation. So, instead, Texas decided that the situation needed a more direct address. "You're both being immature," he projected, coolly, like a disappointed father, as he gripped onto Criofan's arm again. "No fighting's going to stop what's happened."

Criofan was practically foaming at the mouth with all of his anger, but he did hear what Texas said long enough to pause in all of his rage. "You're right."

Elizabeth pauses, but doesn't relax enough to let Amapola get away. "A wise thought," she says to Texas. "Why don't you try and work it out like adults?" she suggests to Amapola.

Amapola takes several calming breaths before nodding.

It took a few more moments, but when Criofan calmed, Texas finally loosened his grip on the leprechaun's arm and backed up a few steps to watch. He turned to Elizabeth and offered a grateful smile at what he interpretted as a compliment to his intelligence, before he turned his attention back to the pair as they were collecting themselves.

After Amapola nodded to her sister, Criofan took a deep breath of his own before letting it out. He could try and not hide from this whole situation. The leprechaun squared his shoulders confidently before offering, "Let's try this again." He didn't really want to. He wanted to press the rewind button and pretend it never happened.

After a few chomps on his lower lip, though, the leprechaun managed to convince himself to carry on. "You're pregnant, and I'm the father." Admitting that put himself at fault, and making himself responsible for anything but his horde of shiny items hurt a little, but he would suck it up. The last thing he wanted was another scolding from his technically younger brother...

Elizabeth watches them cautiously. She isn't about to let the yellow...person? Person. He'd definitely disproven himself to be a gentleman. She isn't about to let him start attacking her sister again. Even if she maybe deserved it a little.

Amapola nods, also biting her bottom lip. "Right," she says. "I mean...if you don't want to raise it, Elizabeth and I can bring it up on our own. We're raising Kieran now as it is, and he's fine."

Elizabeth conceals a frown. We were raising Kieran. I'm raising Kieran, she thinks. But this wasn't the time to mention that.

Texas kept himself quiet and in the background. While he was ready to jump in again if necessary, this was their situation to work out, not his.

She was willing to raise it herself! That may have been the best thing he had learned in the last half-hour. Criofan didn't particularly like children. They were loud, obnoxious, wanted his stuff and wanted his time and attention. The leprechaun horded everything he had to himself, and found no reason to let anyone else have even a piece of what he declared as his own.

His expression seemed more relieved than anything, and there were hints of a grin forming where a somber expression should've beem. Maybe he could just forget this all happened and let her deal with the child. Still, he didn't want to seem like a total b*****d. The last thing he needed was more enemies, especially when they knew where he lived. Hmm... "I could help out, sometimes. Take it out for outings and such." Yeah, that sounded good. Take the child out for a few hours and give it back to the blood zebra just before it got whiny.

...At least it was a start.

"Right. Good. I like that idea." She doesn't like the idea of him having the kid for more than a day or so. He doesn't seem like the responsible paternal type...no.

As soon as she said she liked that idea, Criofan didn't hold back his grin anymore. He made it obvious that he didn't want a thing to do with this kid from here on out, except for the few hours he had half-heartedly suggested. With a jaunty skip to his step, he reached forward and took Amapola's hand whether she offered it or not to shake it enthusiastically before bowing and gesturing towards the door.

"Well, now that that's settled, I hope you have a good lif--day. I'll visit the kid at some point, I'm sure." There was no doubt morbid curiosity would get to him eventually, but for now, he wanted this situation out of sight and out of mind. Still, perhaps his luck hadn't run out yet after all. The mother was willing to take full care of the kid!

The demonic only sighed and shook his head. That wasn't the interaction he was hoping for, but still, this was his brother's problem, not his. If Amapola wanted to raise the child and Criofan wanted to be all too happy to wash his hands of all responsibility, that was their choice.

Once they're outside Elizabeth shakes her head and rolls her eyes. "Quite the charmer," she says dryly. "You really do know how to pick 'em, don't you?"

"Oh shut up!" exclaims Amapola. "Let's go home. Ye gods, that went absolutely awfully."
