She did have to hand it to him he was fast, already she was starting to tire some and may have given up however he seemed to show no signs to quit. This meal was proving to maybe be to hard to handle already she was having doubts if they would infact even catch the animal.
Tho he seemed to be having alot of fun even if it seemed he wasnt going to all the deer had to do was run into some space the large rex was unsuited for to lose him. But in its mad dash it wasnt fully thinkin.
Cutting at an angle she caught up a bit more.

Natsu roared again, glee apparent on his face as the buck seemed distracted from something off and away, something it seemed to notice coming up on its other side that natsu had yet to pay attention too. Snapping out at the buck and watching it stumble again, lean leggs and bounding hooves snagging on the roots of the very trees that had kept it safe for such a short time.
Natsu saw his chance and lunged out at the thing over stepping the buck by inches his snapping jaws came down on air instead of meat. Confusedly stumbling in his own attempt to stop as he looked back at the dazed deer sprawled out on the forest floor, the thing looking confused and injured as it tried to find its legs again. "Silly deer.." natsu huffed a bit miffed at himself as he turned to go back and finish the meal off.

(suddenly i envisioned him trampling it)
Fae was rather surprised by the stop and didn't come to a full stop till a good ways off from him. Her mind swelled to tenderized meat as she trotted back his direction.
"better be fast before it gets up and runs off again." Her breath was hard but she was smiling all the time it was a good chase, one she hadn't had for some time.
He looked like he had just as much fun as she did and she picked up her pase to catch up.

-snickered, I almost let him too! But then was like...eech..feet meat...-
"Uhn...haha! Of course, a quick kill for my lady" nataku panted heavily, running his long tongue over his scaly lips as he crept closer to the creature, a bit more catious now that the chase had ended, though his adrenalin was still running high. Pulsing in time with the quick blood running through his veins..
Natsu reached down taking the squealing thing up in his giant maw and with a simple bite crunching down on its neck and its skull, shaking his head about a bit as he dangled the thing in his mouth, making quite sure it was dead. "Thadha...meat for you!" though the words were horribly muffled, speaking without having thought to drop the deer carcass back to the ground.

She smiled a sly look now that she was next to him, "you know your not suppose to talk with your mouth full?" yet before he could drop it she grabbed half and yanked causing it to tear in half the other end hanging from her mouth.
With a smile she threw it up better catching the chunk in her mouth. "better eat it while its still warm. Blood rolling from her lips she blushed at having also talked with her mouth full.

"Mmmph.." natsu tried to grin but realized he shouldn't, looking on surprised, but also glad that she'd torn her own half away. Lowering his head and chomping the buck up, using the blood spattered ground like his own personal plate as he tore and ripped away at it until there was nothing left.
A smug grin on natsus face while fae spoke, hah showed her. "Someone's forgetting her own rules!" he giggled but followed her advice, trying even to lick away as much of the still warm slick blood from his muzzle as he could, the deer had tasted delicious. "See, told you I was your hunter! Hah i did pretty well didnt I? Mmnhmm.." nataku laughed smugly.

"you did wonderful." she smiled now done with her own deer. "and it was a fun hunt to." snorting she licked her chops, "and I doubt any would have chased as long, you have spirit that's for sure." She gave that sly look again, "you have done your huntress well."
Walking over to him she nuzzled him of course this left a large blood stain, that wasn't her plot but of course that seemed to have came with it. Holding back a laugh she stretched a few joints then looked around. "well it seems its bath time again, then I would assume nap time." She stared at the dieing sun then back at him. "What do you say?"

"Wonderfully! Heh told you I was a good hunter" he laughed pridefully, bringing his tiny hands to his mouth to lick and scrape away a few more tasty bits of blood and meat, eagerly slurping them up. "Mnnhmm, you should see what else this spirit of mine can do" he wagged his tail a bit eagerly, giving the girl a smirk. He truly was proud, glad to have impressed fae, it had been really fun too! Normally women werent so fun..brooding mean things....
"My huntress are you? Well then, I'm quite glad to have made you happy.." natsu purred a bit as he was nuzzled, his smile uncontrollable at this point, he was ecstatic. He hardly noticed the smear she'd left, though now he did feel quite sticky and wet all over..blood dried far to fast..."Bath time, nap time...You know what, that sounds perfect to me! Haha and the suns setting...chances are I wont get burnt this time." nataku smiled, glancing around a bit before heading back in what he thought might be the direction of their little pond..he was always bad at directions though.

Fae gave him a quirky look, "I doubt even if you were to get burnt many would notice. Or at least anyone that mattered." She headed forward sure there was some water in that direction also tho she wasn't quiet sure either, it wasn't that dull just to walk having him around. She whipped her tail knowing all to well it ended up near to his nose but acting like she failed to notice.
She wanted to torture him more however this drying blood was starting to itch already it was attracting bugs that made her skin crawl. She glanced at him tho he was covered more then she was not to mention the mark she had caused. Suddenly she gave out a rumble almost a purr the noise shocked her she didn't mean to make it but looking at the male was a funny feeling.

If he'd had eyebrows they would have lifted, giving her a curious look, frowning slightly for a moment before it all faded back into a grin. "Well You would notice wouldnt you! Heh, I mean..I consider that you matter.." nataku said with a teasing voice, having to stumble back a pace as she nearly smacked I'm in the face with her tail. The thing was right in his face! yet somehow, he didnt much mind..she really did have a cute tail..
Natsu growled softly moving to n** at her tail, tugging lightly on the whispy flicky thing, the tip caught gently between his teeth as his head shot up, realizing she'd made a noise.."Mnnn...S'houd go get water...bloods icty" he murmured muffledly, refusing to let go of her tail for the moment. It was far to fun.

When her tail gave a tug she almost whipped around, but she tried to ignore it, "didn't I say no talking with your mouth full?" she smiled looking back at him. And evil grin on her face, doing a u turn she tried to snap at his tail but failed having him holding hers. Laughing she turned forward and instead picked up the pace. As the water came into view she cocked a eye back towards him yet in no way slowed down. Rushing head first into the water.

"Mmnnph!" yes yes she had told him, he found this far to funny though. Grinning as he followed her, eyes going wide when she lunged straight into the water, not slowing down a bit. Nataku gaped as he was suddenly drenched, splashed with the small wave she created. Spluttering yet smiling as he swiftly followed after her.
Such a minxy little female! Yet so damn fun, nataku cheered as he jumped into the water after her, surfacing rather quickly and gasping for air between laughing.

Fae stayed under a bit longer the water a coolant to the bug bites that had started to form in some areas it was just to warm for the blood to be there. However Natsu was already to the surface and she quickly joined him shooting water up as she came up a bit to quickly.
"aren't we dashing now." she smiled the blood on him was mostly gone, "oh," she pointed at no spot in particular, "you may have got a sunburn." There was nothing there but he had talked so much of them she wanted to torture him. Moving around slowed from the water she circled him smiling.
"I like your colors they are bold, would be a shame to ruin them."

"Wha?" shaking water out of his eyes natsu tried to see what she was seeing, was the blood still clinging to him? He always felt better in the water somehow, though he was no swimmer, the water was fun.."Sun burn, where! Tsk, evil sun...I knew it'd gotten me somewhere" he huffed, he couldnt feel it, but he couldnt possibly tell with the water and everything else.
"My colors are alright, I do rather like them..red doesnt mix well..Where exactly is the sunburn?" it wasnt as if he could wash it off, he just wished he could spot the darn thing! "You know, your colors arent so bad either, very earth..ah..no very watery" momentarily forgetting the sunburn in his frantic search to spot it..maybe it was on his face?!

Fae snickered as he fretted over him self. "even if you did have one you would be great even with it." She smiled and nosed him this time not leaving a blood stain and waded to the edge of the water shaking off as she exited to get her hide dry.
Then looked at her coloring. "some times I feel a bit dull looking." She had for sure seen better looking rex's, of course looks were not all.
Looking back at the male she gave a rumble, "so where shall we go now?"
