He wriggled back a bit to help her get situated comfortably, settling himself in quite comfortably as well. His tail uncurled itself from around him and flipped around to the other side to curl around her as best it could. This was comfortable, this was nice. Very nice. He didn't need to go do anything else today.
"No, no plans," he agreed, "Why don't we just hang out here today?"

She happily wiggled in return, getting herself comfy on his oh-so-comfy self. That was another plus to being "stuck" with him: at least he made himself useful, especially at night when she was trying to go to sleep. Nothing in the world was like having your own personal furry heater right beside you.
"That sounds like a plan to me," she grinned, looking up and licking his neck.
