"I will," she agreed and then Kafiri said nothing else, only nodding at what he said and smiling sheepishly. She waited for him to go off rather than stalking away herself, feeling it the more respectful option. None of this was quite how she had expected her walk to turn out and he was right, there was plenty to think about. She considered continuing on her walk but she was starting to feel that that had, perhaps, been enough conversation for that evening. So she turned about and headed back the way she had come, heading for the dens.
