Ara thought for a few moments. "I would think that he had a lot of love and respect for those who died. And more people should feel that way about the dead. A lot of dead foxes are just forgotten and no longer cared about. I find that incredibly sad. Both parts of my family are alive so I haven't experienced what you have, but I try to understand."

Roku nodded. "Alright...if you say so, but I'm going for a swim to relax my thoughts." He then headed towards the creek. He normally liked to clear his thoughts whenever he didn't know quite what to do. The light purple fox wasn't sad, but he was a bit shocked that this fox would be making such a big deal out of what he was doing. It didn't bug him, in fact he sort of admired it, but yet he didn't want to tell her everything of his past.

Ara wasn't sure if he wanted to be left alone or not so just stayed put while she watched him head towards the creek. If he wanted her company, he would ask. If not, she would leave soon and leave him to his thoughts. She didn't want to be an intruder or a pest. She knew that would make him mad and dislike her, and she kind of wanted to get to know the curious fox.

Roku tilted his head to her as he floated on his back. "You can come and swim if you want." He paused. "Or is it something you don't like? You just look so awkward just sitting there."

Ara smiled and went to join him. "Sorry, didn't know if you wanted company or not and didn't want to intrude on you. That is why I did not join right away." She jumped in and splashed him. "Opps, sorry." she mumbled and swam around. It was obvious that she was an excellent swimmer and had a lot of practice.

Roku shook his head. "It's alright. I love company since I don't get it that much." He sighed. "I just wish others could accept me sometimes." He then looked at her. "Just wondering, but does it feel awkward being around me now that I told you of my past?"

Ara looked at him weirdly. "Why would I feel awkward around you? Just because you had some awful things happen in your life doesn't mean your bad or weird or anything like that. Just means that you have suffered and people or foxes should be a little more understanding. And I think given the chance to know you, lots of foxes would accept you. I know plenty who would. And if you want, I can keep you company more often."

Roku nodded his head cheerfully. "That sounds good to me. Besides...I could use some friends right now." He tried to make it sound nice for her since he knew that she was still a bit younger then him and he wanted to just be her friend for starters, maybe down the line best friends that could keep no secrets.

Ara nodded, "I would like that a lot." She wondered why he was insistent on friends then realized he wasn't ready to get back into a relationship yet. But then again, was it a relationship that she wanted or just friendship. She had never been so interested in a guy before this but had also never known love as more than familial. Oh, well, she thought and left her thoughts there, not wanting to delve to much deeper.

Roku smiled. "Ok...that's good." He looked down at the ground. "I just don't want to make you feel awkward being with a fox who had kids." He paused. "Although there is a female that Celt owns called Lulu who gave birth to kids and she ended up with another mate. Perhaps I could end up like that." He chuckled a bit. "I just don't want to make anyone else feel awkward with me around. That's normally what I cause others to feel."

Ara smiled. "Yeah, I know Lulu's daughter Rachel. She is a good friend of mine and a very sweet girl. She grew up with Minuit's family, who just had a litter of 6 kits, so they now have 10 kits if you count Rachel. And who knows, I think anyone can find another mate, or love, if they open up their heart to it. And I think your heart will be big enough to handle it all when you come to that stage in your life."

Roku looked wide eyed. "That's a lot of kits. Rachel sure has a handful of adopted family members. Does she have a mate?" He chuckled a bit. "I probably will...it has been quite a while anyways. At least I don't get all weepy eyed when I look at graves anymore." He lowered his eyes. "It used to be I would sit there day and night not leaving, eating, or sleeping." He chuckled. "However, I'm pretty sure Lisa would of wanted me to live my life instead of worrying over the dead. She always told me that."

Ara smiled at him. "I believe you are right there. I am sure she would wish your happiness. And mourning is fine, you never have to stop mourning. Though progression is good, and it seems that you have already progressed well. So I think you will be alright. I have faith in you." Ara said, and wondered why she was so sure of that fact.

Ara gave him a big smile. "Sure, I would love to hang out some. I like making friends and its nice to hang out with others, outside of the mansion you know? So what would you like to do?" she asked wanting him to be happy and have a good time with her. For some reason it was important to her that he be pleased.
