Anima did NOT want to get paralyzed again. She dodged to one side and skidded to a halt. Her body was so close to the ground that her belly was almost scraping the floor.
"Let's change things up!" Renekai called. "Rollout!"
Anima really didn't want to get too close to Branimir, but on the other hand, he sort of did deserve some physical damage. Anima curled up into a ball and began rolling at high speed towards Branimir. Chunks of rock flew up as she passed, leaving a trench in her wake.

Branimir leapt to the side as the furret came towards him, though his long tail did get squashed and he let out a startled yelp because of that. Turning on his opponent he lunged at her again, his fangs crackling with electricity, trying to paralyze her knowing that this battle was over if he couldn't get a good grip on the little furret.
Raina watched as Branimir retaliated, she didn't even have to say anything, he knew that making the opponent immobile was their only chance. Now if only the pokegods would be on their side and let them get a chance to make a comeback.

Anima froze. This time, she couldn't move at all; not even her eyes obeyed her commands! Something bad was definitely coming up.
Renekai's brow furrowed. They had been so close! If Anima could pull through, though, the battle would be in the bag.

Raina smiled as the hit connected and made a lasting effect. She knew she only had a short window of opportunity though and she made the most of it. "Branimir use Rock Smash!" she called.
Upon hearing the command Branimir focused his energy and raised another boulder from the ground, smashing it with his paw he sent large splinters flying towards the now paralyzed furret. This could be his only chance to pull out of a sure loss.

Anima tried to wince, but she couldn't. She was hit by the rocks, but they were luckily not aimed as well as they could have been.
"Hang in there, girl!" Renekai encouraged.

Raina was becoming anxious, she knew that this was their last shot to win and she had to make the most of it. With that in mind she called out to Branimir. "Keep it up boy!"
Branimir was more than happy to oblige and upon raising another boulder sent more shards flying towards the helpless furret.

Raina didn't need to say anything for Branimir to know he was supposed to keep up the rock smash attacks. They were the only choice he had if he wanted to stand a chance of winning and she knew that the paralysis was about to wear off. Now if he could just get in a few critical hits before then they would be doing great.
Branimir kept up his onslaught of rocks but this time he aimed more carefully, hoping he could do a good amount of damage before his advantage was over.

Renekai winced as she saw Anima get hit very hard. Things weren't looking so good after all.
Anima forced the upper half of her body into an upright position, but her lower half refused to move. It would have been amusing to watch if the battle hadn't been so serious. Anima fell back on her side and tried to blink away the black spots that meant that she would soon faint.

Branimir knew that his opponent was almost out as she collapsed to her side once again. He wasn't a heartless beast and so he intended to end it rather quickly. With a deep breath he rushed forward, so quickly he was only a blur, to finish up the battle with his extremespeed attack.
Raina knew that she and Branimir could win if he could just land this last attack and she crossed her fingers and prayed as she watched Branimir collide with his opponent.

Anima quietly passed out, and was almost glad to do it. She was very tired.
Renekai held up Anima's pokeball and watched as the red light sucked up her hard working furret. "It was a close one," she whispered to the pokeball. She raised her voice and called to Raina, "Good battle! Let's do it again some time!"

Raina watched as the furret was returned to it's pokeball before whistling which had Branimir turning and running back to her side. "Good boy, here ya go." she said as she pulled out one of his favorite treats, steak bits, and after he had licked them off her hand she returned him to his great ball for a well deserved rest.
Upon hearing the other trainer she looked over and nodded. "Definately." she smiled and waved goodbye before heading out of the stadium and towards the pokecenter.
