As Joey was trying to lift Duane up, he would go for a few punches to Joey's gut trying to get him to release him.

Joey gets hit in the gut by Duane and gets knocked back and therefor, releasing Duane from his grasp. Joey holds his gut and looks at his opponent waiting for his next move.

Joey's jaw gets rattled by the European uppercut and he staggers back. Joey holding his jaw, looks over to Duane and runs over for an elbow strike attempt.

While Joey ran at him Duane would try for a drop toe hold to keep his opponent grounded.

Joey takes the punches and gets dazed from the shots. As a desperation move, Joey attempts a headbutt to Duane's face.

Duane was headbutted and began to hold to the side of his head.
