When the older man began to explain himself, and she found his voice to be rather nice compared to the raspy, creepy voice she imagined him having. "O-oh..." she looked back at the little cat Eryn and gave a weak smile. "Well, I guess he doesn't have to go." She turned to Demi who came wandering up beside her, taking control of the conversation for her. The Ragamuffin only nodded and agreed. Well, that was until Demi had to go and explain that she was in fact a house cat. The fluffy little princess curled up into a little shy ball, drooping her tail and pulling her ears back, "Demiiii..." she hissed at the younger girl and nudged her. She didn't want these cats to know she was a house hold pet. It was embarrassing to look back and see how shielded from the world she was.

Demi giggled again in response to Belle's embarrassment and turned her palms toward the sky in a shrug. The tip of her tongue poked out of her mouth in a playful fashion. "Hey, don't let it get to you," The dusty brown cat gestured to the scar on her neck and tipped her head to the side, "I'm sure we were all house-cats at one point. The only difference with you is that you had a home with humans who wanted you. You had it good, Princess. Ah, but being a street cat beats being a human's pampered pet any day, right?!" Another laugh rolled from her throat and she placed both hands on her hips in an unnecessarily victorious pose.

Theissen smiled easily when the girls said he could stay; glad he didn’t have to leave Eryn. He knew the smaller would relax more if he stayed close, which was what he liked to see. Seeing the smaller beam brightly when everything seemed to have smoothed over between everyone. Chuckling quietly at the little cat named Belle, he gave her a little smile then looked to Demi.

“Its been a long time since I was a house cat… little Eryn here was left behind when his owners couldn’t take him to their new house” He explained softly, seeing the little one whine a little at the memory.

”I was lucky Theissen found me!” Eryn chirped cutely, looking up at the older male happily. “They left me stuck in the house… he got me out and has taken care of me since!”

Little Belle only looked at the ground, embarrassment washing over her even though the other cats did admit that they had all been house pets at one time or another. The little male kitten seemed to make a good switch of topic and that was sure to make Belle feel a whole lot better. "Well, that's very nice of... um... Theissen." She tilted her head as she pronounced his name a bit unsure. "What an interesting name you have there." She offered up a smile at the man with rave like netting. "Well, if I may say so..." she really didn't want to offend the cat at all so she was sure to stay close to Demi, just in case such a thing actually happened.

As Demi thought about it, she was glad she hadn't been taken in by the humans. Being left inside of a house sounded a little frightening. "I guess to be honest, I never really achieved house-cat status... I lived with my mom's human for a while, but the man who came to take me away ended up leaving me in a park." Demi mewed with a shrug, "His kit didn't like me cause I don't have a long tail." Realizing that Belle was still sticking close to her, the bobtail grinned back up at the soft-spoken tom and tipped her head to the side. "It is an interesting name, but so are your clothes!" her ears perked forward with interest, "They seem to disagree with your voice. Do you have a secret hobby or something...?" Unlike Belle, Demi didn't consider whether she was coming off as rude or too forward, but she was very interested in learning about this Theissen.

Theissen was a little surprised on the topic shift since it had shifted into talking about him; which was fine he supposed, he had nothing to hide. When Belle seemed to tip toe around him still, he gave her a little smile. “Miss it takes a lot to offend me, so please don’t worry” he smiled a little at her then looked to Demi.
“Ah that’s unfortunate, being left behind is never a pleasant feeling” He murmured softly. At the statement about his clothes and personality, he laughed and gave Demi a little grin. “The human who took care of me lived on the streets, I had been a part of a litter which had been left in a box in the alley so he just took me…” He started explaining, “ As for the clothes…the human went to huge night time parties called Raves and I would follow and wait for him to be finish… I loved the music and the bright colors… how the humans danced…the movements with the color was memorizing” he shrugged a little. “I just adopted the style after a while…”

Eryn just listened; amazed on the amount Theissen was speaking. He couldn’t remember a time he’d heard the older feline talk so much! “He even has these pretty glowing sticks! But they only work at nighttime or when it’s dark! They’re really pretty!” Eryn chirped softly.

Hearing all this further piqued the young Bobtail's interest, and her eyes lit up at the mention of music and dancing. "Being left was confusing at first, but I got over it. There's a lot to see out here! I guess you weren't really a house-cat then either, eh?" She grinned and flicked an ear at the additional statement Eryn made about the older tom's life style and nodded, "That really sounds cool though! And fun! I'd like to see it sometime!" Nudging the fluffy cat beside her, Demi prodded the other for her input; did Belle even dance? "Nya, what do you think, Princess? Sounds like a pretty awesome party, right?"

Belle was quietly watching from the safety of Demi. It seemed like she spoke up a lot more when she didn't have friends around to hide behind. With the bobtail here, she felt like they could just look over her and continue with their conversation, and that seemed to be working well, up until Demi asked for her input. "Oh, uh... well- um..." she started to search for the words to say but it was hard to speak and think about a topic with this man standing here. Even with his kindness, Belle still was a bit iffy around him.

She finally took a brave step out from behind Demi and stood a bit awkwardly while thinking, "party? I um... I've never been to or seen a party, so... I don't really know what to think. I know what music is... and I've seen dancing. I guess it sounds pretty spectacular." In the Ragamuffin's mind she only knew of classical music and the dancing that her humans did at their kind of parties. The only parties they threw were elegant ones so elegant waltz and such were all she knew. "That's strange... I wouldn't picture you liking music and dancing." She stared at Theissen with interest. In Belle's head there was only really one type of everything, and that's what she grew up with in that big house of hers, all alone.

Theissen blinked softly when Demi seemed eager about the idea of attending a rave with him. Perhaps it wouldn’t hurt to bring the bobtail and not having to worry about watching her. She seemed tough enough to take care of herself if the rave got a little out of hand. Little Belle on the other hand…

”I doubt that it’s the kind of party you’re used too Miss Belle...” He murmured gently to the younger feline. Though he chuckled a little when the younger feline didn’t take him as a music lover. “Well I suppose… I’m full of surprises?” he chuckled again and looked to Eryn, who had stretched out a little.

“I saw his parties once! There’s lots of really really loud pulsing music!” Eryn said softly, resting his head in his paws as he relaxed. “I like quieter music….”

Belle frowned when he told her that it probably wasn't the sort of music she would find tasteful. She could learn to love it, though, right? After all, she was learning to love this. This whole madness of being out on the streets and having to sleep up on a porch at night, sometimes all by herself in the cold. If she could learn to love this she could learn to love anything. "Well, Theissen, the next time you go to one of these parties of yours maybe I could tag along, too. I could stick with Demi." She looked to her friend with a large grin on her face before turning back to Eryn and softening her smile to a more gentler expression.

"I enjoy quiet music as well, Eryn. Something that tickles the senses." She gave a sort of dreamy sway and missed how the children of her house would practice their classical music on the piano every afternoon. She was actually starting to feel a tad bit homesick and wanted to go lay on her porch. Looking to each individual she slowly started speaking, making sure she wouldn't be interrupting anybody. "Well, I think I'm getting a bit... sleepy. I'm going to take a nap or something." She bumped up against Demi playfully and told the bobtail, "I'll be seeing you around, Spunky." She then looked to the older cat with more respect and bowed her head, "Farewell, Theissen." She turned to Eryn at last and gave him a large friendly grin, "Hope to see you and your friend again. It was a pleasure meeting you." She then turned quickly and began leaving the area, tail swaying naturally as she left.

(( Exited Belle. ))

A little surprised, but pleased at the ragamuffin's interest in the rave. "I'd keep you company, Princess." She mewed, excitedly, then glanced to the young Eryn, nodding in agreement with the fluffy girl beside her. "I pretty much like any music I can sing and dance to." All of a sudden, Belle jolted her gently and began saying goodbye to everyone. Perking her ears up, Demi watched her go with a slightly confused bronze gaze. Although she said she was tired, the dusty bobtail wondered if that really was it. "Yea, see ya, Princess." She mewed absently, then tipped her head to the side and took a step or to after her, "Do you need me to walk you home?"

Even though she was interested in learning more about Thiessen and Eryn, Demi still wasn't used to the idea of the Ragamuffin wandering around on her own. Still, her question went unanswered as the fluffy girl clopped down the alley and turned the corner. Maybe her question was answered after all though? Turning to look back at the two males she found herself alone with now, Demi blinked a few times. "That was slightly unexpected..." She mewed slowly, tugging at the rag of a skirt that still clung to her frame absently. The action seemed to bring something to mind for the bobtail though, and she looked between the two toms for a moment. "Ahm... Where exactly did you guys go for clothes?" She asked with a silly grin; it wasn't much of a topic, but she really didn't know what to do about her attire. It simply wasn't suiting her any longer.
