Suddenly the glowing man doesn't seem so...glowing. It's either her headache or he'd paled visibly. "You don't look so good," says Amapola, naturally concerned. "D'you want to sit down a bit before you try going home?" She follows him down the hallway that led to the back door. Who knows why he was planning on going out via the patio, but men are funny creatures.

Ah, the back door! The light was so much brighter here and the world seemed to be turning into a glowing bright light, but if he could get out of the house without anyone else noticing, he would be in the best possible situation. Stumbling over himself, Criofan reached out towards the door only to hear Amapola's voice. Wasn't she the one who said she had siblings? Wouldn't she want him to go then? This woman made no sense.
Criofan suddenly turned around, pressing his back to the door behind him so he didn't fall over in the process. For a few moments, he was able to relax his light-blinded squinting eyes. "Erm, no, I'll be okay," excused the leprechaun, as he turned back towards the door so he could leave. His eyes were shut tightly as he reached for the doorknob so he could turn it, foolishly feeling around the door so he could locate the knob without actually opening his eyes.
When he did locate the doorknob, he turned it and promptly fell on his face because he was leaning too strongly on the door. At least he was outside now. Not giving a second for her to start fussing again, Criofan grabbed onto the swinging door and used it to prop himself back up on his feet clumsily. Now he could run away and pretend it never happened...

Amapola watches him go from the kitchen window. "Ye gods, what've I gotten myself into?" she murmurs, before raiding the kitchen for any and all available munchies. Her headache still thrums in her temples, but her stomach is a more pressing need just now.
