He smiled at her as she shouldered aside some of the branches, once again having only thoughts of how kind she was before he ducked under and bit back his whine, though the tenseness of his muscles was clue enough to show how much pain he was in. When he was finally under the space he eased himself to the floor, eyes shut tight as he did so and a light whine finally escaped his maw.
"Please... don't go through the trouble of trying to find something specific.." He asked after a moment, glancing to her. "I'm not a picky eater." He added, hoping that would make it easier for her. After another long moment he jut nodded, smiling when she stated that she'd let him hunt for her. "I appreciate you letting me repay you... and... thank you again." He felt relief flood his being, he felt a whole lot better now that he would be able to do something for her after all of the trouble he was putting her through, even if she didn't really view it as trouble herself.

Chantily watched as he crept inside their new temporary shelter, the tense muscles a good clue as to how much it hurt him, she was sympathetic but made no comment - she doubted he would want one, no one after all likes to be reminded of their weakness when wounded. In any case she was sure he would soon feel better now that he could remain stationary for a time.
"I'll be back shortly...just stay put." She told him with a final nod of her head before pulling back and letting the branches snap back into place. After a few moments she choose a direction and headed off to find them a meal - she could only hope he would indeed stay put, though even if he didn't she doubted he would get to far.
