Chepi listened with a smile on her maw. "At least I won't be the only one anymore!" She chuckled a little and flicked her tail. She watched him scratch his ear, her eyes full of amusement. She wasn't sure why she found him scratching amusing but she did all the same.
"If said beautiful young girl was beautiful maybe. Though at least you are willing." She chuckled, happy that she had a friend who could tease her and she could tease back.
"Well I believe they are my plans and you will have to wait to find them out." She stuck her tongue out at him as she finished talking and laughed a little more. She did have a few ideas of what to do with him, but he was her first friend that she had laughed this much around and so plans could wait.
"Do you want to come see Earth Clan?" She asked hoping that he would want to see it. She knew it wasn't anything amazing and probably looked much like the other clans but she wanted to spend more time with him and he did say he was new. A tour seemed like a good idea, to keep him by her side and keep a conversation going.

Arun grinned, a broad smile that genuinely expressed how pleased he was. This encounter had been better than he had ever imagined -- after just this short time, he felt lighter than air and slightly warm and fuzzy under his fur. It was a weird feeling, one he had never really experienced before... perhaps it was because he had never had a girl really... well... react in a positive manner towards his goofiness. Usually it was more of a cold glare or a growl or a 'Get lost, jerk!' And he had gotten use to that. If that's how females of his species generally reacted, well, that's how all of them must be, and he came to accept it. It didn't even bother him, he had almost began to think it was a positive reaction! But this... had just been so much different.
Giving her what he hoped was his most debonair smile, Arun gave a low albeit somewhat goofy bow.
"I would love to," He replied, "As long as you would be my guide -- no other will do, sadly."

She laughed.
"You think I would let anyone else show you around? Your my stalker... mine." She had a rather cheeky grin on her face as she spoke and then stretched a little.
"You coming then? Though like keep away from my sister..." She eyed him slightly suspiciously as she spoke though she wondered if a male would ever deal with her sister. Who wanted a girl who played with her food and refused to eat it? Chepi was more then happy to keep her stalker to herself.
"Or... I could show you another day and we just do something else...." Though she wasn't sure what. She had a new friend and it was exciting. She wanted to go and do something fun but then she wouldn't mind laying here talking or she could show him her sister and they could catch that rabbit of hers. Oh there was endless options.

"Miss Chepi, I would be honored to have you show me around your home," he replied, amused by that cheeky grin of hers. It was so cute, and her eyes seemed to glisten mischievously, a look he was quite familiar with in himself. He was pretty damn lucky, if he did say so himself. He would have to remember to find out who the main god or goddess was of this Pride, so that he could pay them tribute, both for helping him to find this place and helping him to find Chepi.
Climbing to his feet, the striped lion flicked his tail eagerly, red eyes glistening a little in excitement.
"So now that today's all booked up, how about tomorrow? Wanna go spider or snake hunting?"
Arun left the words hanging mid-air, the implications of that question spreading far. She had already mentioned that there was a particular lion she wanted to prank, although he was sure, with her devious mind, she could think of quite a few who would react hilariously to finding a creepy crawly on them while they slept. Besides, even if they didn't use the snake or spiders, it would still be fun to try to catch them.

Chepi smiled, eager to show him about. Obviously she wouldn't show him around some the clan areas because she hadn't been there but Earth and Bird clan she knew pretty well. After all her father had strong connections with those in Bird clan so she often wandered over there.
"Tomorrow?" She smiled widely. He wanted to spend tomorrow with her too?
"Sounds good to me!" She was so excited about this it was stupid. This male was awesome. What was the odds that someone as cheeky as her would appear in the pride and like her? Oh this was good! She then remembered something and the smile faded from her face.
"Oh I can't tomorrow... mother said I have to start taking some responsibilities. They want me to lead the clan." She let out a soft sigh. She wasn't much of a leader and she hadn't a clue how she was suppose to lead a clan!
"We will soon though, if you still want to! Maybe the day after if I can get away..." She would get away if it meant she got to see him, she would drop anything and everything to spend time with him because he was interesting, charming, good looking and he was like her. He was the only lion in this pride and thought the same way she did!

Chepi's wide grin only fueled the warm fluffy feeling in the striped lions chest, his own crooked grin matching hers in delight. Even if her father hated him and beat him up a thousand times, that smile was worth it. He had never seen such a radiant smile (although it probably had something to do with the butterflies fluttering around in his head) and all he wanted was for her to keep smiling like that.
As that smile faded, however, Arun's grin turned to a bewildered, curious look, the fur between his eyes furrowing a bit as he slowly began to process what she had said. "Responsibilities..." he echoed quietly, thinking. Lead a clan? Immediately he felt the fuzzy feeling start to disipate, replaced by a small, crushed feeling. She was the Earth Clan's heir... that made her an important figure. An important figure he could never try to woo. She probably had tons of suitors, if not a pre-arranged marriage. No way in hell would they let a rogue anywhere near her.
Still, Arun kept smiling, keeping his slightly crushed heart to himself. After all, they could still have fun while it lasted, right? ...right?
"That's alright, I don't plan on going anywhere anytime soon. If you manage to sneak away, you know where to find me," He teased, winking at her and extending a paw, "So, you gonna show me around, Princess?"
