and don't worry Phantoms Angel, they're all just mad at her cause she helped Cloud beat up Sepiroth... that's right, i went there, HE PWNED HIM!...

in my opinion cloud onyl loved aries because he felt a connection. but if you think about it Cloud only ponder about her because of the fact that he really didnt know who he was. he felt he was Zack. But in reality he loves tifa. it just takes some time to see around all of it and really find out

Aerith loved Cloud. She admits to herself in her novella ("Maiden of the Planet" or somesuch) that she loved Cloud more than Zack. Although she was first interested in Cloud because of his strong resemblance to Zack (maybe not lookwise but surely personality wise since Cloud believed himself to be Zack), she truly did yearn to know the real him when she was still alive. It's in death, I think, that she was finally able to.
A bit OT, but I also think that initially Cloud felt "something" (whatever that something turned into will evidently forever be up for debate) for Aerith because he was carrying Zack's memories. IIRC, Zack talked about Aerith to Cloud while he was still under the Mako spell so maybe something stuck.

phantoms angel CherryBlossomPrincess Cloud should notice Tifa, cos they deserve each other. Aeris needs some glasses. ZACK AND CLOUD LOOK NOTHING ALIKE!!!! Poor Zack... trapped forever with Aeris. At least Aeris is popping off to annoy people. I hate Aeris. evil hm...thats sad. Aeris is my favorite charictor.why do you people hate her so much? i dont get it... but i guess you have a bit of a point although you dont realy seem to care if there IS an Aerith fan that just so happens to read your post. stare Aerith liked Cloud because he reminded her of her X. so Zack and Aerith all the way. But cloud and Tifa...? well... mabie, but i dont realy see that happening, for a few reasons. compair the time were Tifa was cut by sephiroth in the nebelhelm reactor, and Aeriths death. Cloud said, "i thaught you were a goner. i was realy sad." he just said he was sad because he thaught she was dead. well....then you have to compaire his reaction to that, to his reaction to Aeriths death. he seems to mourn Aerith more than Tifa. If Tifa and cloud were suposed to be together, then why arent they together in Advent Children? i mean there living together and all. why arent they together? because Cloud still had feelings for Aerith. why would he blame himself so much if he didnt care about her? and you also have to think of the fact that originaly the 3 main charictors were Aerith cloud and barret. Tifa didnt even exist in the original script. the reason they killed Aerith is because they had to sacrifice 1 main charictor, they couldnt pick Barret cuz it was too obvious, and well cloud...hes the main charictor so they chose Aerith. by time Tifa was added, it was to late to change that. idk... i personaly think, yes cloud needs to move on, and get over Aerith, cuz they obviously cant be together. i like Tifa, but i honetsly dont think cloud liked her that way. ((thank you Fiannas_Desendant, you made alot of good points.)) as for you Aerith haters. i honestly dont get you guys.... stare did you even pay attention to her actual charictor? or did you just look at the fact that she wears pink and decide, omg! shes a prep i hate her. you have no idea how many people i've met that had that as there arguement for hateing Aerith. and dont hate me for expressing my opinion on the matter, plz. and no, i dont hate Tifa. i like her as a charictor, im just saying what i think. sweatdrop but aeris died and tifa didnt.............. and i think he didnt get together with tifa because idk... doesnt wanna express himself ?!?! haha i dont no wat im saying ??XD

Tifa has a wedding ring! You never see it in the movie since she wears gloves, but I took a look at her Action Figure, and I noticed a ring on her finger! So she and Cloud are married, yet Cloud still pines after Aeris, geez, Tifa should just dump him and hook up with someone who will appreciate her evil

I mean, heck, tiffa certainly doesn't seem the type to just sit back and take it like that. Especially with a frail little momma's boy like cloud. She'd kick the Shhhcrap outta him and tell him what's what! And she loved Zack; even near the end (of her, I mean) the thought of him made her run from the room (in the little village just after leaving the Golden Saucer). Cloud simply interested her because he dressed like Zack, used the exact same weapon, and claimed to be a member of soldier like Zack was. And what about the Yuffie fans? where are they? not just in here; in the whole guild?

Though I do Prefer AerisXcloud Over TifaXCloud. . *twitch* Okay, I just have to say that my most hated pairing ever is SephirothxAeris. Second would be VincentxYuffie. And I don't like AerisxCloud either. But I love Sephiroth!!!!
