Last night was a fun night for us here.....not....extreme weather and tornado warnings and spottings.....had to take cover in my boyfriends uncles house seeing as we live in a mobile home....not a good place to be during a tornado. It was really bad. Had to take the baby out in the pouring rain. Ah well....we are all good today. No damage to our place or our persons. Theres talk that a tornado actually touched down for a few seconds in town, but other than that it was all funnel clouds.

Evertyhing is ok here....no damage to anything I or my family owned....some trees down around town, but its all good.
Went to my grandparents 50th anniversary party yesterday. I was in charge of making the cake....turned out pretty good. I think Im gonna get back into cake making.....Since I dont work anymore maybe itll be a good way to make some extra money.

*sniff* My Goddaughter is growing up....she starts kindergarten today....I cant believe shes 5 years old already!
Man, Im going to be a wreck in 5 years when my son starts school!

Hmm.. I wouldn't know. I haven't remembered to login for a while again!
The first cake I ever made was for Jade's birthday. I've made a few since, but I haven't tried baking many desserts before!
I was a wreck after Jade started kindergarten, but I had a delayed effect because I was on Zoloft which flattened my emotions to nothing. So a few weeks later when I was off Zoloft, THEN I was a wreck! LOL It still hits me sometimes when I see her riding off on the bus..
Glad there was no damage to you or your stuff ghostie! We had golfball size hail a few weeks ago and State Farm's catastrophic services was up here for a long time handling everyone's claims, mostly for car damage. Our cars were in the garage!
I assume you're all better now Plum? I'm so dreading any of us getting sick now that school's started, and Swine Flu is starting to spread close by! 2 middle schoolers up here have it, and Jason's brother's boss in Albuquerque has it.
EDIT - I just took the Tampax quiz and for some reason I just found it really funny, I'm not sure why! I think when I was back in high school, if I were on a site like this (not that anything existed back then except AOL and split-screen unix talk-requesting), advertising to teens about something like tampons or pads would be so taboo!

LOL, fawNie. The prize from that quiz is pretty though! LOL Reminds me of the commercials where everyone is spinning around in that type of flowy dress and they make the tampon look just like it. hahahaha rofl

I think it's a pretty prize, Twinnie. And, ghostie, you should be able to find in the old announcements if the quiz is still active. I'm not sure if it is or not, though. *hugs*
