Rahvu nodded at her as he moved as quickly as he could with his long legs. Not exactly running however he was going a little faster than some one would when they were walking. He was keeping is nose up and also his eyes open for something, that something that he was smelling. He lifted his head a bit as he slowed before he faced the direction he was sure the scent was coming from, soon he laid his eyes on a few small antalope.
"There." He nodded to her in a whisperish hiss before nodding at her, a grin on his face. "Whadda think?" He whispered again not wanting to give them away]

The cheetah looked over where Rahvu was looking. Sure enough there was something to eat, hot damn. Hopefully the two could manage to get one of those antelope down for the count with out much trouble. Hopefully Pilate wouldn't make a full of her self like she had earlier.
"I think we can take em," Pilate looked up licking her chops. A smile rested on her maw, pleased. The cheetah was pleased.
"We should probably get a weak one away from the group. . . And then go for the kill.." She blinked up at Rahvu, "Any ideas?"

Rahvu was also more that sure that they could take the herd that was in front of them. It made him grin widely at the idea, his tail flicking around behind him before a smirk grew on his lips. He was ready for this.
"I know we can take them." He whispered back the same smirk on his lips. He flicked his tail behind him before looking forward at the group in front of them. "I was thinking the same thing." He chuckled slightly and nodded his eyes scanning over before picking out a smaller one with a limp. "There." He said in a hiss like whisper. "We can get that one. Just wait for the perfect moment, you go first, I'll follow." HE nodded before slinking down more on his legs, hoping that they could catch what they were aiming for.

Pilate gave him a curt nod and started off . Slowly at first she got closer and closer to the beast, and none of them had any idea that she was there. Her slender body and lengthy legs made it easy to weave through the grass.
Closer and closer the cheetah got until she was close enough to see the whites of their eyes. Steady, this was no going to happen fast.
The cheetah, Managed to wedge her way between the weak one of the herd and the healthy ones before showing her self . The healthy antelope went one way and the weak one was forced to run a different path with Pilate being right there.
It ran in as best an antelope can with a limp, but the run wasn't going to last long. Pilate held her post, chasing after it so it couldn't re unit it self with the rest of the herd.

Rahvu looked at the slender cheetah before grinning at her. He crouched down and quickly followed beside her the best he could. He watched her carefully to keep an eye on what he was doing. He was trying his hardest to figure out what she was going to do, what kind of plan she had going on in her mind. He knew for a fact that she had some kind of idea going on in her mind, he was going to figure out what kind of plan that was going on. When she took of an idea finally hit his mind. He watched her and the creature carefully once more to figure out where they were doing. It didn't take him that long to dash a little way in front of them. This was going to be perfect. He dashed forward at just the right moment. Lashing his claws out at the beast, knocking it out of Pilate's path so she didn't stumble over him. He let out a grunt as he felt it hit the ground. He moved as quickly as he could to dig his jaws into the creature, growling slightly as he did.

Pilate slowed and gave Rahvu a smile. That had been a simple enough hunt. Much easier then catching on your own. Much easier.
"Wow, nice take down ~ "The cheetah pranced her way over to Rahvu and peered at his handy work, she even whistled a little. Sure, she had killed things before hunting too, but the handy work of a lion was much more impressive then that of a cheetah. A cheetah's jaw muscles just weren't equipped the way a lions were.
The cheetah pawed the dead thing lightly.
"Real nice work," The cheetah beamed. Pilate wasn't a morbid kinda feline but she really had little sympathy for what was food. Other felines and predators on the other hand.... she had a bleeding heart.

Ravhu was also glad that he had some one to help her bring it down. It made him feel pretty good, he really hoped that it took her mind off of the kill that she missed earlier. He Leaned over and nipped at the cheetah's ear.
He leaned down and chewed at the skin of the animal. "I couldn't have done it with out you." He chuckled slightly before he looked at her with a smile on his face. "First bite is yours." He grinned the gentlemen side of him showing. He flicked his tail behind again, before sitting back on his haunches more. He then looked at the food in front of them.
"Like I said I couldn't have done it with out you." He grinned then nodded toward her. "We make a good team." He grinned even more wide then flicked his hair out of his eyes. "We should hunt together, you're really cool Pilate." He flashed a large grin on his face.

The cheetah had been around boys before, but none of them had really tried to be gentleman. Some of em nice, yes, but boys will be boys. Never had she been called cool before either. Strange or eyesore maybe but not cool.
Heat rose to her cheeks turning her face pink. Lucky for her , the green fur concealed the blushing. But really, she was flattered with all his kindness.
"You sure?" The cheetah tilted her head and got real close to his personal space, "Gotta warn you, us cheetah's eat a lot after running," The cheetah giggled and pawed at the lion playfully.
Course she was half kidding half telling the truth. Pilate was a bit of a glutton some times.

Rahvu looked at the Cheetahess he couldn't help but to smile. Other's laughter always made him feel better even if he way already in a good mood it made him feel even better. He laughed softly then nodded. "I'm sure, ladies first." Her next comment he couldn't help but break into more laughter. "Us lions eat a lot too." He winked playfully at her then leaned down as she started to eat and ate himself. His tail flicking happily behind him, after that run he was hungrier than he thought but at the same time he still wasn't that hungry.
"Well, what can I say? I guess you cheetahs do eat more than us." He grinned at her before chuckling some more, he nipped at her again playfully before sitting back on his haunches again, grinning at her.

Pilate grinned up at him, licking her chops. For such a quick eater, she was pretty neat about how she went about her eating.
"You ate alot your self... but I think I win," Her chest puffed out proudly, she really could eat for such a little thing. Food would never be refused by her.
"I think we make a pretty good team. " The cheetah winked.

Rahvu looked at the cheetah then grinned at her. "Well I think you did." He chuckled a bit before flicking the hair out of his eyes and standing up. He bowed towar dher quickly before smling softly. "Well I think I should head back home. But I do hope to run into you again. We could hang around next time." He chuckled slightly before turning around . "I'll see you again Pilate." He smirked softly at her.

Pilate gave him the biggest cheesiest grin she could muster, "Course, I'll find you some other time."
What was this? She almost blushed when she said that? A crush? Or the beginnings of one? Well, the way he had killed that gazelle had been pretty... impressive. But...
"Catch ya later, " The cheetah winked and started off on her own way. There was a bit of an extra pop in her step as she went.
